This is a very special place. We had the time of our lives in Kastellorizo and our stay in Mediterraneo contributed substantially. The owner, Marie, is a true visionary. She created beautifully decorated rooms and a most hospitable space. The staff, Ismael, Natalie and Aleyna :) made sure we were spoiled with an abundance of breakfast items and refreshments. From... We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel june 2016. Stayed in the suite, one of the nicest places we ever stayed in ( and we have stayed in quite a few nice places )! The room and the patio is to die for ! Laying in the sun on the patio, watching the sea turtles swimming by, the... More

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. Our room was simply but tastefully furnished and decorated with two windows at the corner for views across the bay and towards the town. From our room and from the very comfortable sun loungers on the quay, we could hear the waves lapping the shore and we could watch at least... More

Nice boutique place to stay with all the greek island problems. The only thing I do not want to tolarate is that I could not get the standart sleep 1/2 of the time of our stay. Everything else is "life"....... The bar across the bay is a huge MINUS for the whole island......... Why on earth they let a bar... More

We stayed there for two nights on July 2012 and it is by far the most beautiful hotel in Kastelorizo. Let me explain myself. We seek for traditional hotels with representative atmosphere of the place we visit and this hotel offers exactly this. Located just by the sea, facing the whole port, with colorful traditional architecture and small number of... More

We visited this little known place after learning it was the inspiration behind David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) On an Island. Are we glad we did too! A lovely day out especially swimming in the blue lagoon. As blue as the album cover. A word of warning, however, watch out for the somewhat dubious passport process when taking the boat tour.

We've recently stayed for a weekend at the Mediterraneo and we have a mixture of feelings regarding the place which was at 100 euros per night which is very expensive regarding the facilities provided + . nice spot at the end of gulf with great sea views friendly staff + late check out without extra charge as we had a... It looks charming outside but don't fall for it or the website spiel - we felt we were merely tolerated, until they could get our money. I would give this 0 if I could, and t's no hotel. Desperately unprofessional: the owner told us THERE WAS NO ROOM for us on arrival, despite sending us email confirmation in advance. Apparently... More

We stayed for 2 nights in hotel mediterraneano. It was very comfortable, tastefully decorated with a great location. Very nice breakfast. Owner Marie was really helpful as we had to change our booking which she accommodated without fuss. Would definitely recommend.

Having read earlier reviews for this hotel, I was more than a little apprehensive. The actual experience was exceptional. From the reception upon arrival, to the attention to detail throughout our stay. The accommodation is quite unique and would probably not suit the 5 star brigade. However we were looking for a unique typical "Greek" lifestyle for a week which... More
