I spent a week at the Perigiali hotel in mid September 2020 and it was again just perfect; not overcrowded, friendly and personal attention by all staff members incl. the Management, I highly recommend this hotel.
What a hotel! Really awesome. Great aesthetics, perfect location, spotless clean, amazing customer service. The team of young professionals like Michalis and Marycate really rock!! It doesn't come cheap but it is worth every penny.
Very professional and friendly accommodation. Excellent location, made our vacation enjoy-full. The Breakfast had a very good variety of local products. They kept all security measures and we felt very secure at all times.
Located 70 m from one of the most beautiful beaches of Skyros the hotel impressed me for the cleanliness, service, courtesy of the staff, clean and functional spaces, discreet and careful music and tremendous calm. Breakfast, made of high quality traditional materials is only one of the highlights. I strongly recommend it.
A gorgeous family run little hotel a stone's throw from the beach. It is our third year here, and we really enjoy it every time. I have been meaning to write a review all along but what made me sit down and do it is the following, which you may find important: Amalia and Antonis, the owners, do take this COVID business seriously: Staff do wear masks. Breakfast is served by begloved personnel, and guests have to wear a mask when going to the buffet. And once we have finished our breakfast, they will come along and clean the table with antiseptic solution. Without becoming obtrusive, they really make us feel safe. Skyros is a relatively quiet island, and the village where the hotel is located is not crowded in the least. I think that for this year (2020) it is arguably one's best anti-COVID choice. To other things: The hotel is really well maintained and has been designed with gusto - there are rooms for every taste, larger, smaller, with kitchenette and without. It is clear the couple love what they do; one can tell by their attention to detail: Cane decoration under the balcony wooden roof, coat hanger as you enter the room, washing lines for swimming trunks to dry out on, mosquito repellent in the desk drawer, felt pads on chair legs so they don't squeak when drawn and annoy your neighbours... Just nice! For fear of boring the reader, I shall not repeat the very positive comments regarding staff and guests; please read the glowing reviews provided by others, especially the one by Hungry Emu (hee, hee!). Parking nearby can be an issue but there is a parking area 50m from the hotel. If reasonably fit you can easily get by without a car anyway: there is an excellent taverna nearby (Stefanos) as well as a fully stocked supermarket, and the sandy beach by the hotel is superb. If you walk along the bay and cross the brook, you get to the restaurants and cafes on Molos (including Anemolyti). Should you wish to venture into Skyros town, you go up the paved pedestrian path which leads to the archaeological museum; it is a 10 minute walk up the hill. Do bring a torch along (or a mobile 'phone with a light) because although on a moonlit night coming down the path on the way back is a doddle, on a dark night extra light is necessary. The starlit sky is ample reward, mind... Complaints? Erm... None whatsoever...…
