We loved everything! The location couldn't be bettered. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was kept spotlessly clean, had ample storage and the bed was very comfortable. There was a rich choice at breakfast on the roof terrace with a magnificent view of the square and the gulf. We enjoyed an evening meal there too which was...

We stopped here Monday to Friday on business, the hotel is in a wonderful central location. The staff are all so friendly and always offer great service from serving breakfast to serving a coffee on the roof terrace. The rooms are to a good clean standard with housekeeping everyday, with the beds being really comfortable which gives you a good...

We stayed in this hotel as part of the group tour in May 2017. It's located in a very touristy area where pickpockets can blend as hotel's guests. The room was outdated and dusty. Some paintings on the wall of the bedroom were a bit scary. Bathroom was very small and slippery. Breakfast was standard, but the view from the...

Location is within walking distance of all the major sights and it's within 5 to 10 minutes of absolutely loads of cafes, bars and restaurants along the sea front and in the Ladadika district. Staff in the hotel are courteous and helpful and the service is great. I recommend paying for a sea view room as there's lots to see....

Everything was great, the room, the service, and the staff. We paid for a room with a sea view. It was on the top floor and was awesome! The only downside was that the square below was very busy and loud most of the time we were there.

Visited the Electra Palace for 3 fabulous days. The room was great, a good size and very clean. All the staff were both friendly and very professional. The roof top bar where breakfast is served has fantastic views over the Square below and sea. The bar also serves food and drinks throughout the day and evening and is a great...

I had a very pleasant dinner at the rooftop restaurant of this hotel in Thessaloniki main square. It is a beautiful scenery overseeing the coastline. The food was delicious as the wine. I suggest to taste their lamb cooked in low-temperature which I never tasted so good anywhere. The Greek Pinot Noir wine had nothing to envy to the Bourgogne....

Great place to go for 5 days, excellent hotel in perfect position. The room was excellent with fantastic views of the Thermaic Gulf, Mount Olympus and Aristotle Square. The dining room on the top floor is in a perfect position and the staff are all extremely friendly and very helpful. Lots of bars and restaurants just outside the door and...

This hotel has all you would expect in a 5 star hotel. If possible, book a corner suite with a view of the sea and the square. The living room part of the suite is very comfortable. If time permits, have a massage in the spa where the service is excellent. The buffet breakfast is very good. To my surprise,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Majestic: this word is not an overstatement when it comes to the Electra Palace hotel in Thessaloniki. Built in one of the most impressive city squares of Greece, Aristotelous Sq., facing the endless sea of the Thermaikos Gulf, its architecture at once imposing and noble, it is one of the city's architectural gems. Inside the hotel's byzantine-inspired exterior, hides a neoclassical heart: wood paneling, marble inlay and wooden floors, plush carpets, cabriole and chesterfield sofas, ornate furniture, luxurious details, generous amenities and, of course, breathtaking views: on a clear day one can easily see as far as mount Olympus across the gulf. Beneath the Electra Palace Thessaloniki's windows and balconies, lies the lively center of a vibrant city: Aristotelous Square. In between city square and mighty mountain, the expansive horizon, the endless blue of the sea. Right in the heart of city, the Electra Palace Thessaloniki is ideally located whether you are in town for business or pleasure: within walking distance from the shopping district, the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center, most major monuments, museums and sites, the Ladadika area and right across from Olympion cinema that hosts the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, it is the place to stay when meeting with business partners, attending trade shows, enjoying the city's rich cultural scene or exploring its nightlife. Featuring comfortable, well equipped rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, a gym and spa, a wonderful restaurant on the top floor, and the renowned Electra Hotels and Resorts service, it is also the par excellence place to unwind and relax, enjoying unparalleled views and the hospitality you deserve. ... more   less
