4th stay at Uranos studios. A place not only magnificent but quality services which more than justify the price. Neat decor, impeccable cleanliness, comfortable bedding, terrace where you can enjoy meals and completely satisfactory equipment in the kitchen (small sink for dishes, cutlery, plates, work surface, etc.), spacious bathroom . Plus, little touches (honey, delicious jams, coffee, butter...). Without doubt one of the best addresses in Amorgos. Thanks to Sophia and Despina for the welcome and availability.

Splashed out and stayed on the top floor with a huge roof terrace and breathtaking views over the harbour. The room was big, comfy bed and very clean and had everything we needed. The owner was a delight. Lovely local restaurant with great food just a few mins walk away. Walk in to town is great through narrow winding streets, the walk up is tough but with the prize of the spectacular views totally and utterly worth the effort. A great place to enjoy the delights of this quaint little town with some stunning walks and beaches close by.

I was surprised by this small pension and curious before booking.
Was greatly surprised and enchanted by the beautiful and tasteful room and view with the patio overlooking the bay. Parking was easy and then we walked daily up and down to the village.

Nice small pension in Amorgos (Aegiali), great view and very nice discreet owner (Nikos), the pension located in Potamos area quite far from the port and the beach but offers a great view of Aegiali bay. Important to have a car or motor bike in order to explore Amorgos.

View from Uranos is magic, overlooking Aegiali bay. Nikos, the owner, is very kind and helpful. Rooms (at least at ground floor) are rather humid and furniture is oldish, cleaning is ok. Aircon or fan should be supplied for the price asked, it's true it's not always needed in Amorgos but some nights it would be welcome.

I can say that I am satisfied from my stay in Uranos pension. In general the owner, Nikos, offers what he promises in his website. The place is in a small village called Potamos above of Aegiali. Our room has stunning view from the yard, and it is quiet. Just a reminder, it is not in front of the sea. So you will need transportation in order to go to Aegiali in 5-10 minutes. In other case, it is 25-35 minutes challenging, walking distance.
We stayed four nights in room 5. We were two, but the place can accomodate also a third person. We even had a better price. So it was good value for money.
The place was clean during our whole stay. The only flaw was that they change the towels only, not the sheets.

The view at Uranos has been amazing! Having breakfast there was exceptional. And Nikos was very nice. However we were disappointed to find out that the room was not well looked after, very humid and not very clean. If rooms will be a little bit better maintained this could be a great place.

Our stay in Uranos was great, we stayed in Studio 3, a nice studio well decorated and with a fantastic view on Aigiali Bay. It was a real pleasure to eat and rest on that balcony with that incredible view. The host is really discret, peacefull and still carefull about our stay. Also this place is really calm it is very restfull.
However the host won't get you at the port of Katapola since it is quite far to Potamos.
But we had a perfect stay in this location.

The appartements are beautiful, the view wonderfull & the owner is not very present but very smiling & available whenever needed.
The bathroom is working fine but is not very pleasant. We had a studio called cellar and we loved it : very original place with great terrace.
To remember : a car or scooter is needed to go to the hotel everyday, it is way to high to go by foot everyday (mostly Under the sun !)
We loved this place a lot & totally recommand it

The pension combines simplicity of form (striking architecture), functionality (e.g the extra useful kitchenette) with beautiful location (amazing sunset views) and overall Cycladic charm (hospitality and folklore). It is managed very efficiently by Mr Nikos Vekris, who is extremely helpful and accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with. There is also daily cleaning service that ensures the rooms are very well kept, and completes a picture of high competence and professionalism that guarantees you wont have to worry about your accommodation needs if you chose this location.
But, book early, as Uranos Pension is (deservedly) very popular.
Also, it is preferable to have a car, so that you can visit nearby unspoiled beaches and villages for tasty restaurants and tavernas.
All in all, an excellent choice, and one we would select again without thinking twice.
