We stayed here for 6 nights with family ( 2 small kids). The guest house is very comfortable, cozy and nice designed. In front of the appartment there is a small garden. There are all necessary facilities inside. If you are hungry you can have a very tasty food at John's Eatery which is just next door. We liked the place very much.

Great for couples with no children. Very close to Egremni and Porto Katsiki, however you really need a car. Rooms are comfortable and some of the appartments offer great views of the sea. Good price to quality ratio. Parking can be a bit tricky sometimes, but that would be a minor issue compared to the positives this place offers.

My girlfriend and me were looking for a place somewhere far away from the touristic hotspots. Google maps showed us Athani and via a second source of information, a german guy running a website with informations about "travelling offside the touristic paths" in greece, we found those apartments. On our day of arrival, May, 9th at ~22:00 we knew that it was the right decision - IF you love it quiet and original. we drove through Athani and all noise came from one tavern, Lefkatas, and some shepard dogs, sheeps, insects and night birds. The mother of the owner, a nice woman who we'd love to have talked to more (but our language knowledge was too limited) showed us to our rooms and we were welcomed by a well equipped apartment on the second floor with a fantastic view on the sea. The great west coast beaches are not far away, I reccomend hikng boots, some litres of water and a walk to Egremni, which by far was our favourite beach. Several taverns are reachable by foot, we only visited the Lefkatas tavern because the other ones were still closed. Parking is no problem, and with a rented car, Athani is a great spot to start daily tours to discover the island. Especially because you drive anti-cyclic :-) In the morning you drive north while most tourists to the beaches trive south - in the evening when yo uget home, it is the other way round. The apartments are equipped with all neccessary kitchen equipment, a modern and silent fridge + freezer. There's a digning, living and sleeping area and a balcony or garden area with chairs and a table to enjoy the evenings and awesome sunsets. Internet is also available, both WLAN or ethernet. Towels, beach-towels, toiletpaper etc. is included. Spiros or his mother are around each day so it is no problem to get stuff if needed. Spiros is also very helpful and giving his best to satisfy his guests. He's fluent in english so there is no communication problem and also a great source for information about Lefkada since he's grown up there. And it's just nice to talk with him about this and that :-) If we return to Lefkada another year we will most certainly stay at this location again.

Found this place on Google Maps while trying to locate somewhere close to Porto Katsiki and Egremni Beaches and I am so glad I did. This place was fantastic and probably the best rooms I've stayed in while in Greece for the past four weeks. Everything looked new and was extremely clean and spacious. Well equipped with a proper shower and curtain, hanging lines and pegs for things to dry, couch, plenty of chairs, lovely views from the balcony and a garden that is very picturesque, green and well maintained. It is extremely quiet. There is a new taverna across the road that has just opened that is great as well. Very fresh food and they go out of their way to please you. Ate there three times during my short visit. The only this missing from the room was a shower handle mount above you when you shower, so you don't have to hold the shower head. Other than that this place is absolutely perfect.

We stayed in Porto Katsiki Studios for 3 weeks. We opted for the upstairs studio facing the sea and watched the sheep promenade by every morning. The apartment was fully equipped, clean, tasetfully decorated. The studios are close to Gialos & Egremni beach (if you are fit easily accessible by foot). The famous Porto Katsiki beach is not far. Athani village is less than five minutes away by foot.where you can get all the essentials and there are some fantastic tavernas (especially Panorama). The owner of the studios is Spiro and he is a "top" guy. He tries hard to please you and make your stay unforgettable.
