Nice clean budget hotel. Small outdoor swimming pool with sunbeds. Front rooms overlook marina which has excellent cafe (skipper) for chefs omlette which is fantastic mmmm. Hotel has relaxed atmosphere with nice bar. Locals pop in and also chat. Really nice friendly hotel owners Rania and Vasilis really make an effort to please. Car hire place round corner (Ideal) which was fantastic no hassle service. Plenty of restaraunts on 15 minute walk to Kos town. All in all a lovely clean hotel.
A warm welcome is always received at this family owned hotel. Perfect for families, couples or single travelers. Breakfast is included in the very reasonable room price. The hotel is clean and tidy. The owners and staff are very helpful and accomodating. Nothing is too much trouble. Excellent views of the Marina which is opposite the hotel or rooms overlooking the generously sized pool, with high quality sunbeds. There is a relaxing bar offering a full range of drinks, cocktails and coffees. Food is available throughout the day and evening too. The walk into the town centre can take around 20 minutes, but it is very enjoyable walking along the sea. There are many bars, restaurants, shops and the amazing "Special" bakery along the way. Alternatively there are many buses for this journey or the hotel will happily book you a taxi which costs around 6 Euro. I have just checked out of Zephyros Hotel. My 6th visit in 2 years. If you want a genuine Greek experience you must visit this Hotel. Sophia, Rania and Vasilis are waiting to welcome you.…
Booked Zephyros as a last minute holiday as COVID lockdown restrictions in Spain stopped us going to the Canary’s. Expect a basic hotel and that exactly what you’ll get, such a shame as the hotel has real potential to be something quite nice. Rooms are sparsely furnished, with dated furniture, however the room and building was clean, air con in rooms but you need to ask at reception for a controller, terrible WiFi which constantly drops out, balconies over looking the marina, a pretty good shower, a fridge in the room. If you want a safe you need to ask for a key in reception and the safe deposit boxes are on a wall by reception not in your room. The owner a lady named Sophia needs to stay away from the place, from the minute we walked into the hotel she quite simply rude, she appeared to permanently have a chip on her shoulder, such a pity when her Son and daughter-in-law were really nice people and both trying so very hard. Breakfast is very simple, boiled eggs, toast and cereal, coffee or tea and the worst screech orange known to man. A young girl works the breakfast shift and is always smiling and happy to help A nice small pool at the rear of the hotel, always clean and tidy, which is also the local haunt for the hotel cats. The hotel has a bar/restaurant named IO2 and whilst we never ate there we had a few beers and it was a nice place with a relaxing atmosphere, The jewel in the crown of this hotel is the marina which is right across the road from the hotel and the balcony views are beautiful. The local beach is Peters approx 250m away, it’s is not really a beach more a mess. Get your walking shoes on and walk right out of the hotel past the marina and you come to a lovely wee beach at the bar C Food N Mood, free sun beds, WiFi and lush food. Turning left from hotel and walking to Kos town takes about 10 - 15 mins. In summary, if your happy with a basic no frills hotel then Zephyros fits the bill. We used it as a base and it worked brilliantly for us, would I stay they again, probably not but would happily pop in for a beer and say hello to the owners …
The worst hotel you can ask. Would never take the risk of staying here, the staff is rude, the place is in a terrible situation and on top they are racist and anti-Semitic! We shouldnt support places like this!
This amazing bar is great for having coffee in morning and equally good for having drink in the evening. Have been there for drinks with friends it has area outside so nice on warm night. Would always recommend to friends and family.
