We stayed here fore a week. The room was small but very sufficient for just 2 people. We had a nice large double bed and a little kitchenette, so we could make our own lunch or late breakfast if we wanted to. We were on the ground floor but it was on the side of the building where not many people pass by so it was really nice, private and quiet. Even though our room was next to the little breakfast area, we were not disturbed at all! Breakfast was amazing! Christine is a lovely lady who made our breakfast fresh every morning, we felt really spoiled. (eggs with feta, pancakes, toast etc. yum!) They charge extra upon arrival for use of the air conditioning and the safe. We did not hesitate since it was 36C-40C outside and we needed the air-conditioning to sleep comfortably. We knew about this before arriving so there was no surprise or discussion. (Eur 50 for both the air-conditioning and safe for a week) The only downside was the toilet. There was no sign anywhere that you should not throw away toilet paper in the toilet, and I guess the people before us did not know either because our toilet was clogged already on day 2. When they fixed it, we were informed not to throw away the toilet paper in the toilet, so we did not do it again. A sign, for people unknown to the area, might be useful. Also there was a leak in one of the water pipes which would sometimes begin to leak even after it was repeatedly fixed. But they were quick to respond, even when we forgot our key in the room. A person was waiting for us in the evening to let us in. No stress. The location is good too, nice and quiet area but still quite close to the town centre. A bit further to the beaches. But there was a pool (I think it belonged to another hotel) nearby where we could swim for the payment of only 2 drinks ^__^…
We spent a week here in the summer of 2013 (mid August). The room/apartement was Ok, nothing more; and that was exactly what we had payed for and therefore was expecting ;-) We did not have aircondition and did not miss it at all; we had the doors to the balcony open all night and I believe that was much more comfortable than any aircondition could provide. The beds were hard, but I have understood that it's common with hard beds (in hotels) in Greece ;-) The balcony (we had room in the first floor) was tranquil in the evenings. We felt it was private although there were many balconys in the apartements in the nabourhood. (I did not spot any insects - and that is important for me; otherwise I would have been "on garde" whenever using the balcony.) The area is quiet even though it is just a few minutes to walk from the center of the town. We truly enjoyed these daily walks in the small streets! There is a big supermarket just down the road with a good selection of whatever one wants to put in the fridge. We never saw the staff other then when we arrived - so there was no one to ask if one should be in need of help. (There was of course a number one could call.) We had been to Parga before, so we knew the town "in-and-out", otherwise we would have been a bit lost without any contact without the staff to guide us in the beginning. The room in the photo on the web-page of my travel agency looked nothing like the room we got, but we didn't mind. What we did mind was that we found leftovers (food melting from the fridge) from previous guests on the kitchen-bench upon arrival. That sort of set the standards as how to regard the cleaning for us. We cleaned the bathroom ourselves when we felt like it, otherwise I think it was OK. They made the beds every day and changed the towels. Once we came back from the beach, there were notes on every door saying that guests that used selftan and got the towels dirty would have to pay for new towels. I regard this as bad servise as I think the note was unpolite and I also did't like that they put it on every door. If they had to react to this they could have contacted the persons doing it (easy to find out), and not put rude warnings out to every guest.. I would gladely stay here again because what matters for me is that I feel safe enough to sleep - which is what I need the room for. If you want a place that provides you with a sense of luxury; go somewhere else ;-)…
We loved our stay in Villa Tousis very much. Rooms were cleaned every day and the bathroom was shinning. Towels and the bedlinen were changed very often. Rooms and balcony were nice and big. The location was good with greek atmosphere and in a very quiet area. The staf was very kind and helpfull. We should like to stay there another time.
This is a really nice place, conveniently located in the centre of town, but in a very quiet neighbourhood. We rented a studio with en suite bathroom, kitchen and balcony. The rooms are cleaned and the dishes done every day. The family who run it are very friendly and we experienced absolutely no problems with them, even though we chose not to opt for the air conditioning. We would definitely stay here again.
Never choose this hotel. The staff did everything to annoy us because we would not hire air conditioning and safebox. They live in the hotel and talked and cried as it boomed to at 2 am and played the music loud. A radio was put on the table during our balcony at night although they were not there ..
