NUMBER OF ROOMS
We arrived at Hotel Kalypso, tired after a 13 hour drive. We were greeted with a large smile and with beautiful words. The rooms are large enough and the cleanliness is impeccable. Every day it is cleaned in the room, every 2 days it changes sheets and towels. At the reception, for free, there are beach umbrellas and other items you need at the beach. The staff is friendly and responds immediately to any requests we have. They serve breakfast, in a wonderful garden. The hotel is surrounded by plants, flowers, trees. In full season, the price is 80 eur / room with 7 eur / person for breakfast. If you are looking for a hotel comfortable, clean with friendly people, hotel Kalypso is the right choice.
In the heart of Agios Nikitas , with beautiful views of the Ionian Sea, this hotel provided us with everything we dreamed of . The service is perfect, everything is clean , very quiet, workers are very friendly We come again
We had a good times there. There is very friendly staff. Unfortunatelly, we wasn´t able to change the room cause beside was couple with 9month old child and 2,5 years old child. That was really silly from them to go there in the maximum temperature period. Childrens were annoying all time and very noisy at 5-6am every day. But hotel has reserved some rooms just for your travel agency, so you can´t move to another place. Accomodation was ok, it´s enough - small kitchen with some stuffs and small shower. Everything was clean and ok. Just between balcoons is empty space so you have to divide it by some towel. We have used cover from bed. We didn´t want to eat breakfast with another peoples in the morning in the balcoon. In the Milos, there were many peoples, like in city beach, so we have rent a car and went to another southern beaches.…
The hotel is clean, like other hotels in this category is nothing special but when I came to Greece I came because of great beaches, food... The location is perfect. Room is clean with a small TV, refrigerator and cooking appliance. Near are couple of mini supermarkets, scooter rentals the to Milos beach, a boat to Milos beach, couple of km from Kathisma beach and so on. There is a plenty of bars and restaurants. The staff is very kindly.
Let me start off by saying that this is by no means a deluxe location or anything pretentious for that matter. Let me start with the minuses, but don't stop reading until you hit the pluses: - bathroom has a very poor ventilation system which can't handle a basic shower, thus making the whole room moist once you open the door - same breakfast everyday, consisting of coffee/tea, some bread/butter/jelly, Greek yogurt with honey, and some cheddar cheese and some (bad quality) meat; this may sound like a feast, and everything is good (except the meat), and it's very good the first and second day, but you quickly get tired of it - can't really complain though, considering the price payed Now to the pluses: - I payed 136 EUR for 7 nights, with breakfast included, that comes at roughly 20 EUR per day, which is VERY hard to beat - the rooms are dated but very clean, and the cleaning ladies visit daily - room had a fridge (good for drinks) and A/C which was a very good help in removing the after-shower moistness - I actually slept like a rock in all the nights, so the beds/mattresses were lovely - the ladies at the reception have been absolute dolls for the whole duration of the stay, especially the one who booked us in and gave us sea view rooms Overall for accommodation only I'd give it 3 stars, but considering the price and lovely staff I'll go with 4.…
