The hotel has everything you can ask for. It’s location is absolutely brilliant for a stroll through the city and for the most vibrant areas of Thessaloniki. Although as a pedestrian you’ve way more advantages, right opposite the hotel is a parking garage that cooperates and charges 10€ per day.
The interior of the hotel itself and in the rooms particularly is very modern, absolutely clean and with lots of lovely details.
A few words about the staff: not a single word must be spoken to let you feel welcome! Everybody I met was genuinely friendly and full of recommendations they are happy to share.
The breakfast is also absolutely delicious.
I highly recommend a stay at the Caravan. I’ll definitely come back.

We had a great time in The Caravan. This boutique hotel is really one of its kind, we really loved it! Each piece of furniture is unique and the rooms, the cafe and all the spaces are decorated with great taste. We really loved the so many decorative details, all vivivful and cheerful. The decoration itself can lift your mood up. The location is great, very central, a stone's throw from restaurants, bars, shops, everything you need. Everything was clean and there is a pillow menu you can chooser from. The breakfast has great variety, too. Last but not least, the friendly and enthusiastic staff, always there to provide helpful suggestions or just ask how your day is going. Definitely our favorite in Thessaloniki, will visit again!

we stayed at the Caravan for three nights in July 2022, in summary, we had a Wonderfull time. A memorable experience. as I wrote in the title, it is the team that runs this place that made our stay memorable.
Location is excellent, within short walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the market.
The rooms are large and well appointed, no coffee machine but you don't really need one, just go to reception and order your hot/cold Latte, which are very good
Breakfast was excellent with personalized service.
checkin-out was simple and efficient. if you arrive by car, the parking is across the street (one way street, so plan ahead). parking is $12/night and it is separate from the hotel, you do have to keep your keys with the parking attendant.
The team running this place is amazing, helpful, courteous and will go the extra mile to ensure you're having an amazing experience.
Thessaloniki is a wonderful city and our stay at The Caravan made it even better, I will not hesitate recommending The Caravan, we will definitely be back.

I had a fantastic 1 night stay at The Caravan B&B. I was greeted by a very cheery lady (sorry I didn’t get your name, but you were wearing a pink shirt and purple mask). The receptionist took time to recommend places to see during my short stay in Thessaloniki. At check-in, I was also upgraded to the Junior Suite. The room was chic and clean with some quirky details eg monogrammed towels and bed sheets, vintage telephone and graphic designs on the wall. There was even a cushion menu! The breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh local food. Overall, the The Caravan B&B was a safe, clean and central haven for me to rest before my onwards travels.

I visited the Caravan B&B two weeks ago. I stayed at the executive suite, which was very spacious and beautifully decorated, comfortable and had a great view of the city. It was fully equipped with everything I needed for my stay and it was really organized and clean, as well. The staff was very friendly and made sure I had a great and comfortable stay. The hotel is located in the very center of the city and was very easy to access. I also appreciated having breakfast in the morning, which was personalized to my likings, and served in a very cozy dining room. I would definitely recommend the Caravan B&B to anyone visiting Thessaloniki!

It was a great choice to stay here while we explored Thessaloniki and Macedonia. The rooms were cleaned daily and I have never seen a cleaner bathroom in all my years of traveling around Greece. The bed was firm but comfortable and there was ample room for our posessions. The breakfasts were of high quality and the portions were just right. The staff often offered us home made jams, marmalades or cakes for us to try. The staff were fantastic. Friendly and attentive, but unobtrusive when necessary. All in all, a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Thessaloniki. I rate it 5*

The only thing I might want to add to previous reviews is that the staff is the most attentive, hospitable, helpful, sociable, personable bunch of people you'll ever meet in any kind of accommodation. Being greeted every morning, asked how your previous day was, being offered unobtrusive help at every turn, the willingness to chat about the place itself and the city, and countless other interactions made us feel that we were welcome and spoiled guests in their home. Also, they arranged our PCR test at a discount at a local clinic about 10 minutes away. I chose The Caravan over a less expensive option when I realised we'd have some bad weather during our trip, and decided it was worth paying more for a nicer place if we'd have to spend more time indoors. Had I known just how good it was to stay here, I wouldn't have considered any place else!

Very beautiful ,clean room and bathroom! Good location. The staff very very friendly , they made us a free update to the room, a room for 3 people to make us feel more comfortable. Probably because of covid-19, the breakfast was poor, we chose the night before what we wanted to eat next day.

This is THE place to stay in central Thessaloniki ! Cool design and run by a team of enthusiastic , helpful and charming people. Nice rooms , quiet and well furnished. Lovely typical Greek breakfast and a small cafe where guests are welcome to sit and take a coffee. I have stayed in hotels for over 40 years and as value for money and service with a smile puts Caravan in my top 5 hotels ever !!! It felt like staying with your best friends.....

We will be happy to welcome you and help you!
We are located in Thessaloniki's centre, so free parking is difficult but also possible to find. You can always drive around a bit and if you do not manage to find some space, there is a private parking place right across the street from the hotel, which costs 8,00€ per day (day of check out until 13:00, +1€ per hour after that) for all our guests. The parking’s name is KARAVAN SARAI, the exact address is Ioustinianou 6 and its operation hours are MO-TH 07:00-23:00, FR-SA 07:00-03:00, SU 08:00-23:00. All you have to do is inform them that you are staying at the Caravan (no reservation needed, there is ALWAYS reserved space for our guests).

You can take a taxi directly from the airport, or you can make your own arrangements directly with us upon reserving, at the cost of 25,00€.
The alternative is to take bus number 78 from outside the airport building, which takes up to 30 minutes waiting. You should get off at Aristotelous Square (or Platia aristotelous as you will hear it in Greek) and walk 7-9 minutes to our place!
“ΠΛΑΤΕΙA ΑΡΙΣΤΟΤΕΛΟΥΣ” is the name of the stop spelled in Greek, in case you need to show it to someone. You could also ask the bus driver, however there is a speaker phone that announces each stop. The cost is 2 € per person and there is a machine to buy the ticket from inside the bus.
