I have no complaints about my stay at Pella Hotel! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are inexpensive but clean. You can easily walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront from the hotel, which is awesome. The only complaint I have is that the walls are very thin, so you can hear any noisy neighbors, which I unfortunately had 2 of :(. Aside from that, Pella is a bargain stay in Thessaloniki!
I visited the hotel in March 2020 and stayed for one night. As I was looking for a budget hotel I choose Pella, because of its central location. Overall my experience was good and I have to say it was relatively good value for the money. As I was not expecting something special I won't mention the size and the furniture in the room, but I have to say the bath was really tight. Wi-Fi was fair and I had not problems connecting. The people working on the front desk are helpful, when approached. The location is more then perfect. Now the bed thing about the hotel is that you can hear what is going on in the near rooms and it is somewhat annoying and disturbing. I had the feeling, that the hotel isn't very safe with all the screaming and yelling all around my room. Overall, if you don't have a lot of money and want to stay in a central hotel, this hotel is not a bad choice. I will give 4 stars, because of the location and prices. …
My room only had a double bed, glad my husband couldn't stay. You couldn't open the door completely as it banged against the bed. The shower was so small I doubt my hubby could have got into it. I had a balcony but you had to climb up to it and then there was no chairs to sit out there. The one in the room was too large to get out there. The view wasnt much either. The area was run down and did not look safe but I have no evidence to say it wasn't. It's only saving grace was it was close to everything down town and was very clean, even if the towels and sheets were a bit ragged in places.
I brought a group to this hotel. No only are the rooms old and poory provisioned. The air conditioning works but no one has any control over the temperature, the fan speed, nothing. They refuse to provide remote controls for the individual rooms. I will never stay here again, never recommend it to any of the many people I know who come to Thessaloniki.
One thing I liked about the hotel is the breakfast, although you had to pay €3, it was really worth it! The rooms are decent size, not too small or too big. Its about a 20 min walk to Aristoteles square and the harbour. One thing is that the shower is really small, but with the price you pay it is expected. Overall a nice stay! Will stay there again!
A convenient hotel that I have used about three times. Always helpful, clean and tidy. My only grouse is the way in which it is difficult to book well in advance. At the time of posting bookings are not open for October, which is frustrating as my next visit to the hotel will start on 30 September when a group visit ends.
Average commodity, average in taste but with lot of options breakfast. small rooms even smaller toilets and bathrooms. Comprising with the price the equation works. A lot of paid parking lots nearby. Well connected to all center locations.
Great location, friendly staff, it was my first time in greece and I really enjoyed my stay there , they gave me a useful map , I stayed in a single room the Wifi was good , can't find anything bad about this hotel
I desperately needed a room for a one night stay during the expo. As it has been a last minute booking, I did not really know what to expect, since all well known hotels were already fully booked. All in all, it's clean, cosy and offers a decent stay for an unmatched price. If they could only do something with the noise coming from the corridor...
we visited the hotel this weekend.it is situated very close to the city centre.only a 5-10 minutes walk to Aristotelous square.the room was cheap adequate for 3 people stay warm and quiet.the breakfast was priced 3 euro per person and was very good for the price.the only minus i could find was the parking.it is impossible to find parking spot in the nearby area.we arrived at saturday noon and had to park within 35-40 min walk away.to sum up:cheap, close to center, warm, parking is a problem, suitable for a short stay.
