Detailed Reviews
This was our 7th stay at Hotel Sol and we already booked for 2021. From the first time we came here we have been treated like old friends. The owners and staff at Sol are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They will also help you with your travel arrangements from the airport or port, ahead of your stay, arranging for taxi pick up and helping with ferry times if you travel via Corfu, making it very straightforward to travel independently.
We always stay in a sea view room and wake up to the beautiful view of Panagia Isand each morning. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean, as is the rest of the hotel. Breakfast is plentiful and as buffet breakfasts are currently not allowed, is ordered the evening before from an extensive selection and served in the spacious breakfast area or in your room if preferred.
Sol has lovely comfy sunbeds on the beach right opposite the hotel, which hotel guests can reserve and you can order drinks and food right from your sunbed, or if you prefer, go up to the hotel's bar/cafe The Old Garden which serves great salads and snacks and has the most amazing view over Krioneri Beach. There are also comfy sunbeds and deckchairs around the pool area for the use of hotel guests.
It is important to say in 2020 that the hygiene measures at Sol are excellent, as they are at all times, but of particular importance at present to give guests the confidence to feel safe.
The location of the hotel is perfect as there are many great restaurants within walking distance in either direction. We can't recommend Sol highly enough.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks in June and from start of the holiday to the end we felt very safe in their very capable hands . Everyone we met that worked there were Professional, efficient and friendly. Attention to detail was second to none and we had lovely clean spacious rooms with beautiful breakfasts with plenty of choice including some gorgeous lunches at the old garden terrace which is just set back from the beach. Hotel Sol Parga is a family run small hotel and everyone has a smile on their face . Keep doing what your doing and you won’t go wrong .. Enjoy the rest of your summer and thank you for making us feel so welcome..

Had an amazing 10 nights that was transferred from 2020. The staff are all very attentive and treat you like royalty , we felt very at home and comfortable there . Had room 210 a top floor sea view room which had a large balcony with 2 chairs and table and gets the sun all day . Because of COVID you tell reception what you’d like for breakfast the night before , a Greek breakfast, cooked or choose 3 items from a list of ten , all served with bread and unlimited drinks . Also let them know if you’d like a sunbed on the beach and Andreas will reserve you a frontline one , so no rush to get to the beach . Their part of the beach is open to non-residents who use the Old Garden bar in front of the hotel but as a guest of the Sol , you are given priority. The location is excellent, right on the beach but at the quieter end of town away from hustle of the harbour , restaurants and bars . So glad we made it there and would highly recommend to all .

We have just returned from staying a week at this amazing hotel. After reading all the favourable reviews we just had to stay there and was not at all disappointed. We love boutique hotels and Hotel Sol with just 12 rooms really does fit the bill.
This hotel really does have the lot................... The best central location and across a small road from the beach where hotel guests are provided with comfortable sunbeds and parasols on a lovely sandy beach right in front of the hotel, managed by Andreas who also is available to get you drinks and food from the hotel bar. And the best bit being there is no charge for sunbeds or parasols for hotel guests.
The standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel could not be better. Breakfast is taken leisurely on the hotel veranda and is excellent quality. The hotel bar does great food at lunchtime, and I particularly liked the selection of craft beers available. All hotel staff are professional, extremely friendly and cannot do enough to make your stay perfect.
This was our first visit to Parga, and it really does have everything. Scenery, beaches, a lovely town with countless restaurants and bars, many with extremely high standards, quality and reasonably priced, plus lots to do.
We left Parga with amazing memories but realized there was still much more to try out and thinking we should have stayed longer.
We have already booked a ten day stay at Sol Hotel for next year and can't wait to return. Thank you to all at Hotel Sol.

This was my 3rd stay at the Sol Hotel in 2020-2021, and we will definitely be back.
Greg and Lucy run a truly fantastic boutique hotel; the quality and care is obvious everywhere. From reserved sunbeds (inculded in the price) on the beach, to free underground parking, to separate towels for beach/pool, it is all exactly as one would expect from a dream holiday hotel.
Of course, the biggest asset of the hotel is its staff. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, it is like being amongst extended family. Nothing is too much trouble for the Sol team to assist you in: dining reservations, trip advice, reliable regular taxis, good-value car rental 100m up the road, even arranging bookings for PCR tests.
The facilities are excellent. The beach is literally a stone's throw away, there is a lovely secluded swimming pool, and the bar area is well thought-out and always popular with guests and visitors. The Burger is exceptional!!
One note of warning: if you do not partake of the Greek Pancakes at breakfast, you will regret it eternally. They should qualify as the 8th Wonder of the World...
Finally, there are many restaurants, tavernas, shops and places of interest all within easy walking distance of the hotel.

For our first travel since the pandemic, Hotel Sol Parga reminded us why we love to travel.
Parga itself is a gorgeous little town. Full of atmosphere, beautifully situated, and with lots to do. Because of its layout, picking the right hotel is important, and Sol could not have been better located - right by the beach but with car access, and walking distance to all the facilities.
The welcome was warm, and all the staff were really friendly. The room was spacious, and with good facilities. Breakfast was tasty and generous, and Andreas was great in looking after everything on the beach: having beach chairs was a true bonus.
We actually extended our stay by a night we were enjoying it so much. Only negative is that WiFi is not particularly good, but we found the restaurant WiFi network to the best to use.
However, it’s a very small point and we would definitely stay again.

We have just returned home after spending 8 nights at the Hotel Sol Parga, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is just perfect, right in the centre of Parga overlooking the lovely sandy beach. Our room was extremely comfortable with sea-views and was cleaned daily to an extremely high standard. All the staff in the hotel make this a very special place to stay, they are so welcoming and friendly and a pleasure to deal with. All in all, this was a perfect holiday and we would return to Hotel Sol Parga in a heartbeat.

Our first impressions, the wonderful aircon that greeted us as we walked in from the lift. Underground parking such a bonus in the heat. Stella greeted us with a lovely warm welcome and showed us to our room.
Great size room, large comfortable bed, walk- in shower, a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Our balcony looked out towards the Old Garden café and the beautiful blue sea beyond. In-fact we never grew tired of the view and every morning we got up and looked to see how many boats had moored overnight.
The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, cereals, continental, hot buffet and numerous delicious Greek treats to enjoy. As much tea and coffee as you wanted and different kinds of milk to suit everyone’s taste. Again enjoying the stunning view while we ate our breakfast.
Take the road train for a trip up to Ali Pasha’s castle for stunning views of the bay and listen to the story of Parga’s chequered past and olive growing. Or another day take the road train into the hills to hear all about the mills (now in ruins) grinding the flour back in the 1920’s all the water supplied by the springs running down the hillside. About an hours drive away is the ancient ruin of Dodoni or visit Nikopolis and its museum. What an amazing city it must have been many years ago.
The Acheron Springs is definitely worth a visit take a raft ride if you dare! The water crystal clear and follow its source to the small town of Ammoudia and hear all about the Greek legends.
On the way back stop off at Panorama Taverna for a delicious lunch looking out across Lichnos beach.
If you want a quiet day just reserve a sunbed at reception for the following day and while away the hours reading, sunbathing and swimming in the warm sea. We also enjoyed our afternoons sitting by the pool slipping into the pool when it got too hot.
There is a library where we could swop the books we had read and a supermarket right next door.
There are many wonderful places to eat all within a short walking distance. Our particular favourites were Kantuni, Lithos, Hellenikon and La Barca. All serving amazing Greek food.
All in all a fabulous holiday, great staff who couldn’t do enough for us. We would certainly recommend.

A small friendly, professional and extremely comfortable hotel. We loved that you could walk right out of the door and be in town. Being a small hotel it was personal service, well appointed and finished. Comfortable sun beds on our balcony with a priceless view from our balcony and breakfast area. Nicely finished rooms with quality products and nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t use the pool as the beach was right outside but I’m not sure if the pool is in the sun all day, probably not. We were sorry we were only staying 3 nights but will definitely be back.
Only comment would be that breakfast starts at 8.30am which as we are up early would have liked an 8 am start and tea making facilities in the room.

We have just returned from our first visit to the Hotel Sol and have already booked our next trip. This family run hotel is without doubt one of the most relaxing places we’ve ever stayed. All staff were superb and nothing was ever too much trouble for any of them. Throughout the entire hotel the cleanliness was incredible which is a real credit to them.Having sun beds reserved on the beach at no cost was also a great asset. Breakfast was a delight and all served at your table on the beautiful open air terrace or in your room.
The location is also absolutely perfect on the promenade a stones throw to the beach but within the pretty town of Parga with all the choice anyone could wish for of lovely restaurants and typical tavernas and a myriad of all types of little shops nestling in the narrow streets behind the seafront.
A truly wonderful trip.

I’m sure they would be the hotel has such very high standards. I must admit I always like to take my own products. Why don’t you just email the hotel they are extremely helpful? Then you’d know for sure.
Yes two types of towels are provided. Ones for the beach and separate ones for pool use only.
No there is nothing in the fridge upon arrival
Sorry, I do not recall if there was an iron in the room. It's always best to ask the hotel desk, they will know for sure if one is offered.
Yes, there is a lift and ramps in and out of the hotel. However the beach is accessible via steps so this may be something to consider if a beach lover.
