The hotel is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The rooms are very clean and modern with wonderful balconies looking out over a quiet neighborhood in Ancient Olympia. All of the interior décor shows the personal touches in every corner. The Spiliopoulos family are very gracious and accommodating hosts. The breakfast buffet is very adequate and prepared fresh every morning. We... More

Owner and staff were very friendly. We walked in late on a Tuesday and they were able to instantly accommodate the three of us. We were able to check out the room first. We stayed one night and everything was great. Beds were comfortable A/C worked good and wifi was good. Breakfast was delicious and you can see the Olympic... More

We found this an excellent hotel for an overnight stay during our visit to the archaeological site and museum at Olympia. We were given a friendly welcome, useful information and a large room with windows and balconies on two sides, overlooking the square by the church, which was very quiet. The AC worked well and was quiet too. Breakfast was... More

We enjoyed a too-brief visit at Hotel Pelops this week as we passed through Olympia on a 2-night stay. The hotel is strikingly decorated, with a luxurious feel that completely belies the rate we paid. Located right in the town, it's an easy walk to the historical sites. Since we had a car, we were also easily able to take... More

I arrived tired and a bit punch-drunk from a long day of bus travel to find a lovely, friendly oasis at the Pelops. The room was cool and large and even had a little balcony. Susanna was so helpful, recommending wonderful food and activities.

Do you know the feeling when you enter a room or a building and everything just falls into the right place.? Like the calmness or the atmosphere just is so right for you. That was the exact feeling we got while arriving at The Pelops. Knowing for sure that we will be back, not only for the atmosphere but because... More

We were a group visiting Olympia towards end May 2016 and chose the Pelops by chance, based on their price, appealing website and very positive traveller comments. We weren't disappointed. A family run hotel (going back to the grandfather), recently renovated, it offers very comfortable, clean, well maintained rooms overlooking a neatly manicured square and a beautiful church (Sunday mornings... My husband and I had an incredibly pleasant stay at Hotel Pelops. We had a beautiful room with a very large balcony and a view of the town. The owner provided us with an excellent suggestion for food (Aegean- center of town and all made from scratch; don't bother with the touristy places nearby); was seriously the best meat we... More

VERY personable Owner at the reception desk! Extremely nice hotel, and excellently maintained! They put us in a ground floor triple due to my "infirmaties," which worked out well. Nice small refrigerator in the room. Great bathroom - shower only. Very decent breakfast buffet, with FRESH orange juice. Lemon trees growing next to our first floor balcony. Richard Steves was... Suzanna and Theo are just wonderful people. Olympia is charming and you couldn't ask for more wonderful hosts. And let them feed you at the Aegean. Real Greek food only found when Mama is in the kitchen. Try artichoke hearts in lemon sauce. Actually you can try most anything. And if you are nice, Suzanna will give you some wonderful... More
