Good location, helpful staff at the reception, clean rooms. All you need is available in the room. Parking in a short distance, secure place. Breakfast could be better; we didn’t like the presentation, taste, sorts. Better to book only the room.

After last year's experience, we have reserved a stay this year at the Colors Urban Hotel again. Very good location. Rooms facing the museum are calm and quiet (this is MUST, otherwise you won't sleep, as Tsimiski Street is very busy. Yet this year's experience was very "different". They refurbish a part of the hotel, accessed from the entrance without receptionists, with open entry from the street. Works are still on-going. Very late check-in because of an unprepared room. Check-in a not properly clean, very low ceiling room. Smelly bathroom and toilet(!!!!). Noise overnight because of the plastic cover on the balcony (!!!!). Moisture on the walls. Failed negotiation with partly friendly staff at reception. I wouldn’t recommend this property, mostly because of unprofessional attitude of the stuff. However, if you want to stay here, avoid 4th floor rooms.

Spent a weekend at the Colors Urban in one of the Partial Sea View Rooms, with breakfast. The hotel has an excellent location a few blocks from Aristoteleos Sq with great shopping and eating options at its doorstep. It's literally next to the Ladadika district with all the cool bars and tavernas / restaurants. The hotel also has a great cafe / bar which is open all day. Breakfast was served buffet style with excellent hot and cold options. It's 10 Euros if not included in your rate but well worth it. There is a also a separate brunch, lunch and dinner menu. Think it's called The Garden Bar and it has a website with the menus and photos. It was packed with locals when I had lunch on Saturday. Hotel guests get a discount. The room was superb with light infiltrating the space creating a feeling of calm as I crashed on the queen size bed after the flight. Bed was comfy with good quality linen and 4 fluffy pillows. The aircon worked well too and cooled the room fast despite the sunlight and 36C heat outside. The large windows open onto a small balcony but not sure the balcony is for use. Looked nice though and quite Parisian. The bathroom is modern with a walk in waterfall shower and a huge designer sink and mirror. No bath in my room (which was fine by me as I prefer showers). Shampoo / body wash are provided as is a hair dryer. The towels were on the bed with welcome chocolates on top which is a nice gesture. Bathrobes are also provided but I didn't use them. The rooms have sealed windows but some noise does make it in. I personally liked this as it reminded me I was in the middle of a city. Ear plugs are provided but I didn't need to use them but it was a nice gesture. There is a small desk with enough space for a laptop. Not a huge work space but it's there if you need it with lots of power sockets nearby. There is also a safe. The room is actually a nice space to relax. The mini-bar had reasonably priced soft drinks and wine and snacks and you can ask for ice from the cafe/bar downstairs. I chilled for an hour with an iced drink on one of the big armchairs looking out the window covered in sunlight. The TV has local and international channels. It's moveable so that it can be watched from both the bed and armchairs. The hotel has a great aura. It's in a historic building but recently renovated and it feels like you're not in a generic business hotel bit somewhere with personality. The lobby is small but there is a couch if you need to wait for a cab or someone. I guess this is a limitation of the old building. The staff are all super friendly, both at the reception and the cafe. There was a great relaxed vibe on arrival which stayed during my stay and I was sad to leave. I highly recommend Colors Urban in Thessaloniki. Superb value at less than 90 Euros per night in July which is great for this quality. Will be back soon I hope!

Urban hotel in center town. The rooms are very clean. The staff is friendly. The only complaint is the garage, it is close, but not close enoughwuth suitcases. Breakfast is excellent. We have double bunk bed, it is very interesting. There is noise during the night from the street, but you are in the down town. Church bells are heard early in the morning.

My family came to Thessaloniki on our way to Thassos and booked with Colors. We had 11 people ages 10-80 years, and Colors accommodated all! Rooms were chic, beds super plush, great views of the city. The restaurant was great and the included breakfast buffet was beautiful! Super yummy. But what made Colors the best experience were the warm, welcoming, and helpful staff everywhere, from the front desk to the restaurant to the cleaning crew. Would stay again in a heartbeat and even though Thessaloniki was just a stop on our way to the islands in the north, Colors was a highlight of the trip!

Really enjoyed staying at Colors with our family (two kids at 9 and 11). Very helpful staff, nice and stylish room, the garden bar was super nice (we used it for breakfast and latenight drink). The hotel is situated close to good restaurants and museums. The price was fair.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Colors and highly recommend this hotel. I was visiting Thessaloniki for a vacation and special event, so I stayed for an entire week. I could not have asked for a better home away from home while on my trip as a solo traveler. The staff, including at the front desk as well as The Garden Bar (where breakfast is also served), were so kind and welcoming. The hotel has a beautiful design and an incredible location, walking distance to all of the city’s attractions and districts. You can go shopping on the Main Street, cross the street to Ladadika area for great food/chilling/dancing, walk to Aristotelous square and the port, stroll alongside the water, grab a coffee or ice cream (Freggio was my fave) at any of the water front cafes. There are several nice museums around too! The hotel staff helped me make arrangements for day tours on my free days, and I had some of the best experiences - including the hop on hop off bus and the Mount Olympus day trip. Most notably, I had a misunderstanding with my check out date and was away on my day tour (with my phone on airplane mode to preserve battery). The hotel was unable to get a hold of me and I only found out late in the afternoon I had accidentally booked one less night than planned. They quickly realized I will not be checking out that day and went above and beyond to get me a reservation despite being booked. I was so grateful for their warmth and kindness. Uploaded are some photos of breakfast at the Garden Bar as well as the two beautiful rooms I stayed in. I had the street view for the majority of my stay and absolutely loved it. When my trip was over I was quite sad to leave; I felt so much love from the staff here. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Thessaloniki. Much love!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Colors Urban Hotel. The reception staff were super friendly, knowledgeable about the city and were equipped and ready with so many tips and recommendations for around the city. The reception staff - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our room was clean, felt newly renovated and the bathroom was our favourite part of the room. We had a big room with a two story bed. I wouldn't recommend this to people with small children as the bed is quite high but very tempting for children to climb up and down. Even for our 6 year old who is extremely agile and athletic, we were a bit worried. For the rooms - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We paid 10€/adult for breakfast. It was an okay spread. Nothing to write home about. The staff who greeted us at the door took our hotel room number and that was that. She did not show us to the table or told us anything about the buffet (for e.g. that the first coffee is on the house, and you pay for the next coffees). Maybe it was too earlt for her but she didnt look to pleased to be working. At the buffet, there were menus listing what was available. That was good information. For the breakfast and breakfast room staff - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ We ordered room service. Two cocktails. They were good. Strong. However it wasnt made clear that there was a 2€ Room Service Fee. Would be nice to have a little heads up on the menu or something. It was okay at the end because we were gonna tip the server 2€ anyway. Server was nice, friendly and polite. We also met one in the reception who was very friendly and gave us loads of tips and fussed over our children :) for the bar staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The only truly horrible experience we had was the parking! There was no where legal to stop the car to unload our bags and our three young children. It was really stressful! Our car had to be parked in a Park House somewhere far away from the hotel (10 mins walk). And reloading the car with our luggage and children was more nightmarish than unloading. Later on the reception staff member told us that we could stop right in front of the hotel for 5 minutes. But this was not communicated before, although i specifically asked about parking on the phone. The answer was: "just come to the hotel, check-in and we will let you know how to park the car." We were then told we had to pay extra for parking, which was also not communicated during booking. Our tip is: if you'd like to stay in this hotel, come with public transport or taxi. It took my husband an hour to go pick up the car during check-out, in part it was due to some miscommunication between the front desk and the Park House staff. So plan loads of time if you have a flight to catch. And our recommendation to the hotel is to the parking situation clearer and more transparent. on the website - where to park during check-in, to load and unload luggage, that they have a partnership with a Park House, the cost per day and how to get to and fro (walking time etc.) For the convenience of coming with a car - ⭐️⭐️

The position of the hotel is ideal as it is on Tsimiski street that is full of shops, restaurants and right by the sea. The people at the reception and breakfast area are very polite and our room was perfectly clean.
