This hotel is absolutely lovely and it's hands down the most amazing place I have ever been to on vacation! It is stunning, so beautifully designed, everything is always clean and tidy and I loved the white-washed architecture (same as a lot of buildings in Mikonos). The staff was so nice and welcoming, everytime we passed by a staff member they greeted us with a smile, sometimes asking how our day was or what we have planned for the evening, and always willing to help with recommendations for attractions and places to see and go. We booked three nights at Koukoumi, in the superior suite, and got upgraded to the executive suite which was awesome. A day before we arrived I asked them to arrange a little surprise in our room (flowers and wine) because it was my partner's birthday. They gladly fulfilled my request and offered to also prepare a cake for us which was so cute. There is a restaurant at the hotel where you will find the absolute best vegan food in all of Mikonos. Many different dishes, all delicious! The atmosphere is very pleasent and romantic. During our stay we tried eating at 2 other places (not vegan but woth veg-options) in Mikonos. The other places were good but just not as good as the hotel restaurant, so we kept eating most of our meals at the hotel. We booked only a half-pension so breakfast was included and other meals were not (btw the breakfast buffet is great and it was so fun and refreshing to see the wide selection of vegan options in a hotel breakfast!). But we were still able to reserve a table for lunch and dinner when we wanted. The restaurant is located by the pool and you chill at the pool you can order smoothies, cocktails and small meals from the restaurant which is really convenient. Other things to do at the hotel besides eating, chilling in your beautiful room or chilling at the pool - there is a great gym, highly equipped and you can come there by yourself or book a training session/yoga session with a professional trainer. We took a yoga class and afterwards decided to book another one. Also there is a great spa that offersdifferent kinds of massages and facial treatments It's important to mention that Koukoumi is a completely vegan boutique hotel. So if you are vegan and want an intimate and indulging vacation, this is the place for you! And if you aren't vegan, I suggest you try this place because it might change everything you thought you knew about vegan food, and even if it doesn't you will still have an amazing time here. To sum it up, Koukoumi is a great place to stay and I recommend it to anyone who wants to relax, eat good food and have a good time.

Property's Favorite Review
Overall a brilliant hotel with fabulous food. We stayed for a week in a master suite for our honeymoon. Loved the room really nice decor, well thought out and very clean with a lovely comfy bed. The tablet in room 6 didn't work unfortunately so we couldn't order breakfast to the room or do anything else on it and the menu prices are different on the tablet to the printed menus. We did tell reception but it still wasn't working when we left. The location is nice it is near a well known and pretty monastery. You probably need some form of transport to get about Mykonos as the hotel isn't in the old town which is fine, as we didn't need to be close by, but taxis in Mykonos are a bit of a nightmare so we hired a car. The hotel can hire the car for you and have the car delivered within an hour. The hotel has its own car park right next door and provides direct access to the swimming pool. Great pool area and lovely cocktails and other drinks (we adored the mocktails, and green koukoumi and choco grace smothie). Loved the food, great to stay in a place where you can pick anything to eat and it all be vegan. Our favourite food were the pasta dishes (ravioli and linguine) and chocolate soufflé and peanut butter desserts were so good!! We also liked the burgers, particularly the jackfruit one but would be great if they did a seitan one or something like beyond burgers. The portions are a little confusing some are a normal portion size and then others are very small. Would be useful if this was stated on the menu. Regardless to the size it is all very tasty the only dish we didn't like was the calzone. We had most of the food on the menu! It's quite hard being vegan in Mykonos so this hotel is a real gem as you always know you can get a great meal. Would be nice if the outside area of the master suite had a few small changes (room 6) the jet tub is pretty cold. I know its not a hot tub but its way to cold to use in the evening and even in the day time it was a bit cold. Would be good if the temperature was adjustable. A few long cushions down the side of the jet tub would be good too so you can lay under the shade. The outside area could also do with a table and chairs that you could eat at. There's a small low table and a little stall type thing but when your paying extra for an outside area it would be nice to be able to eat on your own terrace and have some seats to sit on. Would also be good if there was a sun shade like the ones by the pool that you could put up by the hammock as in the day time it's way to sunny to sit in this area as there's no shade at all. This applies to the master suite room 6, I don't know about the other rooms. Would be nice if the area out the back of the hotel was prettier as at the moment it's a bit bare and unattractive (dont know if its an area owned by the hotel or not). We didn't use the gym or spa but had a look and all looked great. We did use the main pool, which is a decent size to do some swimming. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast time is until midday, could do with an extra member of staff as the drinks were slow arriving most days. Overall we really loved the hotel and would definitely recommend for people wanting a clean, stylish, modern hotel with fresh tasty food.

We were looking for a vegan restaurant while on Mykonos and found this place! The food was incredible, fresh, vibrant! Definately recommend for all vegans and non vegans wanting to try delicious alternative to their daily diet (they might actually turn vegan afterwards 😄)
