Our stay at Aphrodite studios was wonderful. Someone was waiting at the port to meet our ferry and drive us to the studios (which we thought we’d never find our way to, but you soon get your bearings). We had booked a basic studio with sea view ( #20) which turned out to be at the south side of the property and had wonderful views of the port and the castle from the terrace which was framed by bougainvillea. The bed was comfy, there was plenty of drawers and wardrobe space and the bathroom was quite roomy. Breakfast was delivered on a tray to our room every morning and consisted of yoghurt and honey, savoury bread/pastries and cake. It was delicious. Our room was cleaned every day and the Nespresso pods and sugar etc was always kept topped up (a lovely touch). On our last day we left our cases in reception whilst we went for lunch and they were brought down to the port for us in time for the ferry. We could not fault these studios or the friendly owners/staff and would highly recommend them

We really enjoyed staying here at the Aphrodite Studios. The owners are super friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious and clean. Only a couple of minutes walk to the town center - this is the ideal location to have an entire view of the beautiful Chora.

What I enjoyed the most was the kindness and great hospitality of Mrs Aggeliki and her son who took exceptionally good care of us and ou daughter. Every morning delicious and fresh homemade local pastries were delivered outside our door.
The rooms were exceptionally clean and the lady cleaning and doing the laundry very kind and efficient.
Location between the port and the Chora was perfect (walking distance) as well as the view from our terrasse.
Would definitely recommend and go back!

The location and the family who ran the apartments are so nice and friendly. The view is amazing and the rooms are very clean. You definitely get what you paid for. Mr ilias will guide you perfectly and his sweet mother will help you to check in. Every morning she serves handmade traditional breakfast. One of the best experiences in Astypalea.

The studios are situated perfectly between the port and the centre (Hora) of Astipalea! The staff is very polite, friendly and they freshly bake on a daily basis different local delights for you to try every morning. The rooms overlook the sea and the Castle. I would definitely recommend it as we would definitely stay there again!

Amazing accommodation in Astypalea! Great location in the Chora close to Castle, restaurants, shops. Very friendly and service-oriented staff. A real plus is the tasty breakfast with homemade (savoury and sweet) pastries brought daily to the guests' room. Nespresso machine for a real italian Espresso was really appreciated! Thanks for this wonderful stay!

Very nice hotel, room and hotel decorations are adorable, rooms are big enough for two people, there is a small kitchen area in the room, they have Turkish / Greek coffee along with espresso machine and coffee, bathroom complementaries very nice. Our room was half sea half mountain view. They picked us up from the port since the island is not flat, it is hard to climb with luggages. They also dropped us to the port. Nice breakfast, ona bakery one something sweet (:

We stayed two nights in a deluxe studio and it was perfect. Ilias welcomed us in the early hours of the morning at the ferry and provided excellent advice for sightseeing and dining around the island. Our studio was exceptionally clean and well set out. We loved listening to the sea and watching the sunrise from our balcony. The owners have really put a lot of care and attention into the studios. The outdoor spa with view to the old port was perfect to relax in at the end of the day. We would love to return to Aphrodite Studios for a seven day stay in the future! Highly recommend hiring a scooter to explore the island and Ilias's recommended restaurants were spot on. Thanks Ilias !!

Aphrodite Studios is such a wonderful place to stay. on my 1st time visiting the island. we were greeted by the driver after a long journey from Santorini at 4am, a 15 min drive to the old port. the studios were magnificent. clean, well stocked, well decorated, in the morning i met Angeliki, she along with Kostos, and her son Elias run the studios... she is a wonderful, nice lady. she makes a great frappe too. :) we talked about the island and rented a jeep thru her company... 20 euros a day.. for a jeep.:) which is needed to see the whole island. she then brought some homemade cheese pies drenched in honey... ummmmmmm.... so good. as it was quiet on the island, she was in reception during day until about 8pm.. she gave recommendations on restaurants from around the whole island...that were spot on.... the location of the studios is in the old port. a 5 minutes walk down to the water. and a 10 minute walk back. via the road or stairs. Kostas drove us back to port at 4am. to catch our boat.. truly awesome family, island and studios. i will return.. efcharsito poli. steve
