The location of the hotel is great, although there is no entertainment at the hotel, this did not cause us any problems and made our stay even more relaxing, however if you want entertainment this can easily be reached, within walking distance. The cleaners look after you very well and always make sure your looked after well, the hygiene standards are very good. We felt that we sometimes struggled to find something to eat, but this maybe because they don't cater so much for the British, but again this did not affect us, because there are plenty of places within easy reach where you can get something else to eat, if you don't fancy what is on offer, also the icecream is amazing. For the price you pay to stay at the hotel, I doubt you would manage to find a better place to stay. The pool is lovely and warm and clean and you are right next to the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel, when the owners found out we had just got married they arranged for us to have a hire car for 24 hours, gave us a sea view and a bottle of bubbly,, I can truly assure you that you would have to go a long way, to find people that truly care, like the owners of this hotel
We were told safes unavailable when requesting on our second day as two females we didn’t fancy carrying around passports, all of our money and cards aswell as keys. However this ended up being the case. But we did notice other people using them. We were told how safe it was but we wanted to know our stuff was secure.
Breakfast was lovely, a variety of options available. Lunch was limited but lovely. Salads meats pastas pizza. The same for dinner. We chose to eat out due to lunch and dinner being similar but this was our personal preference. We could have eaten at the hotel should we have wished. Pool area was lovely. Happy with drink selection and self serve so could have as much as you wished.
Great location. Beach right at the end of the road. 5 minute walk from the strip. Lots of bars and restaurants. A trip to Madisons bar is a must!! Sunbeds on the beach are free to customers, only need to buy one drink.
Overall a lovely holiday, would be nice to see staff on reception more often but definitely value for money for what we paid.
I reiterate the reviews from David T and Jo C, I'll try not to repeat them as their reviews are pretty much spot on.
On arrival we expected the usual check in procedure, passports, forms to complete and wristbands as all-inclusive. None of this, just to pay the tourist tax, €24 in CASH as requested!
We were shown to our room, which was OK, pretty basic but was clean. There were two single beds which were pushed together to make a double and a fold up bed, which not needed by us took up a bit of room, but it ended up being a God send......
The beds were very hard and after the first night my partner used the mattress from the fold up bed on top of his mattress which was much better for him.
The food and drinks were as already mentioned. We ended up eating out for lunch and evening meals but had the croissants and toast at breakfast.
On our second night there were huge thunderstorms all night, pretty spectacular to watch. Obviously, this couldn't be helped. Unfortunately, these tripped the electric and water supply to the hotel.
We were without running water for nearly 24 hours!
During this time, we and other guests witnessed a member of staff taking buckets of water from the pool and taking them into the kitchen to wash the pots!!!
Having complained to Love Holidays, they contacted the hotel and we're informed " Due to the power outage we had no running water. The kitchen has an autonomous water supply with a tank, in case of water shortage. Yes, the staff did take water from the pool, of course not to wash the dishes but for using the toilet."
As I say we witnessed the water being tipped into the sink and 5 minutes later the pots being put out for use.
The apartments were predominantly used by Polish holidaymakers with signs in the rooms only in Polish. Whilst there, there were only a handful of other brits.
There was a kettle, fridge and hairdryer in the room. There was no iron or ironing board but fortunately we had taken our travel iron as I could not find out if an iron was available.
The maid came every day while we were there but during the week our towels and bedding were NOT changed, I suppose if we had asked they may have been but to ask for anything seemed to be difficult.
Again, I will say the chef was cheerful but a bit too cheerful at times. He did show a lot of interest in the young lady guests and was always at the all-inclusive drinks!
The hotel was clean and the pool was nice. There were plenty of sunbeds, if a little old.
Overall, if you are looking at booking Sidari and can afford to pay a bit more, then book elsewhere.
On our first day of arrival we arrived at 12:30am and was met by man at reception who gave us a letter saying “ you will be staying in room 301 for tonight” and told us to follow him, he escorted us down the road and then was told our room wasn’t ready so had to stay in the next hotel for the night. When I asked “will our room be ready tomorrow?” He didn’t really respond, I understand issues occur and things happen but it would’ve been nice to be told what was going on. The next day we went back and luckily everything was sorted so got into our room.
The rooms are standard everything we expected but the bathrooms need a major update. Firstly our toilet made a horrible screaming noise after flushing which went on for about 2 minutes then near the end of our stay the sink blocked i spoke to a worker and luckily it was sorted straight away. I mentioned the toilet but was told “no one is available to come” we left it as that as we put up with it from the beginning anyway.
The maids did a great job but would not knock and try to come into our room every morning at 8:30 whilst we were still in bed.. I understand they have to start early but a simple knock would’ve been nice. They also left our door unlocked every time after cleaning, so we would come back half way through the day to re lock it.
Lastly the food, we stayed for 10 nights and probably ate there 1 time. Breakfast the first morning after we arrived said it all… stale hotdog sausages, ham covered in flies and wasps ( never seen so many wasps in my life) and cold beans.
My partner prefers cereal or continental breakfast but only choice was stale croissants or toast.. the drinks were beer (which was flat) vodka or ouzo and brandy, soft drinks (which was flat) and a soup machine ….
During our stay the drink machines went off for more than a day and a guest questioned it and was told it was a power cut yet all the lights and music was still on (couldn’t be bothered to refill them).
There is so much more I could write about this hotel but unfortunately we will not be coming back and my advice for English people wanting to stay here is don’t. The staff are not very welcoming and the only person who tried to make any sort of conversation was the chef.

The pool was nice , previously the steps in the deep end had become loose so they had just removed them . Sun beds old and one broke when we were on it .
Now to the food .... it was shocking . A soup machine ! That resembled dish water or actual water , five trays of salad , lettuce cucumber, onions, tomatoes ( all of which I don't like ) then five trays of inedible food which was spaghetti, potato's, some form of moussaka , more pasta , orzo , we did have Turkey thighs one day and cod the other but it went and there was no more bought out . I only saw moussaka that was Greek and the rest was mishmash trays of leftovers . The previous days uneaten pasta would then be rehashed in a layered dish and had already had 2 days worth of flies on it . Pudding was cubes of jelly ! Or a very nice banana ice cream . Afternoon snacks was dry cake which the flies loved or broken biscuits
Drinks ,,, again drinks machines as there was no staff . Help yourself vodka.brandy and ouzo , white wine/red wine or beer .... that was it . No other spirits , no hint of a cocktail , luckily I like ouzo . We had no water in the hotel for the whole day one day . The chef would constantly go round all the table saying "food good yes "! As I can't lie I said will we be having any lamb at all ? He said he was doing pork the next day but I would have to be quick as it would be gone ! He was quite intimidating , would help himself to the alcohol all day and also took a big interest in young girls .not very professional at all . Good points .. Sidari itself is great , there's plenty of room at the tables and pool as everyone is on the beach and eating out ! Must say Katerina on reception was nice and let us keep our room for €40 . The lady who bought the food out was nice and also Endonna was such a lovely happy girl . It seems like someone always makes sarcastic replies to any slightly negative reviews of this place but all I'll say is photo's and videos don't lie so make your own mind up . But if your british I'd give this one a miss .
Food is poor, very poor and after 1 nights dinner, we decided to go out every evening instead. Breakfasts are edible, just about, but lunches are as per dinner, greasy and sometimes made with leftovers.
Accommodation is poor as well and overall the hotel needs a big update. Horrible smell of sewerage in the bathroom and beds are very, VERY hard. Housekeeping was sketchy at best, went 4 days with nobody coming in until we complained.
I don't want to sound horribly fussy and we are usually quite tolerant but this is a poor hotel. It might seem like a good bargain but spend a few extra quid somewhere else in Sidari and you'll have a cracking holiday.
To be fair, pool is good, they do have air con in your room. Location is also good, a nice walk back from the main strip.
But a good image of this hotel is regularly coming down to breakfast and finding baked beans mixed in with previous evenings carrots as one of the options.

Food is basic and far from comprehensive even at the price paid
The chef needs to go they was too much repetition one dish was presented daily for the duration of our stay getting browner by the day
Excellent location and staff supportive
