The rooms are clean and I think all have view to the sea. Make sure however that you confirm this. The kitchenette is somewhat primitive in some rooms so make sure you confirm this too. There is one room above the reception that is large but has no kitchen just some kitchen appliances and it is impossible to cook. However... More

The place is worth by the great views. Every evening you have an overwhelming sunset from your balcony (see picture). Superb location, and friendly staff. Rooms are big enough and clean. Shower plate is a bit narrow, and depending on the room you will have to climb many stairs, but this is a condition of the geology of the place.... More

Stayed six nights in this ideally situated small, friendly hotel. Owners, Nikitas and Gallina were most welcoming. The rooms are comfortable, all with balconies overlooking the port area and bay, great for capturing a stunning sunset. Cleanliness is exceptional. Excellent breakfast. The location of the hotel is just a minute away from shops, tavernas etc., but far enough away from... More

We returned to this hotel in September 2015 having first stayed here in 2011. The quality of this hotel is still as high as it was then. The delightful friendly owners providing pleasant , very clean, comfortable rooms with good air con. and excellent breakfasts. All this with superb views over the harbour and within a couple of minutes of... More

Wonderful View Quiet big room - we were 4 and the room eas big enough for 4 of us. The view from the balcony is wonderful. Very near to the cafes, restaurants, bakery and market. Very clean. Not luxurious.

This is a small family run hotel in an ideal position in Aegiali. It is just outside the port so away from the noise of the centre but only a few minutes walk from tavernas and the harbour. Lovely views from a small balcony. Breakfast was available but we used the facilities in our room to provide it. One thing... More

Enjoyed another week at Filoxenia at the end of May. Nikitas kindly met us at Katapola. Galina's English is better than her husband's. This time we enjoyed breakfast - juice, yoghurt, fabulous fresh bread and Galina's lovely homemade cake! Another wonderful welcome from this family. The sunsets are exceptional.

Our stay at Filoxenia was just perfect - the rooms were simply furnished but bright and clean with fantastic unimpeded views over the ocean (the balconies are perfectly situated for sunset worshippers). The location was excellent - 1 minute walk from a row of excellent cafes and restaurants, 2 minutes to the centre of the village and 5 minute walk... More

The views from the rooms are good, but if you have room 6, at the top left hand-corner, it's not quite so good as some of the others. The owner met me from the ferry, but I hardly saw him for the rest of the week. Breakfast is extra and to be honest, not really worth the money. The furnishings... More
