Room was fine, hotel has a charming feel to it. Odd smell in the corridor but didn't notice it in the room. It was unusually warm when we were there in early June and we had to ask for a fan to cool the room. Couldn't just open the windows as there was a huge concert happening late into the...

We were on a weekend tour to Odense and wanted to stay somewhere central, but not too costly. Hotel Ansgar, situated very close to the train station, had just those qualities. Nothing pretentious, Ansgar is what you may call a Danish 'classic'. The interior decor takes you fifty years back and so does the friendliness you meet at the front...

Easy access to city centre as wll as railway station. Charming old hotel - just what you need for a couple of nights in Odense. We had a room on level 3. Very quiet over night. Excellent international breakfast included. Friendly, smiling staff. Will certainly stay here next time in Odense.

We stayed here 2 times in different weeks. The first day we had a room that was really dirty (hair on the pillows and linens and the garbage bin was tremendous). I asked the concierge to be moved in another room but they had not unbooked one. But our children had enjoyed the baby room and the breakfast and we...

We stayed at this property in Odense Denmark during August 2016. The hotel is very centrally located, about a five minute walk from the center of town, much of which is a no vehicle area. The rooms are small but adequate, the hotel is quite old but kept up well. The rooms have showers, a TV, free WiFi, and other...

Rooms are tiny (though beds ok), hotel parking a nightmare, and whilst the food at breakfast was fine, they can't even be bothered to lay out any place settings. When we stayed, the place was full of noisy teenagers and as the soundproofing between rooms was virtually non-existent, this didn't make for a peaceful stay. I wish we'd spent a...

A good place to stay if you don't wish for the latest trends in furnishing. In the city centre. Very friendly staff! Got the room already at 12. The free coffee and afternoon cake is a nice touch. Parking space is limited unfortunately. A Finn likes the breakfast, because it's the most important meal of the day (a lot of...

Fairly convenient especially from the train station but no AC and very dated. Minimal parking available. Decent breakfast. Not especially clean. Lots of street noise if you open the windows to cool off the room. Staff was helpful. Could use a good cleaning throughout the hotel

We stayed here last night on a one night stay as we drove from Sweden to Denmark. Really nice helpful staff, good location, very very clean, good parking and really close to good bars and restaurants. Room a little smaller but very compact is the only fault, but we would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is no longer fit for purpose and in desperate need for a full make-over. When given the key to my room I entered into a room which had not been made up. The new room I got was about 2,5x2,5m and very old. The bathroom was completely substandard with moulding tiles and shower curtain. stayed for 2 nights...
