We came for the new Eco Suites complex which are part of the older Despotiko hotel. First of all, the Eco Suite was as expected very nice and offered a unique design experience. The attention to details were remarkable. From a fully equipped kitchen to after sun lotion and mosquito repellent, all was provided. We immediately felt like home. The Tristinika beach is in close 1 min vicinity and was never crowded. Beach chairs, sun umbrellas, a shower and changing rooms were provided for free. There is also service provided by the hotel bar for food and drinks. The beach is after much travel to see the other beaches nearby very good, and we came there every day. The Despotiko hotel complex feels not very much attached to the premium product offered by eco Suites. The buildings of the older hotel look not well managed, and more than a paint job is needed. We haven’t seen any rooms, but the buildings itself look not very inviting. Both hotels attract families which could mean more noise by children playing. There is a nursery, but I believe due to Covid 19 they were closed. We had booked a half board accommodation which included breakfast and dinner. The food was the biggest disappointment of our trip. There was a buffet offered for both meals, which a waiter would serve you upon your request. The food was at best mediocre and uninspired. There were usually 4-5 different options and salad and deserts. Often the meals were not even hot, and at one occasion I could only ask myself who would serve simmered liver to a family themed hotel audience. We ended up not going to the dinner and visited nearby tavernas in order to find acceptable food. This is unfortunate as food in an vacation plays a vital role to the overall experience. The location of the hotel with limited dinning options nearby will bring many frustrated guests to this hotel if they book the half board option. There should also be a distinctive line between Despotiko hotel food and Eco Suites food, an a la carte and fresh cooking for these travelers would improve the experience significantly. Summary + Eco Suites: great design, offer an genuine relaxation Staff: very friendly and always looking out for you Beach : direct access, clean and offer hotel facilities like showers and food and drink services Pools: very nice pools, and bar service - Despotiko Hotel: appearance of the buildings show a lack of maintenance F&B: mediocre food, would not recommend half board offered by the hotel

Great location, isolated from nearby cities, has its own beach and two swimming pools. Always quiet but family friendly atmosphere at all times (i was there with my wife, two kids and a baby 2months old). Food was very fresh and tasty, nice variety. Staff made our stay great. Always smiling and friendly staff (bar, reception, cooks, all of them were just great). We think we found THE spot for our future vacations :)

What happens when there is an in-house architect taking care of his family hotel.. A little paradise is born. My family and I spent few days in this hotel in June with another couple and their kids. We had a wonderful time! The first pleasant surprise happened when after one night we were upgraded into the ECO suites which are.. superb! Every single detail of the suites have obviously been well thought out by Alexandros, the charming architect, all the way to having an Espresso machine in each of them! The experience is luscious like the garden below and the swimming pools in it. The beach is only 50 metres away and is sandy and pleasant. The staff is nice, discreet and professional starting with the manager (Eleni?). All in all a lovely stay and experience, so surely recommended! We hope to be back there soon!

Visited this place with my wife. We booked online based on the pictures. The place is hidden and has a lot of potential as a secluded place for peace and quiet. Eco suites are perfectly built and the restaurant area is very nice. All other facilities are old, dirty and not organized/not in function. The place was full of small kids running all the time 7AM till 12PM so no possibility of a calm cocktail time with your partner and relax. Would recoomend tot he owners to make this place Adults only and invest some more in facilities, food choices and spa options. I would pay double price if this would be available.

Good place with modern and stylish EcoSuites. We were the only guests in the hotel for the first four days. We get an upgrade to a Grand EcoSuite. We loved the Suite - modern, stylish and intelligent design!! Big thanks to Feliz, he is doing a very good job! + EcoSuits (i think the old rooms are not that nice) + Beach (direct beach entrance) + Food (we had every evening a different traditional meal) + Pool + Staff We had a beautiful week! Many thanks!!!
