Our favorite hotel on our trip to Greece! We booked a suite with a balcony overlooking the windmills and water. The hotel is in a great location in the heart of Little Venice. Only possible con is that this area is pedestrian only, so make sure you can carry/roll your luggage. This was not a problem for us because we pack light.
This is an impeccable property located in Old Venice, Mykonos Town. There are only a small number of suites and they are beautifully decorated. The rooms with a balcony look out directly over the water. The view while enjoying the specially made breakfast is amazing. Savor your morning Greek coffee while gazing at the iconic windmills of Mykonos. The suites are secure and located between Katerina's and Kastro's. It is easy walking distance to all restaurants and bars in Mykonos Town. One would think that being so near all the nightlife, noise may be a problem. In fact, the opposite is true. The only time I heard any sounds of the bars was on a Saturday night and they were very muted. The entire staff is outstanding. You can probably find a little less expensive accommodations in Mykonos, but none more perfectly located. So, treat yourself and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset from your own, personal balcony!…
My wife and I stayed in Bluetopia in Mykonos for 4 days during our visit to Greece last Month. Our stay was arranged by a travel agency as part of a Greek tour but I picked the hotel myself. I selected it based on the rave reviews. The hotel is a cute two floors boutique hotel at the edge of the island in Little Venice area. The hotel has just 5 rooms, 2 rooms on the ground/first floor then a short flight of stairs will take you to the rest of the rooms in the upper floor. Our room was in the upper floor, it had a nice balcony on the water facing the windmills where we enjoyed a fantastic sunset view and also where the hotel was serving our breakfast based on our selection from a menu and the time we asked to get the breakfast. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable and it had a huge walk-in steam shower. In general we found everything as advertised and we were very pleased with our stay. I like to give a shout out to the staff; both the front door ladies Niki and Tania were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Also the young man who brought the breakfasts to our room, should thank him for firmly screwing the balcony door in one evening that had a strong windy storm. A point to consider that I saw it mentioned in some reviews, it is a nitpick about the inaccessibility of cars to the hotel. This is true due to the nature of the narrow streets in the area and the hotel location itself on the water, there was about 5-10 minutes’ walk to the hotel. So if you have large luggage; you will need to either arrange a porter service or make sure you have strong muscles. In our case we have large heavy luggage, I am glad we arranged the help needed with our travel agency. Al in all it was enjoyable stay.…
Amazing hotel right on the water. Amazing views and sunsets. Sitting on the balcony for breakfast each morning was a really awesome experience. We had a steam spa room which we really enjoyed and used daily. Everything was perfect about our stay here.
I loved the hotel, the room was impressive, the view was wonderful, and the attention was spectacular, and the breakfast was very good. I loved . everything is well central and full of restaurants and bars. The only bad thing I would put is that they have a problem with the outside door when opening it, the key does not work and you can spend several minutes trying to open the door, thanks to a Greek man who works in front he helped us open the door, but for the rest everything is excellent
Amazing location, right in the midst of old town, but still quiet enough that you can sleep. Our balcony looked out over the windmills, which made it the perfect location to watch the sunset without paying outrageous drink prices. Staff were incredibly helpful - they helped us bring our admittedly large number of suitcases to the cab stand (no cars allowed in old town) and refused to accept a tip. Definitely would stay here again.
We were blown away by the stunning views from our balcony. Honestly the views are to die for. We were also lucky to be upgraded to probably the best room in this awesome boutique establishment. Service was excellent and they were super responsive in their email responses. Breakfast at the balcony was superb. I also checked the restaurant next door which charges a minimum €100 for a booth to get the sunset views but the hotel informed us we get the same views from our balcony, if not better. Miss this place already.
Bluetopia Suites could not have a better location in Mykonos! You are literally in the heart of Little Venice with charming shops and restaurants at your doorstep. We sat on our balcony every evening and enjoyed the sunset while watching the hoards of people lining up near the windmills for the same view. Yet, we never heard a sound at night and slept wonderfully. Our room was spotless with a great steam shower and all of the essentials (coffee, refrigerator) and more. Service was also fantastic and the ladies at the desk made dinner reservations and provided us with great advice on activities during our stay. Breakfast was also wonderful and served at your convenience on the amazing balcony every morning. I truly cannot think of a single thing they could have improved upon and would not hesitate to stay here again.…
The hotel is perfectly situated in the most quiet portion of the Old town ... all of the nightlife, but quiet enough to get rest when you are ready. Steps to the old port from which you can get to anywhere else you want to go. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic. The restaurant next door may have had the best food and views of our entire euro trip! Just dont leave your food unattended outside, the seagulls are hungry 😋
Stay somewhere else. Photos look great but trust me they are deceiving- rooms much smaller than pictured and all rooms don’t have a sea view- some stare at a building with laundry hanging on the balcony’s across the way with telephone wires so close the curtain could get caught on it in the wind. Curtains don’t even cover windows fully- no privacy! Stairs only here so be prepared to haul your luggage up stairs- also don’t expect to be met at the port to get help with your luggage or find the location- you are on your own! not sure who was working that gave other guests such great hospitality because we got none. The rudest receptionist I have ever encountered. Sure, breakfast is tasty and it is clean but that’s all I can say positive.
