We spent 5 nights im this hotel in one of the rooms with private pool. I cannot say anything else than wow The hotel is located in the Chora in the road to Livadi beach. Very calm location and just 2m walking from the famous wind mills It’s a hotel built in various levels from the main entrance down to 5/6 floors as a cascade down. There is a lift to go up&down but you need to consider that some stairs are always there Our room had very good size for 4 people with all services needed. The private pool was next to the main hotel pool, not 100% private but with the right level of privacy The breakfast is simply amazing with the right variety every day but possible to request what you need And a final word about the staff, really amazing and kind. Konstantinos and the team are there to make your life easier and they really do it. A great plus of our experience 100% recommendable to live the experience of the amazing island of Astypalaia in this perfect rest place Go and enjoy it

Stayed at the hotel from August 9th till the 14th. Undoubtedly the best hotel on the island with impeccable service at the front desk and a spa you should definitely use as their therapists are truly excellent. I had the back and neck massage by this physiotherapist that was one of the best I ever had. Breakfast is great and their Italian restaurant offers mouthwatering and tantalizing pizzas, pastas and other dishes. The only negative thing is the design of their showers which are open fronted, leading to the bathroom flooding easily which can lead to accidents. I had one but luckily nothing serious other than a head bump. Friends staying at the honeymoon suites were also amazed by the fact that toilets are located a floor below with a glass ceiling and an open door. Not too sure how happy newlyweds would be but anyhow. Overall, a gem of a hotel with a young vibe and excellent service that is highly recommended

My husband and I visited Astypalaia for a mini honeymoon, after our wedding on Kos! We were exhausted and this was the perfect refuge to relax and enjoy a few days together. The property is absolutely gorgeous and a short walk to the downtown. The room itself was luxurious and had a Coco-Mat bed (these are incredible and it’s great so many Greek hotels are now choosing this brand). The staff couldn't do enough for us, so kind and so knowledgeable about the island. Our room was a dream...the entire hotel is renovated, clean, perfectly decorated and feels like another world. We loved the spa and visited twice for amazing massages and facials (thank you Maria and Yianni, who were exceptional!)

We stayed at this beautiful property from 18 to 31 July 2022. The hotel is very charming, equipped with all services, has a beautiful location between the Chora, within walking distance in a few minutes, and the beautiful beach of Livadi, reachable in the same way in 10 minutes. We were pampered throughout the stay by a great staff led by Constantine who is a mlto professional person can really make a difference in the management. The breakfast is sumptuous, with fresh and high quality products, the restaurant cooks fresh dishes with every ingredient produced in the house (excellent pizzas and pasta). definitely the best property you can find in Astypalea with great value for money. After two years of covid that stopped us from traveling in the summer we made the best holiday we could do. Thanks Pylaia!

Well, the staff is very welcoming and kind to you. They want to help you however they can. The location is just stunning and very close to the center. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was my favorite moment of the day, because I could enjoy my delicious scrambled eggs and bacon with my coffee enjoying a breathtaking view.

Second time here... And I can confirm the high quality of pilaya hotel. Kostantinos is the best host you can imagine. Always present to spoil you and to grant the best experience. The position is great, the service luxurious but discrete, very good food and beverages! Highly recommended 😎

Gorgeous views and the kindest hotel staff we’ve ever met. From the first greeting at the airport, Constantine, Marietta and their plentiful staff were thoughtful, attentive, and helpful for the duration of our stay. The food was delicious and the free breakfast was a full feast we could not finish. The hotel dining room is an indoor/outdoor space with the most incredible views on the island - and is designed for relaxation. Our bags were carried to our room, the pool was pristinely cleaned, and the shaded beds next to the pool were the perfect place to relax. The air conditioner in the room worked well and came on automatically when we shut the doors - such a nice touch! Room is stocked with espresso, cable TV, shampoo, and all the essentials. We would go back tomorrow!

Only few people know the island and therefore even fewer this interesting and well organized hotel with beautiful rooms and suites, an excellent restaurant and a wonderful view. Walking distance to town and beaches, perfect service and managemant make your holiday a collection of days you will miss till you come again, like some of the guests who stay year after year in the same room.

It's our second time at Pylaia, and it was even better than the first. The honeymoon suite is one of the most unique hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. The cave shower is very atmospheric. The unobstructed view from the room is breathtaking. The hotel restaurant is excellent, with lots of tasty dishes to choose from. The staff are all very professional and friendly. The spa therapist Marietta is super professional and very competent at her job. Our massage was excellent. The manager, Constantinos, is committed to making sure your stay is unforgettable. He's superb at his job. His team is full of young, hardworking people - Xanthippi, Vassilis, Andriana, Rania, Nafsika... everyone. The best thing is that breakfast is served until 11.30am, so you don't have to get up very early. There's also a cool hotel shop with lots of handcrafted items from Greek designers. It's been five years since our last visit, so the hotel needs a bit of a facelift and a few improvements to make sure it's ready for next season, but it's been a wonderful stay and we can't wait to come back.
