It was great to return again to this wonderful hotel. All the staff are so helpful, always with a smile. They really do make you feel welcome. The breakfast is just amazing. The room is sheer luxury. We interacted with Athina the most and she was such a lovely ray of sunshine. Thank you all.

The hotel was beautiful and very well made in the old city of Rethymno, so did the staff (very kind, smiling and helpful), the breakfast and the cost! I would definitely come back and suggest other visitors as well.

We spent two unforgettable nights not only because the hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable, but mostly thanks to the friendliness of the staff who made us feel most welcome. Very good breakfast.

Wow! What a great owner, or manager, or even just staff member. We could not have felt more welcomed to our week long hotel stay at Casa Vitae. Breakfast was included, helpful information was given, the rooms was beautiful (Daphne), and it is steps away from shopping and restaurants. Better to come in the summer when things are actually open,...

I normally stay elsewhere when I visit Rethymnon on business, so I did not know about this hotel. Well I am glad I found out, because it is truly very good. It is conveniently situated in the old town but very near the parking spaces by the football ground. Everything is within a few minutes walking distance. It is a...

We stayed just for one night during the winter season. Everything was perfect. Staff was very helpful and welcome. Breakfast was tasty and Efi was a great hostess. During winter prices drop significantly and it's an excellent choice, we plan to come back.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the beginning of October 2016 in this small, high-end boutique hotel in the Rethymno old town and we very much enjoyed our stay. There are 8 distinct and well-appointed guestrooms and a delightful courtyard with a pomegranate tree at the entrance, a large fountain, and a covered breakfast/sitting area. Breakfast is included...

It's difficult to add to what others have already stated about this gem! As far as we could see, it was an all female staff and what a delight they were--from start to finish. The staff recommended a restaurant, Othonas, and we ate there twice. Excellent choice. If you are headed to Rethymnon, this boutique hotel is perfect.

We stayed in early October for 5 nights. As others have said, it is in a small alley so no parking available but there is plenty of free parking on the car park and the streets round the sports stadium behind the fortress. The welcome couldn't have been more pleasant. We were greeted warmly and our cases were taken to...

A very warm welcome, great atmosphere, lovely surroundings and in the heart of the old town. Staff were very friendly and eager to please and there is a very nice courtyard where they served a generous breakfast in the morning.
