Spent 5 days here in early August. Good value for money, nice greek breakfast and food in the restaurant was very good. Restaurant area looks to have been recently refurbished. Rooms firmly 3* so don't expect luxury, they were well appointed but Aircon and fridge barely coped in the heat of August. Pool and pool toilets/shower were excellent and there were plenty of sunbeds. Resort was really quiet with one other restaurant very close by and another about 10 mins walk away so if you want chill this is the place for you. If you want a variety of bars and restaurants this isn't for you. Beach and swimming were great. My wife slipped and hurt her head on our visit and the hotel staff were excellent even running my wife down to the local hospital.

Panas Hotel ticked every box for me. I spent a 9 night stay here. The spot is quite isolated - which I wanted - the hotel restaurant with two other tavernas within striking distance (I was told there was another further up - a 35 min walk uphill - but happy to stay put). The room was lovely with a sea view from the balcony. Daily housekeeping and kept spotlessly clean. Staff were so very helpful and a special mention for Nana who helped with any request or piece of advice. Pool area was lovely with plenty of loungers although I didn't use it as the sea is too inviting. With the hotel being located just off the beach, it was always easy to find a spot and fit in a dip before breakfast too. Breakfast was ample and varied with everything from cereals, yoghurt, honey, breads/toast & jams, pastries, fruit, ham, cheese and coffee on tap. Lunches and evening meals here were lovely and varied menu offers a great selection of light dishes and more substantial ones. The Stifado was a highlight for me, just wonderful and the baklava was, without doubt the best I've ever had. If they have the Orange Pie on the menu, do have some, it was sensational. Nana, her family and the team were great hosts and not to mention great cocktail makers. I hired a car of a few days, just to get out an about but spent most of my time just savouring the tranquility and amazing beach. Taxis are available to visit Argostoli at around 20 Euros each way. I would not hesitate to book again (and will). I would consider this hotel to be ideal for singles (I was travelling alone and felt very comfortable) and couples in particular because of it's isolated location. A stunning little corner of Kefalonia for those who really want to get away from it all. Thank you to Nana, family and team for a truly lovely holiday.

Went here mid September for a quiet sun holiday. Loved the little family owned hotel! The hotel is super close to the little beach that has clear calm water and sand so it's a perfect location! Around 6 the safe takes over so if you want evening sun or sunsets it's not the right place, but the balcony I had in room had lovely morning sun. The hotel even provided umbrellas to shade from the sun which I found thoughtful! The pool also has plenty of sun loungers and shade and the water has minimal chlorine so great go a swim. Internet is not good at all in the rooms (patchy at best) but well in the main dining area and is free. The food was delicious and priced reasonably (less than the restaurant directly by the sea and better) so I mostly had food there twice a day. Worth noting that no shops etc are in walking distance so if you'd want to explore I'd advise renting a car, they have a car park. Went on an excursion that did hotel pic up which made me enjoy the calm. As it's on a hill and there are steps it may be challenging for people with mobility issues.

Beautiful family run boutique hotel. We had 2 rooms in the the new wing which are lovely finished. The beds are very comfortable and the small balcony a bonus. Very clean, fluffy towels. The breakfast was basic but tasty and the restaurant served some lovely food. The local beach, within walking distance to the hotel is stunning and never seemed to crowded. Handy to be able the borrow an umbrella from the hotel. Pool area lovely and always kept clean, never had a issue to get 3 sun lounges together. Short €30 taxi ride to the airport. A couple of other restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the perfect hotel for a quiet, relaxing break. Hiring a car would open up many more possibilities - we didn't on this occasion but if we visit again will explore further. The sandy beach, which is yards from the hotel, is almost deserted in early morning and a swim provides a wonderful start to the day - I was there from around 8 a.m. with fewer than ten other people of varying nationalities. Lots of fish are visible through a mask or if snorkelling. The hotel pool is lovely, with no pressure on sun-loungers and it provides an excellent, novel-reading or sun-bathing environment. The simple rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. All the hotel staff work very hard, everything is spotlessly clean and the food is excellent. The public areas of the hotel itself are more modern, and more beautiful than the photos on this site suggest - sorry I can't provide new ones. Thank you so much to the breakfast staff, whom we didn't manage to say goodbye to, and our lovely waiter who was patient, smiling and helpful. We returned home very well rested with another visit to Kefalonia likely. Highly recommended.

Excellent value break via EasyJet Holidays. Very quiet resort with just one hotel and a couple of bars/restaurants. Beach was very pleasant and the pool area lovely. Staff were very friendly and the food at the hotel was very good. Breakfasts were typically Greek and the yoghurt and honey was excellent. A drinks service around the pool would have been great but no real complaints of note. Rooms were fairly basic but no worse than I'd expect for a 3*. Recommended.

The Panas hotel and family delivered us the most wonderful relaxing holiday. THANK YOU! Location: quiet and remote with gorgeous beaches. We wanted to switch off fully so we didn't hire a car. Over 7 nights we enjoyed the vast delicious menu of traditional greek food- never bored. Brilliant service, cocktails and views. We did venture to Spartia- it is a good uphill walk so good if you are into fitness and want to get a hike in. Rooms are well designed, clean and daily cleaning service. Loved the pool- has a lovely combination of families and couples looking for peace and quality time together.

I can’t speak highly enough of this little gem. We booked Panas as our friends were staying close by. From the minute the taxi dropped us off and meeting Nana we were treated like royalty. The friendliest family and staff you would wish to meet. Beautiful minimalist Superior double room. Fantastic air con which was needed as the temperatures were soo high. Ate there at least once a day with and without our friends who are regular goers to Spartia but had never been to Panas restaurant before. They were also suitably impressed. Food and drink very reasonably priced. Much cheaper than eating in Scotland or England. The only downside is that it is situated on a fairly steep hill so unsuitable for anyone less mobile. If you want a stress free hotel with fantastic pool and beach approx 50 mtrs away then this is the place. Can’t wait to return again !! Thankyou once again to all staff I can’t single anyone out as all brilliant. Ps. Best baklava ever !!!!!!
