Glaros studios and apartments are perfectly positioned overlooking the sea. The property is kept immaculately clean and well maintained. The owners have tried to ensure that anything required is already provided. They work hard to make sure that guests are comfortable in beautifully decorated accommodation. All rooms are unique and have wonderful views. The atmosphere is one of total relaxation.
Outstanding place to stay in. Clean and beautiful houses. Really warm and great owners. Perfect location - quiet place and just a short and nice walk in to town. And just footsteps to empty beaches and nature. I would love to come back here again!
Glaros is a gem. It is peaceful, beautifully maintained and located just close enough to the harbor, but just far enough away to feel secluded. The owners are friendly and helpful, and speak excellent English. It makes me happy that this kind of classic Greek hospitality still exists on an island that is rapidly changing and developing. We spent a lot of our holiday just sitting on our terrace, enjoying the view and going for the occasional swim - we felt at home here. There are a couple of cats roaming around the premises. They are healthy and friendly, so if you are a cat person you will feel even more welcome at Glaros.
After many times visiting Antiparos for just one day, we decided to stay on this quit little island east of Paros for a week. We found this place on the internet and thought this would suit us. Quietly situated on a headland overlooking Paros and about 5 minutes walk to the center is this the perfect place to stay. Clean spacious rooms with a modern shower and a fully stocked refrigerator. Anna, our friendly host, picked us up at the harbor and also provided beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella. We had such a fantastic time, we decided to come back again next month.
Loved it all. Simple, spacious rooms with spectacular sunrise views over Paros. Warm and friendly, family run business - Anna, Alexi and the cats made me really feel at home. Hidden away in a secluded corner of the island, but with quick and each access to town and beaches. Antiparos is a gem of an Island. Will definitely be returning to the Glaros.
We have just returned from a wonderful week at Glaros, our studio steps walked straight out to the garden & beach with the most glorious view of the sunrise! My husband loved to walk out first thing in the morning for a swim in the sea. It’s a very lovely walk to the nudist beach which is sandy, quite rugged but still easy to do wearing flip flops. We hired pushbikes & it’s also a nice ( bit bumpy) ride to the beach & into town for all the shops/restaurants etc. Our hosts Anna & Alexei were so welcoming & friendly, we felt like part of the family! As we were on a yoga retreat held at Glaros ( Bamboo Yoga Retreat) half board food was included, Anna’s cooking is spectacular! We will definitely miss it - though my waistline won’t! We have loved every minute of our Antiparos experience & will most definitely be returning with our children next time! Thank you Anna & Alexei for everything xxx…
We stayed here for 4 nights in September. My only regret is that we did not stay longer. Glaros apartments are run by the marvellous Anna and her husband Alex, who will pick you up (and drop you off ) at the port, which is about 1 kilometre away. The apartments are light and airy and situated on a peninsula outside Antiparos Town, which attracts the cooling breeze which seems to blow over the nearby water. There are typical Greek gardens between the apartments and the waters edge, which are beautiful for sitting in early evening with a drink as the sun’s light emphasises the colours on neighbouring Paros. The waters are fine for an early morning (or late evening) dip - which I frequently did - but better beaches are found elsewhere. I spent a couple of afternoons alone on the strip of sand to the right of the apartments. Glorious. The kitchen and bathroom are kitted out with top of the range accessories, and the bedroom and living room are thoughtfully designed with lovely little touches, such as storage spaces and plenty of electrical sockets. The bedroom came with a mosquito net, though not once were we bothered by them. The best parts are the terraces - we had two at the back overlooking Paros and one at the front which faces west. The terraces come furnished with tables, chairs and deck chairs. I was unable to take my eyes away from the view of Paros at night. It is just mesmerising. The photo shows the view that the terrace afforded us. The town is about a 10-15 minute walk away where there are many tavernas and a beautiful Main Street with lovely craft shops etc. Glaros is not near any nightlife, so only stay here ( or indeed Antiparos) if you want peace and quiet. Having Greek island hopped for over 20 years, visiting over 30 islands in that that time, Glaros apartments are hands down the highest standard accommodation we have stayed in (in the price bracket) during that time. In fact, the main reason we keep revisiting Antiparos is so that we can stay at Glaros apartments.…
I had a very well equipped studio apartment with lovely balcony. It was cleaned spotlessly everyday. Glaros is owned by a lovely couple and their family and Sophia the cat . Like all the locals I met they are very warm and hospitable. It Is situated in a beautiful location a short walk from the small town centre. I was on a yoga retreat and therefore they cooked brunch for us everyday. The food was simply divine. They worked very hard at cooking for such a big group and there was always so much food and variety. The locality was lovely with stunning shops and bars and several pretty beaches nearby. You can hire bikes very easily in the town which is a great way to get around and felt very safe. As for antiparos ... what a charming place. Such lovely people running the restaurants and cafes. Nothing ever is too much trouble. …
After visiting last year, we returned for another two weeks this year. Put simply, this is our favourite place to stay in Greece. Glaros is a small clutch of apartments and studios close to the sea with uninterrupted views across the water to Paros. It is set in 12 acres and the gardens are a labour of love. It is quiet, relaxed and the accommodation is spotlessly clean. Anna and Alexis are warm, welcoming hosts. Delightful. Antiparos town is just a 15 minute walk away and there are good beaches close by. Charming.
Wonderful location right on a private beach, rooms are very confortable, fully equipped, quiet and shining clean. Anna and her husband are wonderful hosts, helpful and very kind to the guests. I wish I could stay longer, but I will certainly go back.
