We had the most wonderful stay at Elena Village! We stayed in Room 30 which was a room with a Private Pool - 100% worth the upgrade!!!! All I can say is it was absolute heaven!! The room was spotless, the pool was like a dream and the terrace and views were stunning!!! The staff are exceptional!!! Nothing is too much trouble and the service levels are outstanding!! Friendly, attentive and super helpful!! We didn’t get up in time for breakfast which from reading the reviews is a shame as it sounds great, but we had room service a couple of times for lunch and the food was great! All fresh, large portions and delivered quickly! The Greek salad is huge and fed 2 of us for lunch over 2 days!!! The only slight improvement would be to have proper sunbed next to the private pools for comfort!! We could see some of the others had these so it may have been down to space in our room!? After 20 years of visiting the island we have never stayed here before, we will definitely be returning!!

If you are accustomed to sleeping on a tile floor the bed will feel very comfortable. I have been here 9 nights now and I have found myself napping at the pool, at the climbing area, on the couch and even at the table. This is because I was able to get out of the bed with my partner’s help. Otherwise I would be stuck trying to sleep in the bed due to not being able to move at all when I wake up. In terms of business, buying a mattress that is so rock-hard you won’t have to replace it is a great decision, I can totally appreciate that. In all seriousness, the other positive comments are a good representation of Elena. I will not be back if they pay me to stay here, due to the beds. I would rather sleep on the beach with no mattress as long as I have a blanket. (And no, I’m not a rusty old fart, I’m young enough to crush the rock climbs above the hotel and old enough to spend money on a good bed for my home)

The Elena Village Hotel fulfilled all our hopes and more for a relaxing, get away from it all holiday. The journey from the UK was long (14 hours) but it was well worth it. The Elena Village is set on the outskirts of Massouri, 10 minute walk away, which provides all the shops, bars and restaurants that you might need. The Elena Village Hotel itself is set into a hillside and has spectacular views of the Aegean Sea. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and the food was good value for money. We booked a room with a private pool and it really did make our holiday special; a few steps out of our room led to a small sun terrace and private pool with stunning sea views and views of Telendos. The fact that we could have room service was an added bonus. What more could anyone want from a holiday? Our room consisted of a bedroom, lounge area, kitchen area and terrace. It was cleaned and tidied every day. Travelling with Jet 2 from the UK it would have been useful to know that the wait at the port area in Kos could be 3 hours or more. You are taken to a Greek taverna and so can have food and drink but be prepared for lots of waiting around on both parts of your journey. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday on a spectacular island and enjoyed every minute at The Elena Village Hotel.

All I wanted was a room with a view but at the Elegant Elena I was afforded A Pandemic Panorama. Spacious comfort at a low level was the order of the day. Significant contributions from Nickolas Panormitis, Faneri Dimitris,Ireni Maria & the effervescent Katarina made for a break that was truly far from the Madding Crowd. A climbers breakfast to well and truly launch your day and a quiet locale to send one to sweet dreams. Wonderful time had by one and all.

The hotel was nice but nothing special. bar prices are a bit steep 4.50 euros for fresh orange juice. Breakfast was OK sometimes cold, it was not self service due to covid you told the waiter what you wanted and it was brought to your table. Our room was OK but we booked for 2 adults and a child and ended up with a sofa bed for our 11 year old son to sleep on, which was very uncomfortable. check out 12 o clock no changing room as we had a late pick up, we had to change from the pool in the gym shower room! The walk into town was 10 mins, I would recommend taking a small torch as there is no street lights part of the way. we found the best beaches to be Super Mario & Zorba's. We took a boat trip over to Telendos which i would recommend. All in all it was a good holiday. Our only dislike was the 3 hour wait on arrival for the ferry from Kos to Kalymnos, You are dropped off at a Restaurant by jet 2 and have to wait for the ferry. The same on the way back before your transfer to the airport, depending on flight times. So transfers are not 1 hour 40 mins including ferry they are 3-3.5 hours. Depending on ferry times and flights.
