This place is beautiful, the views are absolutely stunning and katerina and thekla are very personable and kind hosts. We were made to feel at home The place is very tranquil and we will definitely come again next year.
a family ran Villa, a fantastic large pool, very good breakfast served. top 3 locations to stay in Aegina island. fantastic views, remote on top of a hill, car stip drive up at some short points quiet environment. rooms good in size. bathrooms on king suite rather small. during covid period cleaning was done only upon request overall a good experience
We absolutely loved our stay here! The room was a bit small but had everything and was super clean. The beauty product supplies were great too. Breakfast was good but the same everyday. The host and other staff member were amazing, really sweet and helpful. Last but not least, the outdoor area is perfect, especially for sunset. You get a sense of comfort and luxury as soon as you get into the property. We loved it!
We have stayed at Marini five times now. The place is in the highlands above the bustle of the tourists, family owned and operated. It is like a bed and breakfast in the way it feels and in terms of your treatment. Hotels in Greece can be very spartan in decor. Marini is more European, modern and comfortable. We find the family very friendly and attentive to our needs. We are foreign to Greece yet they treat us like family. The pool is huge and never crowded. The food is homemade and delicious. Breakfast is a small but fresh buffet with enough variety that allows us to stay for a week and not grow tired of the choices. The view of the water and sunset is amazing despite being up the hill and not on the beach. The ride to the port takes 20 minutes. It took going up the hill twice before getting the feel of it. I was glad the taxi driver knew the location but have since driven rental cars when staying. We are Americans who have traveled everywhere and can afford to stay in any level of hotel. We enjoy the Marini for quiet getaways and will stay again soon.…
King suite is a living room with 2 double beds and a big useless kitchen. Tiny bathroom is falling apart. Gym is a garage box. Breakfast is same food several days in a row. Industrial bread and juice.
Amazing very nice hotel, a must visit destination. Quiet, warm, the hostess was great, friendly and polite. The room was clean and quiet with super amenities and lot of light. The view unique! Defenatly will come back!
We stayed here in the summer and although the hotel was okay and nothing special the owner was rude and always yelling. She treats her customers disrespectfully as well as her staff. She had a very pleasant young girl working for her but to our dismay the owner was one of the most awful people you will come across. Do yourself a favour and stay far away from this hotel. She deserves her hotel to be out of business. awful, awful, awful
The location of the hotel is off the beaten track but worth making the effort because of the beautiful views of the coast and islands. It is incredibly peaceful and the hotel is spotlessly clean and run by a friendly staff. Everything was great - the pool is a good size with plenty of deck chairs and umbrellas and the breakfast was really good with Greek pastries and local pistachio jam. You do need to hire a car to get around the island.
The Marini Luxury Apartments and Suites is a fantastic hotel situated on a hill overlooking the city of Aegina. We were three adults and two children and the service for us was great. The owners has a great personality and are very helpful. Our room was one of the biggest situated on first floor with a great view to the island of Agistri. Their included breakfast was great as you can see on the picture. All in all a fantastic hotel with 20 sunbeds at the pool. We didn’t have any problems with getting a sunbed👍🏻
Stayed at Villa Marini with friends and family to celebrate our friend's big "Five O" and it is great. The location is almost on the peak of the mountain with a magnificent view of the sea. It takes only ten to fifteen minutes to get to the hotel from the ferry. The hotel has beautiful garden and a large and tranquil pool area. It is really amazing and relaxing to spend the whole day and early evening with this view, watching the sun set in the Mediterranean! Unfortunately there wifi was out of order and it takes a while before your food is served when having lunch. I recommend renting a car, which is delivered at the hotel, as it makes it much easier to move around the beautiful island with its beaches, small villages and really good restaurants. This is an island with a lot of potential. Go here before everyone else is:)…
