Here are relatively few people in Hong Kong know where my friends and I came to this island tour one day. In line to see this as a fairy tale cottage, although the price is more expensive but worth it! Good location, only 5 minutes away from the marina and tourist desk, we were staying with "Amsterdam" style rooms, very... More

We stayed in the Copenhagen room, which is a converted garage in the back yard of the home. It is therefore separate from the main building, which is great for quiet, and you have your own bathroom. The good: - The location is perfect for exploring Aeroskobing on foot, and its easily reached from the ferry. - The sheets on... More

This is a wonderful little B&B. We stayed in the Copenhagen room, which is in a separate building at the back of the garden. Breakfast was wonderful each morning, timed to be ready when you wanted. The owners are very friendly, providing a great overview of the island. Their dog is absolutely adorable. The owners are moving back to Copenhagen... More

We stayed in the London room which was nice and across from the two shared baths on the second floor. Great breakfast each morning and free wi-fi. Good place and quite convenient. However, the house has been sold and will no longer operate after this season.

You come to Aero to see a little of countryside Denmark and of course, the 1700-1800 era old homes which have been painted all different colors. My relatives came from this island, so I have been here a couple times, although this was the first time we stayed at Toldbodhuset. I agree with the previous reviews: great owners, nice folks... If you are lucky enough to get one of the four rooms at the Toldbodhus Bed & Breakfast, it will be a highlight of your trip to Denmark. Karin and John, the hosts, will make you feel like long lost friends instead of customers. The rooms are named for cities in which they have lived and are filled with antiques... More

We spent two nights in the Tokyo Room. The room is a bit overdone with knick-knacks, but the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great and the location of the inn is very convenient to the ferry and shops. We also enjoyed just relaxing in the yard in the evening - a pleasant secluded little oasis.

Stayed in the private garden apt for three nights in June 2011. Aero is such an idyllic island and staying at the Toldbodhus truly added to the charm. Karin and John were wonderful hosts from the minute I emailed them with our reservation request. The ferry closest to the Inn was not in service and they were kind enough to... More

We spent two nights in the "London Room" and had a great stay. The owners, John & Karin, are excellent hosts who go out of their way to pamper their guests. Upon checking in, we were given valuable information about the nearest points of interest and a map to use when John found out that we were planning on biking... More

We spent two nights and days at Toldbodhus in july 2011 during our week long tour around Funen island and the time spent at Toldbodhus on Aero were without competition the highlight of our trip. The warmth and hospitality of the Steenbergs and their personal touch on both the interior decorations and the simply divine breakfast made our stay a... More
