I chose this hotel because it is close to the Venizelos statue and most tours start there, as well as for the good overall package. I would not be disappointed. Check-in was straightforward and the room was very clean. The wifi was good and the air conditioning well maintained(!) as well as pleasantly functional. Breakfast is selected by disposable menu (07-11 a.m.). You have the choice of different dishes (Different Pies, greek beakfast, Toast sandwiches) that are selected. In addition, you get served hot drinks or freshly squeezed juices. The food comes quickly and the staff is very friendly. The journey from the airport is very uncomplicated. The hotel offers a pick-up service for 25€. If you have just a backpack/trolley, you can also take the bus from the airport (01X) to Kolomvou. Overall, a very pleasant stay, which could be seen on the faces of other guests.…
This is a very nice, clean and comfy hotel. The staff was polite, friendly and of great help. The hotel is centrally located and it's easy to get around the city center. Due to our late flight, they kept our luggage after the check out and also let us use the facilities until our departure. It's highly recommended!
Very good experience , largely due to wonderful staff. Originally slightly disappointed in reception and room - not luxurious as I experienced in other boutique hotels— but had all necessities. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise. Loved the spinach pies, borgatas ( spelling them wrong) and the yogurt( how can I go back to supermarket yogurt - even Whole Foods does not come close).
My wife and I stayed 3 nights, arriving by rental car at 3PM and double parked in front. The English speaking receptionist made the prepaid check in quickly, providing WIFI, key card and instructions for parking. After circling the block to park, we returned with the car slip to pay(30 E) at the hotel and took the elevator to the 2nd floor. Room #206 was nice sized, wood floored with a hanging bar with 7 hangers over low table, nice TV with excellent reception of international channels (BBC and some movies in English on EPT 2 & Open Beyond), wall shelf with refer below, a comfortable queen, fully outfitted bathroom with good hot water, separate toilet and tile shower. An insulated door opened to a nice balcony with a table and 2 chairs. The secure room WIFI was excellent, 3 room outlets, nice lighting and remote controlled AC/heat but no towel bars or desk. The 7 AM breakfast was a bit quirky ordering by completing an item sheet. The meal was soon presented in their lobby dining area; fresh OJ, muesli with yogurt/milk, breads with jam, hard boiled egg, spinach roll, toasted ham & cheese and choices of teas/coffees. This is a clean, quiet 20 room hotel renovated in 2018 that offers a quality stay near the city center.…
We visited Thessaloniki for the 2022 Helexpo Cup and chose the Blue Bottle Boutique Hotel as our base for the weekend. The hotel has great character, the rooms are nice, clean and modern + the shower was super powerful. The breakfast was wonderful - we really liked the cheese and spinach pie. The guys on reception helped with all our transport needs - we couldn't ask for more really!
From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff aimed to help and please. Our room was relatively large room with fun furnishings, a balcony and lots of light. The rooms and common areas are immaculately clean. The lounge has fun decor, which we enjoyed in the afternoons. They offer a delicious and ample breakfast served with a smile. Again, the front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.
A very nice and welcoming staff and venue, we got here very early in the morning and had breakfast, it was very very good food and just 10 euros per person, all you can eat! I strongly recommend you visit blue bottle hotels! We will be here again for sure! Thank you
I was wondering whether this place would live up to its good reviews, and for me, it did overall. Mainly because it's a nice, clean, well run mid-range hotel in a very central location. They have a parking lot you can use very close on the same block (but beware you will have to drag your suitcases up a very steep ramp.) First impressions walking into the reception are actually not that great. It's a small, simple place with a young staff, very informal and it looked at first seemed more like a hostel than a boutique hotel. I was in fact a bit unsure of my decision to stay here when I walked in. But that soon changed. The room was small but practical, with ample towels and pretty good toiletries, comfortable be, linens and pillows and a heating/cooling system that was quiet and effective. Bathroom is a bit hard to use, with a tiny sink in the room between the shower and toilet room, and no shelf space. It was relatively quiet with no noise from the street, though the corridors do carry sound. Best thing about this place is definitely the location though, easy walk to Ladadika where all the restaurants are and Aristotelous Square. Second best thing was the breakfast. They give you a menu the night before and you can tick off as much as you like, and they serve it to you in a convenient and COVID-safe individual platter. I really appreciated this and the food was excellent, really good for a three-star hotel. Really enjoyed the Thessaloniki style sesame bagels and the thick, freshly squeezed orange juice. Overall I think this was an excellent value hotel in a central location.…
Nice experience, perhaps sound isolation can be improved, from street and from floors above. Although street itself is not noisy, which is good. We missed a kettle in the room.Bed and shower concept works in this case with a Big confortable bed and nice spacious shower. However not much place for cloths storage, in fact there is no wardrobe, just some hangers. Good attention, only they forgot we asked for gluten free breakfast on the first day and did not hace GF bread...but we managed to hace a nice brekfast through. The lady in the breakfast was very helpful.
we stay at blue bottle for 4 nights, the locatin is great and easy to walk around. the rooms are beautifully done, very clean, with very comfortable bed plus an amazing shower the breakfast is greek style with a twist and was the a very nice day starter and most of all the staff and all of them were just great, nice and very helpfull, always with a smile on, when we will be back in Thessaloniki, sure we know where to go
