We have stayed at Sardis many times, it’s very quiet the rooms are nice and the food is great, it’s situated near the beach which most days is nearly empty, it’s walkable to the Chora but there is a bus and an island taxi if you don’t fancy the walk, we’ll be back next year

Just got back from visiting this quiet island with the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. We chose to stay to Sardis Rooms where Beba (God Bless Her) the owner treated us like family. The rooms were spacious mine renovated and extremely clean, very comfy. The restaurant is in the front where Beba does her magic. Where do I start, she starts every day with a big smile, her food Greek cuisine, fish, veggies from her garden, DELICIOUS, and very reasonable. She was A Star Hostess, we will be forever friends, the beach very close Heavenly, I hope to go back So Go to Bebas LOVE

Rooms absolutely value for money! Very nice people! Friendly, kind and very good at their jobs! Great restaurant, local dishes with fresh and quality ingredients! Delicious breakfast with Beba's homemade marmelade! Will definitely visit again!

Kimolos is a very small and wild island lost in the Aegean, where time appears to have stopped. If you like the concept, go there! "Sardis" is in fact an excellent (recommended!) seafood restaurant located in ALIKI, a few miles West of the capital and harbour (10 mins drive). The restaurant owners simply had some rooms built behind the restaurant, far enough so as the customer is not bothered by the restaurant's inevitable noise. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, water has pressure, the mattress is great (hard). The hotel is conveniently located at walking distance from the beaches of Aliki, Bonatsa and Kalamitsi, which are the best when the Nothern Meltemi wind is blowing. We enjoyed 4 nights in this lovely family run hotel by the beach. Beba the owner picked us up from the ferry & dropped us back when we left which was great. The room was spacious & spotlessly clean. There was a big balcony where we could relax & admire the sea view. Food at the adjoining family run taverna was amazing & great atmosphere. The staff were always ready to help out with a smile. Would definitely stay here again if lucky enough to return to beautiful Kimolos.

Stayed here with a friend for a week at the end of September. We were the only two people staying there and the kitchen was being dismantled for end of season cleaning throughout the week, so there was no breakfast. No breakfast, no people, and you need some kind of transport to drive or ride to the small town of Chorio. We had a car so we could get round the island. Room and shower were clean, bed comfortable. The beach 100m from the rooms is bare and bleak, but if you walk ten minutes to the right, you come to a better beach with tamarisk trees. If you want to go there book a ling time in advance so that you can be there 'during the season'

It's second stay at Sardis for us. Beba the lady owner and her son Dimitris are just so kind. The food is typical of Cyclades and so good! The place is silent and rooms are clean. What can we dream else??

Classic island rooms, simple but clean. 20m from the beach. The food at Beba (tavern of same ownership)was the BEST we tried in the whole island! Prices of both rooms and food very reasonable and the hospitality is great. Strongly recommend it. Thanks Themis

Our hosts, Beba and Themis, were utterly charming and very helpful. We ate in their attached restaurant, (very convenient), most evenings and enjoyed lovely food with good friendly service. Our room, number 7, was very comfortable and spacious with lovely views of the countryside and sea. The 3 beaches close by are easy to walk to and the swimming in the beautiful clear turquoise water is just heaven. We would recommend Kimolos to anyone who likes quite relaxing holidays and to stay in Sardis Rooms. We will definitely go again.

Old hotel grubby old rooms. Hotel in middle of nowhere,says on there web site 600 meters from port, 4kms at least. I sat in hotel restaurant over an hour never asked if I wanted drink or even given menu. Hotel overpriced. Yes it is on beach but that is shingle & not very nice. They did collect me from ferry. Kimolos is totally dead, nothing here. Don't bother. Apparently there is 1 bus on island but nobody knows timetable. Only real option is taxi or hire 🚗
