The Kosta Palace Hotel is situated on the harbour of Kos old town. The reception staff are friendly and professional but the hotel itself is very basic. I booked an apartment and was quite disappointed with its presentation and the inclusions. The air con was not very effective and there was a musty smell that lingered. Poorly lit bathroom. Usual... Location was very good, right in the centre of KOS town. The massage in the spa centre on the rooftop was amazing. But the rest of the hotel and facilities were below average. Service was terrible, I advised the front desk the room smelt of sewerage and took them until the next day to investigate. They sent housekeeping to verify... More

Hotel apartment ok but poorly equipped for anyone wanting to selfcater. No kettle or small pan - just 1 large pan, 1 casserole pan and 1 frying pan, but there were no knives to prepare anything. No pan scrub, tea towels etc. to wash pots. Tired furnishings but sheets & towels changed every two days and lovely clean white ones.... More

A slightly larger hotel than we would normally book, and obviously in quite a touristy area, but we found it via Booking.com and it was ideal for our overnight stopover before heading off for a week's island-hopping on Leros and Patmos. I'd certainly go back, and maybe even stay a couple of nights to explore Kos Town a bit more... More

I stayed 14 days in Kosta Palace; just returned last Friday. The location is the best it can be in the center - loved it. It also means that it has its downs as well. As I was staying in the end of July and beginning of August it meant that the young adults from abroad were in town and... More

I was disappointed to see that this is not a family friendly hotel. There were parties in rooms from around 17.00 till past midnight every night we stayed for 6 days, and it was hard to sleep. The hotel staff don't accept these loud parties, but the hotel is big and they don't see/hear everything that is going on. We... More

The breakfast is good to the price. The rooms have air-condition. There is a little pool and sundeck on the roof. The service is professional. The bar-prices are reasonable. There is a 24-hour open reception.

Even we made the rezervation face to face they charged us the room more expensive than booking.com. The room was in filth and everything was stinking. The room had the view of trash bins which cause very distinct smell in addition to room's own stinky bathroom. The hotel was very noisy cause of the other guests' rudeness. We request an... More

This is a good mid range hotel. Looks out on Kos harbour which is lovely. A little bit of a walk into town but near the beach. Breakfast was good. Rooms clean though unspectacular. Get a room with a harbour view if possible. Receptionists really nice - but only one on at a time so they get overwhelmed when lots... More
