We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The hotel room was very clean while the location is excellent. Breakfast was simple which is ok but it was of law quality. Bed matrices were very soft and pillows were not comfortable.
Unforgettable stay in 18 century big mansion with 18 century details . Easy to found from the port , excellent shadow yard with old olive tree for the breakfast . Excellent breakfast with fresh orange juice and hand made bread , marmalade and bakery. The specious room , all rooms with a nice view ether to the see or to the town , with fresh breeze from the see in the room . Spotless clean and quiet . The owner are the family how you always at the hotel for to help and advise .
I was happy to stay here - a simple, clean room with a lovely courtyard and a roof deck - in a beautiful old building. Private bathrooms, refrigerators and AC and TV in the rooms but still with an old world feel to it.
We stayed for two nights and will go back on our next visit. The rooms are clean, with hot water, air conditioning, and comfortable beds. The morning breakfast is served in the lovely courtyard and the staff were all very accommodating. Liked that the courtyard is locked at night. Sue and Alekos
Recently stayed at the Ippokampos Hotel Two nights when visiting Idra with my daughter recently. The Hotel is a traditional Idra house, which has been remodeled and additional floor. The owner has maintained the paradosiako style, with modern fit out. This is evident in the wonderful courtyard and terrace. The hotel is located convenient a 10 minute walk from the harbor, which can easily be walked by all, with not too steep an incline. The breakfast was good, with some nice detail such as; quality yogurt, homemade and excellent honey, enjoyed in the lovely courtyard. The rooms are basic, but functional. Although our room had a garden view, some enjoy a harbor view. Staffed by all ladies, and all greet you with a smile.
