If you're looking for somewhere a little off the main drag, then I'd recommend Costa Angela! It really is a lovely hotel! Just outside of Kos Town, but easily accessible by bus (right outside the hotel) or bike, it is perfect for anyone who likes to have the best of both worlds; it's not too far away to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Kos Town, but if you like a bit of peace and quiet, then you can have that too! The hotel is a stone's throw from the beach and if you book a room with a sea view, then you will witness the most beautiful sunsets from your balcony. The rooms are quite small, but clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. This was a bit of a last minute trip and booking, but I'm glad that I chose Costa Angela!

This is my second stay at this lovely hotel my friend and and I stayed 2 years ago and really wanted to return The location of the hotel is amazing quiet and on the beach with a beautiful pool the bus to Kos Town is right outside the hotel and is a 10 minute journey 2 Euro The staff are amazing and extremely helpful Our only complaint is the owner has made changes to the breakfast and restaurant you can only stay on bed and breakfast 2 years ago there was a great choice and was also extremely delicious we had 3/4 evening meals which were equally as delicious and great value for money. This time the food was nowhere near as good The selection was disappointing and the evening meals were nowhere near as good ! we tried twice and were extremely disappointed on both occasions Kos town is the place to eat every restaurant we ate in was delicious You do have to pay for use of sun beds and parasol 5 Euro for 2 on beach and if you want a towel 1euro a day Overall the location is amazing

We stayed here in August 2018 for a week. We had booked a seaview room. Upon arrival (with a rental car, however shuttle service is also available), we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very quick to personally guide us to our room on the first floor. The room featured a small bathroom with a shower, a sizeable fridge with a small freezer, air conditioning and a beautiful, spacious balcony with two chairs and a table. Throughout our time here, we again and again noticed the fantastic staff here - the manager/owner greeted us every morning, asked about our plans, and took time to talk to us in the evenings, giving us valuable tips and a fantastic insight into his ambitions with the hotel (for example, the bathrooms are due to be updated). The hotel had a well-kept pool and a small private beach, which was largely sandy with a few larger stones. A beach bar and sunbeds with umbrellas were available and the bar was staffed the entire day. We had only booked breakfast at the hotel as we wanted to explore the island. Breakfast was good with a small selection of breads, cheese, meat, and warm breakfast, as well as yoghurt, fruits and sweet spreads. We ate at the restaurant twice, choosing fresh fish of the day (loup de mer), gambas, saganaki, pita, tzatziki and zucchini, all of which was expertly prepared and very tasty. We had great local beer and wine, and the owner was generously ordering many drinks and desserts on the house for us. We were made to feel very welcome in this lovely hotel, and the owner was keen to hear our input. We were sad to leave this place after only a week, and we feel so rested and relaxed after our stay there. A fantastic place with great connections to Kos town (the bus stops right outside the building), but tranquil and ideal for a relaxed, sunny holiday.

We stayed for 9 nights in Costa Angela and really enjoyed our holiday. The Room was small but quiet nice. There was a confy bed and a little balcony. The bathroom was older but ok. Both were cleaned every day. It includes an AC (but we didn't really need it), a fridge and a tv. The service was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast we booked was a buffet every morning. There was always a collection of cereals, some bread and toast, different sorts of toppings and scrambled egg. As a special you could take pastery and pancakes. There was also fresh watermelon and greek quark. All tasted fine.We also tried some dishes for dinner. We absolutly recommend the baklava for desert. This was one of the best deserts we have ever eaten. The other greek food was also good. For your stay in Kos we recommend: Rent a bike to go to Kos town (5km from costa angela)/otherwise the bus stop is right in front of the hotel (2€ for one way). The garden and the pool were lovely. The beach was quiet and small. You can get there drinks at the bar or rent a sundbed (2,50€ per day).

My partner and I spent ages looking for a hotel on Kos and wanted a relaxing holiday but still with the option of plenty of things to do. It is a family ran hotel and the staff and service were fantastic. The owner and staff ensure that your feel very welcome with the usual Greek hospitality and it is that personal touch needed to make anyone visiting the hotel feel welcome. All the staff treat their guests like friends invited to their home. This hotel is not for you if you want to be able to step out immediately into the hectic Kos nightlife, but for a quiet peaceful spotless hotel and to still be less that 10min bus journey that runs every 15 minutes away from the main town and all it has to offer this is the perfect place. We do not usually do the all inclusive options which is why we booked this hotel preferring to find places the locals eat which we definitely did .... however the food, hospitality and relaxed atmosphere were so great, we ended up eating here several nights out of our two weeks. Food was reasonably priced with huge portion sizes and there was an extensive menu. The room was immaculate and spotless.... cleaned and replenished every day. The only thing we missed was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Lovely balcony to relax on in the setting sun and fly netting across the balcony door allowing you to sleep with a nice breeze blowing in from the sea. Be ready to pay extra daily surcharge for the air conditioning and a safe. The hotel is only a few meters away was the beach which can get quite breezy at times and I was disappointed as a resident to have to pay 5 Euros beach beds. There is a handy beach bar within a few meter of the beach for snacks and rehydration which was very reasonably priced. Beware that if your not a strong swimmer beware of some naughty rips tides. Don't change what you do its so perfect if ever I was in Kos again I would definitely return.
