Hotel and staff are lovely and room was spacious and very clean

No, there was no kettle in our room - so you might want to take a travel kettle. There was a bottle of water in the fridge when we arrived, but it was never topped up/replaced for the rest of the week - we went out to a local shop to buy water. I think they want you to buy all drinks at the bar/restaurant - expect at breakfast - you can help yourself to tea/coffee but you can't do this any other time of the day. There wasn't even a customary even get a glass of water with your evening meals!
