this property is quite famous in the ciuty as one of the best in town. The check in has been well managed in a very kind way. I have to say that I have been quite disappointed for some reason that you can't expect in a 4 stars hotel. The room was a single room, I can't complain about the size, but it is much lower the average in the cisty ( I already tried 3 other hotels) First, the sheet that covered the topping of the bed was too short and every movement was uncovered topping and mattress. I really don't like this. I find it, maybe I am wrong, unhygienic and not confortable, I put this as first , because especially when you travel for business the quality of sleep is the most important. Second, the bathroom. I had a small bathroom with a shower divided by a curtain. Obviously, after washing, the floor was flooded. And slippery. Third is the breakfast. I just took away 2 apples, to get them while driving to my morniing meeting. The apples were old and definitely inedible. Good is the idea to serve the tea in take away paper glasses. It has been my bfast in car. I apologize for being so hard with my review, but I hope this could help the management to improve the service, that for me was quite poor. Best regards…
Terrible service...At the arrival they told me I could park the car in their private parking, but they did not register the note they asked me to fill with the plate number. So the day after I found a fine of more than 100 euros!!!! On the phone they denied everything, even the fact that I had filled the note the day before....incredible! No answer to two emails sent in the following days....at the reception they told me "it's your word against ours"! Definitevely they cannot treat customers like that
The hotel is in an excellent location from the train station. Beautiful building and nice lobby. We arrived a bit early, but had to wait until 2:00 for a room. No early check in. Coffee and tea available in the lobby from a machine. Room was clean. No luggage rack provided so we had to keep suitcases on the floor. Large bathroom, but only 2 towels! Bed was too soft and bouncy. Breakfast was very good and served in a nice room. Umbrellas provided in the lobby. Nice staff.
For my journey to ODENSEI in the first moment I think at Milling Plaza for location and facilities as its was describe on site. The reality is that the hotel is old with furniture from ancient times, very small rooms, unpleasant smell in the bathroom, some rooms overlooking the inner courtyard and windows with small surfaces. Breakfast is ok. Next time I will not come back here again.
I was staying there for (luckily) one night only. There are many things that needs to improve at this hotel before they should be allowed to charge about EUR 120 per night for a single room........well call it a room!! I call it an old, poorly equipped cigar box. On top of this the reception area was under refurbishment (painting etc.) which is indeed required, BUT either you close the hotel during the refurbishment OR you at least inform guest when booking about the refurbishment. I was certainly not informed, but charged full price. On another note; if you - despite my comments - decide to refurbish whilst being open for guest, then please ask the workers to remove their stuff at the end of the working day. There was left over painting pots, tape etc. all over the place. Recently I read in the media that the Milling Hotel chain plan to be present in Copenhagen as well. My assessment is; stay away - you won't stand a chance when looking at price/quality!!! By the way; the elevator - how charming it looks - should undergo service checks regularly. I noted that last inspection expiry date was back in 2018!! All in all this is not a 4* hotel and I regret to say: my first and last stay at this hotel!!…
