The location is key for accessing the village and beach of Aigiali, but in the same time you are close to the main road and bus station for exploring the nearby villages by car or bus. The parking yard opposite the hotel also helps a lot. Room amenities were more than adequate (I got a budget room, since I was there only for one night). The owner was super friendly and collaborative, she even took the initiative to suggest i took a cheaper room. Walking distance to all restaurants and camping is also accessible on foot with some extra effort. Would definitely stay there again!

We booked a double and twin and received a very warm welcome at Pelagos. We enjoyed sea views from the rooms and it was a short walk into town to watch the sunset and eat dinner. The owner was very helpful and booked us taxis (there aren't many on the island, so if you are arriving at the other port it is definitely worth booking a pick up in advance!) Breakfast is extra and we enjoyed it.

We absolutely loved Amorgos - our highlight was visiting the stunning monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa, built into the rockface near Chora, where you are greeted by the friendly monks. It is a short walk down to a beautiful beach and a wonderful 4 hour walk back to Aegeli (not the smoothest of paths, but remote, rugged and stunning - we only met 2 other couples the whole time)

Perfect for a stage of a few days. You can see the sea but not the seafront. Excellent Value Award. Very clean, very welcome from the boss. Good size room recent shower room. A brunch breakfast is offered for 8€ very complete (fresh fruit salad eggs in the flat or omelet fresh orange juice.......) Parking is dirt and stones but it exists and is free

I stayed here for just 1 night last year and was determined to go back and managed to fit in 4 nights in 2024. I was not disappointed.
The room I had was spotlessly clean, had comfortable beds, a modern bathroom and the most amazing view over the bay and sunset.
A few minutes walk and you are in the heart of the village.
Sofia could not have been more helpful. There were a couple of occasions when I asked to borrow random items all of which were provided with a smile. It feels like nothing is too much trouble.
I have stayed in many types of Greek accommodation over the years but this has to be one of the best value and friendliest places I have been to.
Thank you Sofia for a wonderful stay and I hope to be back next year.

Nice establishment very well maintained and always clean. Sofia, the property owner is of a kind extreme. She called me before we arrived to tell us that we had a car available in the port parking lot, so we were able to rent it during our stay at an unbeatable Award. Very good value for money. Breakfast possible for 8 euros and very complete.
Very good bedding. Small flat, no kitchenette and bathroom with toilet, very small.

The owner Sofia gave us fantastic service. We rented a very clean and comfortable hotel room with a renovated modern bathroom. We had a fantastic balcony overlooking the bay with perfect sunsets over the island of Naxos in the distance. We were also able to rent a car directly from Sofia’s own car rental right at the hotel. We look forward to going back to the Pelagos! Thanks very much for a great experience Sofia!

Very nice and clean hotel. Prices are good and you can also rent a car from them. She will take care of this as well as everything Mrs. Sophia solves all problems. If I go back to the island, I will stay again. The hotel offers breakfast and is next to Agialis Square.

I booked a room for one night in this place by e-mail, about two weeks in advance. Everything looked nice on the webpage and the staff wrote to me that they would meet me in the harbour when I arrived at 02.00 in the night, and that I would get a nice room with a balcony. After a long, exhausting day of flights and ferries, I arrived and saw some people from hotels, but none from Pelagos. Since the ferry was on time, I waited for about half an hour until I walked to the hotel. Finally there, the reception was closed and the owner wouldn't answer me on any of the phone-numbers when I tried to call. Some nice Greek youths who stayed at the hotel tried to help me find her but we didn't succeed. At last, I walked to a nearby hotel where they called the woman at Pelagos to wake her up. She didn't even apologize properly (just said that they were having some problems) and tried to make me pay for a room in the basement - it was hot, smelled like smoke and had a tiny fan. When seeing my reaction, I got to stay there one night for free. That actually felt like the least they could do. This kind of trouble is not what a lone traveller wants after a long nights journey...

Our Greek holiday had a hiccough in the middle when the ferry was cancelled and the alternative was to arrive in Aegialia and not Katapola after 2 in the morning. Dimitris was the first person we phoned- the price was right and the his "but of course" to meeting us at the port in the early hours of the morning sealed the deal! He was there with his wife Sofia and we just knew it was the right place to stay!! The apartment was much like the island -spacious, uncomplicated and essentially Greek and our stay there was wonderful after the hustle and bustle of the other islands.True Greek hospitality came to the fore on the last day however when we wanted to explore Katapola before out ferry left but had heavy suitcases. "No problem!!" said Sofia who offered to take our luggage at no extra cost leaving us free to go earlier by bus. Half way there my daughter realised that she had left her silver heirloom ring at the busstop. A phone call to Dimitris, "no problem" to go and look for it, and ONLY IN AMORGOS, found it!!! Sofia and Dimitris arrived at the port with our luggage and the ring and big smiles as always- now that is service!! But of course!!!!
