Detailed Reviews
My wife and I had a lovely time staying at Petros Suites. We were lucky enough to secure a top floor penthouse room with a very well equipped large balcony with plenty of sun all afternoon and evening and fitted with an electric canopy if you don't want the sun. On the balcony were nice chairs and a large table for taking your breakfast on and watching the boats go out, also two comfy sunbeds to go with the beach towels supplied every day, We had clean towels every day as well. The kitchen area had sufficient equipment to cook bacon and eggs with toast from a toaster and a full size fridge with freezer compartment, electric kettle for our tea/coffee. It is in a good location being nestled into the side of one the many Hills in Parga facing the Ionian Sea. You can enter the property from the road which is where the top three rooms are situated or if you choose to enter from the harbour front it's very close but the are four sets of steep stairs to negotiate. A very good supermarket is located less than 200 metres away and it sells most things at fair prices. There are so many restaurants and bars close by and three or four we visited were fantastic. For us the balcony the dealmaker with great views in the day also at night. The Proprietor and his Family are very pleasant and are there if you need anything but give you your privacy at the same time .Correspondence was easy and everything promised to us was delivered. Meeting on arrival and departure was perfect. We had a Great vacation. Special Thanks to Soto as well. Hope to see you all in the coming Years.

We have stayed at Petros a few times now, and have booked future trips too. We stay in one of the 3 penthouses overlooking the jetty. For us it is our perfect place! The balcony is huge with perfect views out across the Ionian waters. The balcony is fully equipped with sun loungers, table and chairs and a drying line! The beds are super comfy, the apartment is lovely and clean and traditionally modern. You have a little kitchenette, fridge, sink, hob toaster etc which gives you plenty of equipment to make a small meal/breakfast. The walk into town is literally, 2 minutes. You can take the steps through the accomodation down to the back street which is about 100 metres to the harbour or the back road which is just a couple of minutes to the supermarket and the outskirt of the town. For us the location and accomodation is more than perfect! And of course Petros is a wonderful host who can give you any info you will need about parga and all around. We are not pool people as we like to take days out to the beaches, again, for the water taxis, you are down the steps and the little alley right onto the harbour by the jetty where you catch the boats. I would never fail to recommend Petros to anyone wanting lovely accommodation centrally in Parga!

Stunning balcony and view of the jetty, island and castle! Our first time in Parga, and I will definitely be staying here again. The penthouses have incredible views, large balconies with dining table and chairs and padded sunloungers. Our apartment was very spacious, nice decor and spotlessly cleaned every day. Fresh daily beach towels were much appreciated. The jetty and all bars, shops, restaurants are less than a 5min walk. Petros and his family go the extra mile to ensure an enjoyable stay, nothing is any trouble. I highly recommend the penthouse apartments. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Good location, easy access to harbour & centre. The room that we rented was bellow average condition, we stayed there 5 days and they never changed our bedsheets (when we asked the owner why they didn’t changed the bedsheets, the answer was we change them 1 or 2 times per week. The bed had a mattress pad that was uncomfortable. Generally the hotel was in average condition, not well maintained and not worth the money!

Response from Irene Staknys, General Manager at Petros Penthouse & Studios
Responded Aug 20, 2023
We are sorry you weren't satisfied with the accommodation. However, you stayed 5 days and did not voice your disatisfaction until the day you left. Both problems could have easily been rectified if you had spoken up earlier.

The best accommodation option in Parga. In the most beautiful spot with a view of the nymph of Epirus and a comfortable clean room, the always willing and noble Mr. Petros will welcome you and give you any information you need! Excellent accommodation.

Havng visited Parga approx 15 times and travelled worldwide we still return every year to this beautiful small resort around a natural ampitheature with the castle on one side and the small harbour in the centres. We have stayed in various hotels and apartments but finally found Petros and Eirinis apartments which for us can't be faulted. The view is stunning. We stayed in one of the small penthouse studios and our son, daughter in law and two boys stayed in the two bedroom. The balconies are large with loungers , tables and chairs . The apartments are so well equipped with extra touches ... bathrobes, beach towels, clean towels daily and rooms cleaned each day. It was the first time we had taken our family and want to thank Petros and Irene for your wonderful friendliness and superb customer service. We love Greece and have travelled to lots of different islands but this resort beats them all for a perfect chill out. Thank you so much from us all Petros and Eirini.

We stayed at Petros Penthouse in suite Avgi one week in June. The view is really fantastic and the same is the terrace. We were so satisfied with the apartment as we could be and Parga is a very cosy little town. Petros and Irene are very friendly and they want all the best for their customers. They also have a nice shop in the town. We will highly recommend Petros Penthouse.

Stayed at Petros Apartments last week in May and yet again the facilities had got better!! We now had beach towels every day and although there where already sunbeds on the balcony we had a delivery of a steamer chair to add to the options! Petros explained to us that this was a result of customer feedback. How good to stay somewhere where the owner listens. Apartments in great position easy to get everywhere by foot or car, supermarket and bread shop on doorstep. We'll be back. Thank you Petros and Irene.

As first-time travelers to Europe, we definitely wanted Greece to be one of the first countries to visit. We've seen the beautiful pictures and day dreamed about what to expect . We did our homework about the country and after much discussion, decided on visiting Parga. We needed to wind down after touring for two weeks in Italy and decided that Petros Penthouse in Parga was just what we were looking for. What we experienced was WAY beyond our wildest expectations!!!
We were greeted so warmly by Irene and Petros the evening we arrived. We were dead tired but came to life when we walked into our BEAUTIFUL penthouse and walked straight out onto the welcoming balcony only to see a stunning cove glittered with lights from nearby boats and a clear sky filled with stars sparkling like diamonds. I was so overwhelmed by the beauty of it all I actually cried!
Our room was amply stocked with everything that we needed for the next few days -- kitchen gadgets and clean, new appliances, soft fluffy towels, fresh fruit which came from the local market, a tea kettle, which somehow they remembered from my emails that I only drink decaffeinated tea and had that in our room for us, a comfortable bed with perfect pillows, a flat screen TV and Wi-Fi that worked 100% of the time! (I say this because while in Italy we were told that we had Wi-Fi at every hotel we stayed in only to find out that it was sporadic at best.) All of our outlets worked, blow dryers, etc. -- again, mentioning this because we DIDN'T have that in Italy.
We slept like rocks that night and as I read in another review, even tho there was a lot of activity outside not far from our room, we didn't hear a thing every night we were there! The balcony was fabulous as we had our morning tea/coffee (also supplied) while we gazed out at the magnificent morning view before us. Words can not express the euphoria we felt.
We then explored the town of Parga and were overwhelmed by the friendliness of its people. Again, much, much more friendly than the Italians. We ate at several restaurants over the next few days and one meal was better than the next. Irene and Petros recommended every one of them and they were spot on! Did we mention that Irene speaks perfect English and Petros speaks English as well as Italian and Greek? They run a family business so we had the pleasure of meeting their two sons as well who had just gotten home from their college studies in England and were there also to assist us in whatever we needed or wanted. I overheard one of the sons speaking Scandinavian to another hotel guest while we were there. A very talented family indeed!
The town is filled with history and if you get a chance it is worth the hike up the mountain to see the fort built many centuries ago overlooking the town of Parga. Stunning, stunning views abound from this spot high on the hill. There is plenty of shopping in town as well.
We spent the day at a beach club and were so surprised that it was open to the public! It had lounge chairs to rent at a VERY minimal charge, s snack bar, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, waitress service for lunch and music as well. If we didn't know better, we thought it was a private club for members only.
We enjoyed every second of our time at Petros Penthouse! Our only regret is that we didn't plan enough time there! Of course, we plan on staying there again if we are lucky enough to get back to Parga and as our title review states -- it was the "BEST VACATION EVER!!!!!"
