My God-father Kosta from Borio Epirus owned this hotel until he passed away back in 1998 - he left the hotel to the local church who owns and runs it - I was born in one of the rooms back in the 50's when it was in it's glory and very well known... Just a little history...

The hotel is in a very good location, the rooms are nice and modern. But even though it was clean, the towels were dirty with make up stains from previous visitors. The stuff was friendly and helpful but the owner was very rude. Breakfast was good. Overall I would say it is expensive for what it has to offer.

Quite reasonable price, good location. Nice view from our room in the second floor. But please don't use the name boutique hotel for such properties. You create high expectations if you do. Room in general clean but dirty and old pillows need to be changed. Bathroom is standard.

The hotel is in city center, a little bit noisy but overall a pleasant experience. The staff tried to be very helpful but they didn't spoke English at all. If you don't want to spend to much money and have a nice stay i definitely recommend it.

I was living in this city so when I had to go again I knew where to stay. I can easily say that this is the best hotel when you consider the price and the location... There is another good hotel which has a better location but 2-3 minutes far from this one and you are paying almost double. Beside... More

We stayed for a night during the New Year's holiday. Indeed the hotel has been rennovated and the room was clean, and so was the bathroom. Room however was small and heating was via a very noisy A/C. Don't have high expectations, but still, it is not that bad as some others reported. The hotel in general is fine, the... More

This is not a 5-star hotel by any means. Having said that it's at the right price, right in the heart of the city. Breakfast is pretty good too, and it has free Wi-Fi. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

Location: It is located in the centre of the city, near shopping areas, cafes and restaurants. Rooms: Poor sound insulation especially for those near to the stairs. Clealines is also poor and most of room's accesories are defective (busted bulbs, loose towels hooks etc.) Hot water is available all the day. Positives are the strong WIFI signal, the Breakfast which... More

It's centrally located, and while the building isn't in the best condition, my room was clean, quiet, well-maintained. Fairly standard for the price. Although the staff don't speak more than a handful of words of English between them, they're polite and friendly. The breakfast though - absolutely outstanding. Choices of cereals, cold meat, cheese, spreads, various kinds of breads and... More

“Ask for a room with a view, only a couple have one. Most of the rooms face the wall! Some of the bigger rooms have a bath rather than just a shower cubicle. It was quite noisy during the night outside the hotel. Don't depend on the wifi working as it is very unstable.”
