Elegant, excellent hotel to downtown of Thessaloniki with wonderful outstanding view above the coast road. The size of room (single) was ok, but for two people is small. The room and bathroom was elegant, clean and modern. The breakfast was plenty and very good on the 7th floor with marvelous view

This hotel has a wonderful rooftop restaurant, extremely pleasant staff, great location, good furniture and room designs. Why didn't they install sound-proof windows? Our rooms certainly needed them, all three times we stayed there.

I have stayed twice in the Electra Palace. The hotel is probably is the best located in Thessaloniki as it is right in the heart of things and great for both business and leisure travel. The building is lovely and has a fantastically situated restaurant / bar on the roof terrace. The food is very average and not cheap but...

Hi, it was my first visit to Thessaloniki. I could not have asked for a better location. 15 min walk to most museums, live outdoor music. A wide choice of restaurants, bars, live entertainment. A memorable visit. Hotel was spotless, breakfast was excellent. front desk was curteous. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Nice hotel right in the heart of the city. With gorgeous sea view. Not far away from shopping center, bars and restaurants The top of all was the bar-restaurant on the roof garden of the hotel!!! If would like to try traditional greek kitchen visit the place called "ladadika", not far away from the hotel.

Grand hotel, sweeping entrance, marble staircase, lovely hallways. The top gems were the panoramic dining area on 7th floor and the lovely staff in the spa, treatments good and wonderful. The room was good, located on 5th floor at the back, facing internally. This worked out as if we opened the balcony door for air, the noise was bearable to...

Beautiful hotel with an excellent and helpfull staff. Rooftop dining is very nice indeed! But, it is very small. You can walk along the waters edge or through the maze of streets and shops surrounding you.

The hotel is landmark in the city but it is a little bit old, especially the rooms. Who love historical hotels with tradition good choice. Public area is also old but in very good condition and restaurant on the top floor is best place in hotel.

The location is fantastic, could not have picked a better place if you do not want to walk alot. Close to shops, restaurants and cafe's. The coffee shop on top floor with nice views. The hotel needs updating , the noise from outside could be a problem if your room faces to the stree.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Majestic: this word is not an overstatement when it comes to the Electra Palace hotel in Thessaloniki. Built in one of the most impressive city squares of Greece, Aristotelous Sq., facing the endless sea of the Thermaikos Gulf, its architecture at once imposing and noble, it is one of the city's architectural gems. Inside the hotel's byzantine-inspired exterior, hides a neoclassical heart: wood paneling, marble inlay and wooden floors, plush carpets, cabriole and chesterfield sofas, ornate furniture, luxurious details, generous amenities and, of course, breathtaking views: on a clear day one can easily see as far as mount Olympus across the gulf. Beneath the Electra Palace Thessaloniki's windows and balconies, lies the lively center of a vibrant city: Aristotelous Square. In between city square and mighty mountain, the expansive horizon, the endless blue of the sea. Right in the heart of city, the Electra Palace Thessaloniki is ideally located whether you are in town for business or pleasure: within walking distance from the shopping district, the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center, most major monuments, museums and sites, the Ladadika area and right across from Olympion cinema that hosts the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, it is the place to stay when meeting with business partners, attending trade shows, enjoying the city's rich cultural scene or exploring its nightlife. Featuring comfortable, well equipped rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, a gym and spa, a wonderful restaurant on the top floor, and the renowned Electra Hotels and Resorts service, it is also the par excellence place to unwind and relax, enjoying unparalleled views and the hospitality you deserve. ... more   less
