Hotel is close to the train station and the harbour.
Some staff were helpful, others less so.
Even though the hotel was apparently recently renovated, it gives the feeling of being run-down - there were holes in the bathroom floor towel, the fittings on the shower pipes were loose, the toilet was installed skew with the toilet paper holder not properly fixed and hanging skew. The fitting for the hand shower was at waist height, meaning the only way to get a proper shower was to hold it above your head with one hand.
Wall fixtures in the bedroom were fitted skew with screws sometimes only screwed in half way.
Breakfast was average at best.

Two nights solo stay here, chosen because of its ease of access to the train station.
Over all it did its job, cost €92, got a very small room, small bed, minute bathroom, and very basic almost meat free breakfast.
It is a little isolated from good food options.

The hotel was better than average 3star hotels. Our room (double room) was a little small but ok, seemed recently rennovated.
The stuff was extremely helpful with everything we needed.
The breakfast was good enough.
The hotel is great if you have car and are able to move easily from place to place.
If you visit Thessaloniki for fun and vacation, maybe you should consider choosing another area, closer to the city center.
The location of Anessis hotel is convenient if you want to drive outside the city, or if you have business in the Court of Justice, however you have to walk about 15 minutes to go to Aristotelous square.

The staff was really nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and quiet. They gave us an upgrade for free. Although quite a long walk to the center. The breakfast was classic but good. We really enjoyed our stay there and were happy with the accommodation.

Stayed for 1 night. The hotel is very good and inexpensive price. 15 minutes walk to the central square of Aristotle.
Breakfast is decent, but no frills. Hot scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh pastries, dairy products.
Opposite the hotel - police department. In the morning it was noisy.
The lower part of the city is very dirty, a lot of uncleared garbage dumps. The upper part of the city made a good impression, very few people, and more cleanly.
Very helpful staff navigate the city, nearby the train station if going on to Greece by train.

Very easy to access and very close to Aristotelous square!
Nevertheless, the room was quite smelly and not so comfortable.
The staff was not so experienced, but at the end everything was fine.
Generally, the price of the room was more than it actually deserved...

The hotel was in general alright, with very friendly staff. It is located some 10 minutes walk from the Thessaloniki port and the seaside. The air conditioner and the fridge worked well and the size of triple bed room was enough (2 adults and 2 children, 5 years old.) .
The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was okay, with some shampoo and shower gel. The towels were changed every day. The selection of the breakfast was limited, but the quality was fair enough. Cleaness was okay, however slippers are always recommeneded.

Not long after our check-in, ants have appeared almost everywhere. We were given immediately another room. Later during our stay we have noticed some small ants here as well. The wifi code experies in every two days and can be connected only 2 devices. In case of more devices, you need to have more codes. Don't forget to ask for them.

All in all, a fair hotel, for a fair price.

We stayed here one night. We had a budget double room, but there was really nothing budget about it. It was clean and comfortable, although the shower head had to be held in your hand.

WiFi and cable tv were good. Breakfast was a lovely buffet.

The hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the train station and about a 15 minute walk into the city centre.

Recommended hotel that was excellent value for money.

Small, dirty, stinky, old, and noisy room. The pictures of the room on the website are way better than they actually look. Breakfast was quite disgusting, served in a cellar without window. All this for 60€. Never again!
