What a stay! The villas are incredible, fully equiped, and the view to Spetses, the Pelopponnese and the Saronic gulf is absolutely fantastic. Add to that a swimming pool under pines and olive trees. Perfect for families. Excellent service too

Staying at The Xenon Estate is a spectacular experience. The estate grounds are impeccable, the villas are gorgeous, each offering different views from decks and balconies as well as the stunning pool area. Around sunset, views are some of the best on this seemingly quite undiscovered island of Spetses. I was there last year on a catamaran so didn't stay in a villa but the hospitality Alex (the owner) offered from the moment I arrived was truly 5 star and I shall return. We had to tweak a little here and there upon my arrival and when the booking agent Pretty Little Villas were less than accommodating, Alex couldn't have been more gracious, finding solutions for anything that needed a little extra attention. Xenon Estate is a special experience and I encourage all readers to try it. Luxurious, sophisticated yet relaxed. You will truly unwind in this glorious location. Alex also has the help of his trusty assistant Hermet who is available to organize scooters, food deliveries, shopping etc. and there is an adorable housekeeper on site who speaks excellent English and keeps the villas in impeccable condition. Tip them well! they deserve it and will make your stay incredibly memorable. I do recommend downloading Google Earth until you get to know the route from the port, restaurants and beaches. Also keep in mind that you need a special scooter license in Greece which is country-wide, not just specific to Spetses. Many, many wonderful beaches and restaurants as well as a fantastic fish market. Great shopping, great vibe and wonderful people.Thank you Alex. I will definitely return to your slice of paradise.

I seem to only post gushing reviews about the Xenon and apologies, this one will be no different. Another year; another amazing stay. We stayed in the largest villa Astraea this year. It is just as lovely as the others, cleverly built so you are almost completely separated from the others. As ever the grounds and the pool are immaculately kept with lovely attention to detail (the candles picking out the paths and the pool in the evening are a particularly nice touch). Our villa was cleaned to an extremely high standard everyday (no mean feet with a toddler who likes to scatter her toys and leave grubby fingerprints everywhere). This is our fifth year and we will hopefully be back next year. With stressful jobs and long hours this is what we end up living for - 2 weeks of relaxing in the sun with wonderful staff who are friendly and attentive. Alex is super too and great to catch up with a glass of wine and so helpful with anything you need. We always manage to find a new place to explore on the island or a new favourite restaurant - the added bonus of a babysitter and fabulous takeaways is yet another perk. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Spetzes is something completely different from the imagery and sort of cliché of typical Greek island. substantially free-car, it still has the charme of horse-coach aside the (too) many motorbikes; ita style is more close to venetian architecture, and has a sort dignity of an old elegant charming lady. The old port is just unique, with its 1800 old houses still very well kept. 'Tourists' are mainly the good bourgoisie of Athens, and all in all it makes the experience superb. So said, it is an island difficult to explore, especially if you have a family: the nice beaches are on the opposite site of city, and it is not so easy to get there by bus, or taxi (you have just 7 on the island) so you have to take a (motor) bike, which is very difficult with a 1-year old baby. Alex and his team at Xenons estate makes great the stay even for family like ours. Facilities are very well kept, view is just amazing, hospitality is at the best. Surely, position per se is a bit far from the center and apart from move from/to the city, we risk to loose a bit of the atmosphere just described. So, our rating would be for very good (4 stars) - but Alex and the staff go for the extra mile and deserve an excellent 5 star - which also justies the price, surely not cheap but in line with the prices of the island (closer to Eu standards than to greek islands)

The place is ideal for those who are seeking for good rest and mind reset. All the amenities are beyond expectations and it feels like that everything on the state is arange to satisfy guests needs. Luxury for sure, not to show off but for real indulgence. Recommend the whole Spetses experience.
