Great location, central to everything in the CBD of Larissa, Greece. The hotel is central to everything and walking distance to 2 plaza's, a multitude of cafes, restaurants, eateries and shops, also, taxi stands, buses, ancient ruins (theatre and neolithic settlement and more), offices, doctors, dentists etc. Management and staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and fluent in English. Reception is manned 24hrs. The hotel has its own private car park. The hotel is very clean. My room is adequate, quiet, very clean and the bed is comfortable. WiFi is free, fast and no drop outs. WiFi and mobile reception is excellent. My room is serviced daily and toiletries replenished as required. Every room has a balcony and split system air conditioning. The front rooms have a view of the local cafes, restaurants, shops, trees and plaza (PlateaTahithromio). The buffet breakfast offers a variety of breakfast foods, coffees and teas, freshly squeezed orange juice and fruit. Hotel management and staff will go out of their way to attempt to cater for your dietary requirements. I highly recommend staying at the Metropol Hotel long term or short term. Thank you Management and staff for making my stay so welcoming and comfortable.

Sorry to tell but its one of the most terrifying hotels I.ve ever stayed. Really really needs some restoration. And when it comes to the stuff, they all are very friendly and helpful -thanks for that by the way-

This is an Old hotel located at the city center of Larissa. Very easy to park your car, since the hotel provides a free private underground parking. Rooms are average clean. Personnel is friendly. Breakfast could be better. Hotel needs a great restoration, since it has the big advantage of the city center location and the free parking.

I have stayed in this hotel for one week and I must say that, apart from the kindness of the staff and the central position, I cannot really find many positive things. We were three persons and had a double room with an extra bed, but the presence of the extra bed took so much space it was almost impossible moving. The room had a balcony, but the view wasn't nice and it was either dirty or the tiles were so ruined they need to be changed asap. The bathroom was also really small and whenever we took a shower it was more like a sauna. The bath/shower was extremely old and ruined, it needs to be changed. Breakfast was not included in the price, it was 5€ per person. When we saw what was offered on the first day, we decided to have breakfast in a cafe nearby. On the bright side, the rooms were cleaned every day and the bed sheets and towels were changed every day as well. It definitely needs much improvement and refurbishing, but at least it's in the centre and it's clean.
