The hotel comes with small, however, good and comfortable rooms. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, a so-called gourmet dinner, which was both great and affordable. With prices at the lower end of the 4-star range, a stay at Knudsen is a fair deal.
The hotel and rooms are in half-timbered house style. We could park the car on the premisses. We had a room in a separate building, as it was raining this is a little less comfortable. The room had comfortable beds and was quiet. We arrived very late, and the kitchen was just closing. The reception made sure we were able to eat anyway, we felt very welcome! Check out was quick and friendly.
I did not think it was worth the price. Everything was very old fashion. Bathroom not well made and wind coming in from the old windows, tiny shower place and water all over after shower... Room generally oldfashion and not funtionally.
Comfortable beds and quite room despite the proximity to a busy road. Easy parking and a nearby petrol station with a convenience store and hot takeaway food, if you do not fancy the very fine hotel restaurant. Wuick check in and out.
Located on a heavy traffic corner at the entrance to Odense City. Extremely friendly and good service. Stayed in the old section which was OK, but probably not quite up to general room standard. At breakfast scrambled eggs and bacon may be the best I have had on a hotel - obviously home made to traditional standards. Otherwise the breakfast was standard. WiFi was great. 24 hour convenience store at neighboring filling station.
