Stayed here many times think this is our 5th time. We booked with jet2 and the booking said 2 ground floor apartments available, no other choice. We were happy with this as my parents are 74 and I have mobility issues due to illness. Yet when we got there we had only one ground floor the other room up 4 flights of stairs. I said we had booked the only available rooms which were both ground floor. The guy told us it's jet2s fault as they double book, spoke to jet2 who said it's the hotel booking system! Not good and it's not the first time it's happened. Due to covid the rooms were not getting cleaned just towels and bedding swapped which again when there for 2wks isn't good, there is ventilation and all the tests we have to prove we are covid free, we still pay top price so should get the service. The hotel had to sell rooms to a lot of non brits to fill it which is understandable, but my god they are rude! Towels on all beds, then when you find a bed and enjoy the sun up goes a massive brolly as they want shade, but don't ask just put it up and the brolly are huge so don't just cover 2 people. The lady who runs the hotel is fantastic, and the pool is the best and cleanest in Parga which is why we stay here, but the apartments need some money spending on them now, things like broken plug sockets, towel rails falling off the wall and just a spruce up is needed. Would I return??? Depends on price I guess.

Good accommodation, friendly hosts and excellent value for money. Rooms were cleaned every third day by friendly cleaners and the pool area kept immaculate. Small selection of lunch snacks but only a ten minute walk to the beach and harbour. Would definitely recommend.

Due to the government stopping holidays to the Canary Islands we booked a last minute holiday to elana apartments in Parga. It was our first holiday in Greece and what a beautiful place it was. We only stayed for one week but really enjoyed everything. The elana apartments are very well maintained and the staff are really friendly. The apartments are situated within a 15 minute walk to the beach which is beautiful and the bay which has loads of bars and restaurants. We would like to thank Angela,Vanessa and the barman (unfortunately never got his name) for a great week. The apartments and pool area are kept spotless and we will definitely go back if we able. Thanks for a fantastic holiday Tony,Helen and Hannah room room 322.

Stayed in these apartments for 2 weeks at the end of August, we paid for air con and a safe as soon as we got there, the air con was needed as we were in an attic room. The room was big and had everything we needed. It was cleaned every day apart from Wednesdays, providing fresh towels and bedding and although they did a good job I would say they could have been more thorough, there were marks on the glass shelf in the bathroom which they never wiped (I wiped it myself) and I don’t think they moped or brushed the floors everyday (which is needed when you have brought sand in from the beach). Just little things which should have been done but no major problems, our cleaner was lovely and always said hello. Pool area is lovely, the sun loungers were a tad hard, but we never struggled to get one. It is in an ideal location, just a short walk from the beach, shops and restaurants and there is a supermarket at the end of the road. Staff could have been more friendly, never asked if we’d had a good stay when checking out, just took keys off us and told us where to leave our suitcases. We were on a late flight home so needed to use the shower facilities by the pool, only fault with these were that there were no plugs near the mirrors in the shower area, I had to dry my hair right at the side of the pool (quite embarrassing when everyone is sunbathing). Overall, I would stay at these apartments again, they are in a perfect location, clean, great pool area and have everything you need.

We stayed here for a week in August. The accommodation was adequate, clean and serviceable. It advertises a sea view but there was no view available from our ground floor apartment. If you were on a higher floor on the sea side you would be able to view the sea in the distance. There was some loose wiring high up in the bathroom but otherwise everything worked. I was surprised to be charged extra on arrival for air conditioning, maybe this is normal practise locally? The beds were very hard to the point I had trouble sleeping on them despite liking a firm mattress. Service at the bar was hit or miss, it was not always manned. We had food there one day and it was poor and fried. We didn't try again. There was a nice pool. The cleaners left our ground floor balcony unlocked every day despite us contacting our rep - thankfully nothing went missing. The apartments are okay to use as a base although they are a 10 minute walk from the beech. I would not stay here again.

So, before I booked this hotel I had read a review from a guy who said it was the most miserable place he had ever stayed in, having been travelling to Greece for 30 + years. I am sorry to say I completely agree. I have never stayed anywhere in Greece where the staff/owners were so unfriendly. In fact I can only liken the experience to being an unwelcome visitor in someone’s private home. It was difficult to tell who was who out of the staff, there was an older guy who maintained the pool who I initially thought was just the general maintenance man but in hindsight I think he may have actually been the owner. He served me once at the bar, never once making eye contact, and never making any conversation at all except from to tell me how much my drink was. After 2 days of spending my hard earned money at the bar without getting so much as a hello or a smile I decided they weren’t getting any more of it and subsequently bought all our drinks from the supermarket. Upon departure I look the keys back to reception, there was no-one there so I just left the keys on the desk. There were a few of us leaving so we sat in the bar until it was time to leave for our transfer. We got up to leave and not one member of staff even acknowledged our existence, no cheery “goodbye, have a safe trip etc” in fact nothing at all. I would say all the staff need some training in hospitality, the only friendly people I came across were the cleaners who did an excellent job. On a positive note the property is actually quite nice, it is very clean, the pool is well maintained and a good size. There was never trouble getting a sunbed, mainly because not many people used the pool due to its lack of any sort of atmosphere. The rooms were perfectly adequate by Greek standards, actual shower curtain and hook for shower head which is not always the case. Parga is very pretty, I will definitely return to the resort but not in August as naturally is was very busy. My days of having to holiday during the school holidays are finally over so I will certainly go back a little out of high season, I will however definitely not be returning to the Elena Apartments.

Stayed for two weeks. It would appear that Thomas Cook just had a small amount of rooms as other tour operators seem to have more control. We stayed in the Attic/Loft apartment which was up six flights of stairs which was a total of 54 steps. In temperatures of 30c plus was not ideal after going up and down an incline to and from Parga. The air con was 84 euros for two weeks and was told by the owner you could only have for one or two weeks dependant on stay. Could not have for less than this. The apartment was spotless but felt the bedroom space was wasted by the sloping roof which limited the space with a double bed and furniture in it. The sofa bed was too small. The plus was the mozzy shields on the balcony door and windows. In the Manos brochure, it states the Attic/loft room was charged at a supplement but it would appear we had no choice as this room was for two or three persons. Personally it would not have been my choice. Parga itself was very nice but it was lacking in things to do. Unless you like being on a beach all day. If you like exploring like we do as a family, this is not ideal for sightseeing. We felt isolated as there is a big distance between other places other than Lichnos and Valtos which again are beach places only. It will be our one and only visit I'm afraid. Another plus was the airport. One of the best we have been to in Greece for going into and going out of, highly organized.

Having travelled to Greece for over 35 years, this was the most miserable place we have ever stayed. To start there is no meet and greet when you arrive, which is needed as the reception is a room hidden behind the bar not visible from the gated entrance. On two occasions we saw people wondering about not knowing where to go. The owners did not seem to be aware of arrivals or departures. When I booked April last year the brochure said that there was a hairdryer in the rooms, so I did not take one, there was no hairdryer . Asked at reception they said they were all out, so I left my room number so they could let me know when somebody left, request was ignored. There are no kitchen facilities so no breakfasts only snacks that were warmed up behind the bar. The staff never smiled or engaged with their guests, which I found extremely unusual in Greece. There was no entertainment as with other nearby hotels (and indeed everywhere else we have ever been)no Greek night , no Bbq , nothing. The bar was always closed when we got back, but then there was no inclination to have a drink there anyway. We used to go for a last drink in a nearby hotel that was full of life as it should be. While around the pool one day somebody who must have been the owner came in sat down told the person behind the bar to turn the music down, while he watched TV ! The sunbeds were rock hard to lie on, which has been mentioned over and over again by customers, but has been ignored by the owners, who do not seem to care. Also there were not enough beds available. The room we were in was supposed to be for three people. The single bed was a sofa which would only fit for somebody under 4ft tall. This was an attic room at the top of the building so unsuitable for young children. In the bedroom you could only get out one side of the bed because of the sloping roof on the other side. The rooms are very clean and the cleaners were all lovely with smiles and friendly greetings, shame they don’t run the hotel. We loved Parga and will return one day but not to this hotel.
