Hello. We stayed at the Secret View hotel at the end of May 2023. The hotel is perfectly located, just a 10-15 minute walk from the center of Oia It is very quiet and peaceful here. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and they are cleaned every day. The breakfasts are wonderful and very tasty. The staff is very friendly and makes the vacation unforgettable. Thank you so much. Next time, we will only stay here.

We have returned today from a wonderful stay at Secret View hotel. The hotel is picture perfect, very worthy of an insta post. Positives - couldn’t fault the staff, very attentive, girls in reception an ABSOLUTE JOY!! They really couldn’t do enough to assist, advise and to ensure that we had an outstanding stay. Pool bar staff-excellent. Very discreet and unobtrusive. Cold water was very welcome though and replenished often. Bar Food Menu- plentiful and not overly priced considering the location. Cocktail menu-excellent choice and again not too expensive. Hotel facilities-excellent. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, breakfast was fresh and plentiful. They did have an al-a-carte menu for breakfast which attracted an extra charge. We didn’t feel the need to order from the menu as every basis was covered. The rooms were modern, if a little small. We had to move the bedside table to get into the wardrobe, this was a little annoying if I’m honest but didn’t warrant a complaint. The only negatives that I can think of was the location from Oia, approximately 20-25 walk or a 5 minute taxi ride-at €15-25 each time, this can soon mount up! The only other negative is the limited out of hours room service menu, both cost and tray charge appeared excessive… we didn’t arrive until nearly midnight and there really was nowhere to eat. Apart from those 2 issues we really enjoyed our stay. Oia is very much an Insta v Reality place. So so busy so we wouldn’t return but it’s still worth a tick off the bucket list! …

The staff is lovely. The 2 outdoor pools very appealing. Great comfy poolside lounges. BUT hotel is isolated far from shopping, restaurants. Boring scenery with sea in distance. Basic simple rooms, bathrooms. Nothing special here at all unless you just want to lay by pool in close proximity to others and dine in a small cafeteria-like setting.

Our hotel is located 15 minutes walk from Oia and combines the quiet environment that our guests need and within a few meters is Oia with all the bars, restaurants etc. On arrival you informed us that you wanted to stay in the Caldera and we gave you a free upgrade there to our sister hotel for one night due to limited availability. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations regarding the location of our hotel, but all information is provided on our website. Secret. View hotel is a lovely hotel the staff are really friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble The location is really good just a 15 minute walk to Oia The breakfast was buffet style help yourself which was very good Our room was very spacious with a jacuzzi on the balcony with exceptional views The hotel was immaculate extremely clean There are 3 locals restaurants in the village or abundance of places to eat in Oia I would highly recommend this hotel it was very calming and relaxing

I could tell this was going to be a magical stay before I had even arrived. Staff were so helpful via email, answering my barrage of questions about local restaurants, arranging spa treatments and even a wine tasting for us. I just wanted to get our first wedding anniversary right and everyone I spoke to was amazing. We arrived at Secret View Hotel straight from another hotel and we’re therefore very early. We were offered a welcome cocktail and relaxed in the bar for an hour or so before a member of staff came over to give us all of the info on the local area. Unfortunately it was cold, grey and windy when we arrived so we decided to get a bite in the restaurant. There was no one else around but the staff were incredibly friendly and it felt like they were a little gutted for us about the weather. When our room was ready, the staff showed us up. We had been upgraded and given a room with a hot tub and the most spectacular view. We were elated! Over the course of our stay the weather got better, but with a hot tub, the wind really didn’t matter. I cannot stress enough how good the staff were throughout, every time we went out they would ask where we were going to eat and offer recommendations based on their personal experiences, the girls made my wife feel great and would always compliment her on her outfit of the day. Nothing was too much trouble and I really felt like they wanted to make our anniversary special. Our spa treatments were wonderful, the spa area is relaxing and the facilities were modern and fresh. Breakfasts were also fantastic. The selection was incredible and we woke up every morning looking forward to it. You’re situated a 15 minute walk from Oia and it’s actually quite a pleasant walk. On the day of our actual anniversary, we came back to our room to find the sweetest note from staff as well as a delicious cake made from pancakes, such a lovely touch, we were very moved by the gesture. As we had such a beautiful view and balcony area and we literally overlooked the White Rock Restaurant, I asked if we were able to order room service, but from the main restaurant menu, again, staff were more than happy to help, the 2 girls in the restaurant that evening were so lovely and brought our food to the balcony just in time for the sunset, they didn’t have to do that and was yet another example of the exceptional level of service from the staff. From beginning to end this was a perfect hotel experience. I really hope all of the staff that were part of our stay are made aware just how special we felt. One of the best stays which I will always remember! Visiting my beloved Santorini for the Luxury Side of Greece Conference was already a valid reason to be happy. Checking in at the hotel on a Friday night with a very warm welcome by Eirini and Alexandros who both genuinely asked how our trip was, I was with a colleague on separate rooms, mine was one of the aqua pool suites to which I was escorted by Eirini who also gave me a quick presentation of the room plus info in regards to the breakfast timings, place, etc. Then, we decided with my colleague to have dinner somewhere near by as it was late and the restaurants were closing soon. We got the best recommendations from Eirini who also called to confirm the timings and gave us directions on how to reach. My room was amazing, clean, beautiful colours to relax the Soul and Mind, spacious, with top notch amenities. Beautiful pool view. The breakfast has a variety of choices with many handmade products which I love, like marmalade, local products and even bougatsa! Beautiful view so as to start the day with full energy. My room was cleaned regularly and the towels were changed twice a day, I was even offered small chocolates as a treat on the second time around. I used the room service once and everyone from the reception until the final outcome were very courteous and highly professional. F&B Manager Giorgos was present both days and always asked if we needed anything further, the same happened with the rest of the team. All in all, what I want to emphasize is that the premises and amenities are top notch however what makes the experience unforgettable is the staff which consists from exceptional professionals who make sure you have the best time in a very gracious way! Globally the structure is nice, with 2 nice infinite pools and the room is clean and with enough space, but we can not define this hotel as a 5-star hotel. We did not expect a lot because of the location but expected a little more from the structure. PRO's: - Nice structure, spacious rooms (at least in the new part, we deduced that we were a new extension because we saw some pictures and this part didn't exist.) - Not so expensive for the Oia average, but not a low price - Globally nice staff - A welcome bottle of wine CON's: - Definitely not a five-star hotel, and we arrived and we didn't know where to go, nobody came to us for a welcome, someone just pointed us to the reception - The location: too far walk distance from Oia, they say they are 10min walking distance, but that is not true. Fortunately, we had a car, we tried to walk but we gave up, you have to walk on the side of a climbing road, no sidewalk. Not safe during the day, even less at the night. We think the hotel must propose a ride at least until the main road in front of Oia (in that way you will be 10min to the town; if not, count 30 mins). - Room: Ok, good size but very standard, nothing special, good quality bed linen, but the bed is a little too low. The pool view room is not very private. When we arrived at the room, the refrigerator was not connected, next day we want to use the phone and didn't work (that means the room is not properly checked) - Breakfast was average: not fresh fruit (only canned fruit), coffee is instant and you have to do it yourself, never saw this in a 5-star hotel No omelets or different kinds of eggs were proposed. We give 3 stars to the breakfast. - Restaurant: ok, nothing exceptional and expensive. We were surprised to know that they ask to pay extra for dining with a sunset view (and it is good to know that depending on the season you will not have sunset in front of you, like now in April). It is a shame to make guests pay extra for this. We had dinner in the town, with a view, without extras. - Parking: they announced private parking, and it is not. It is an open parking in front of the hotel. -We had to request new bath towels; when we used and were wet, the towels had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. - No turndown service as usually proposed in a 5-star hotel …

We are very sorry to read that your stay in our resort was not as enjoyable as expected and although we do not necessarily agree with all points raised we would still like to offer our apology for any inconvenience caused. Parking is private for our guests, but we do not have a doorman there to help you. The moment our reception team saw you, they came to help you. Regarding the room, we are very sorry that we encountered this technical problem. The turndown service since the first day the hotel opened is carried out every day from 18:00 to 21:00. Only if the customer has the "Do Not Disturb" sign we do not provide it. As it was our first days of operation and the weather has not been so good so far, we do not charge our customers extra for the sunset tables. As breakfast options we do have an a la carte menu with more dishes and a variety of coffees for an additional charge, but probably some of our staff did not inform you. We have shared your comments with our team and assure you appropriate steps have been made to correct the issues you encountered with service and hospitality. We only hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future, when we promise to go above and beyond in our efforts of delivering you with an exceptional experience. We booked a large number of rooms for most of our family for our son's wedding and it was one of the best decisions of the entire trip. The hotel itself is amazing - great location, amenities, food and views!!! The staff really made the difference - they were all so friendly, accommodating, and responsive, blending into and becoming part of the family. Every time we look at the pictures and reflect back on the entire trip, we always bring up the fact that this hotel and its staff were really amazing!!!

This beautiful boutique hotel, nestled in the outskirts of Finika, should not be a secret. This hotel is situated away from the hustle and bustle of the caldera but close enough to Oia (just a 10 min walk) with spectacular views of the island and sunset. The White Rock Restaurant is amazing! The food is fabulous. Even if you choose not to stay here, I highly recommend a lunch/dinner, you will not be disappointed! The cherry on top is the staff! I can’t say enough! Beginning from Alexandra in reservations, the hotel Manager Mr Kostantinos, the Food and Beverage Manager, Alessandro. Eleni, Thomas, KaLiori and staff at reception, all the young men at the Bar, all the wait staff at restaurant , valet, housekeeping , I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone, there are too many to name and equally as important. They were all very professional, eager to provide service at all times with a kind manner and smile. This team of individuals, give true meaning to the word Filoxenia ! We traveled to Santorini for our son’s wedding and chose to stay here. There were 40 of us, family and friends, and by the end of our stay, we felt the staff was extended family. As you can imagine, organizing a stay for for a party of this size could be challenging, however, Alexandra in reservations ensured all went smoothly. Eleni and staff at reception assisted with rental cars and all our other needs leading up to our stay, to insure that everything was in place. Alessandro, the food and beverage manager, along with the chef put together a beautiful dinner for 60 people on short notice and made sure that all food allergies were addressed! Again, the food was spectacular all of my guests are still raving about that evening!! Now, I have been to santorini four times and have always had a pleasant experience.
