The location of the hotel is good: not in the center of Rethymno - to get there you need a taxi (5 minutes riding) or 30 minutes walk, - yet nice district full of restaurants and souvenir shops with a pleasant beach in 2 minutes from it. The hotel itself is small and cozy with a tiny pool, and a cozy hall & bar zone. I stayed in the small "junior suite" room for 2 people. It has a small balcony with a table and pair of chairs, a nice king-size bed. The refrigerator and the hairdryer are in the room. Toilet and shower room are separate. The tub locates in the living room but is conveniently separated from the "bedroom" zone by a kind of wardrobe. I find the room too small, yet for the price it's okay and I'm content with what I got. The best part of this hotel is the cuisine. It's better than in the restaurants & taverns over there - even better than those ones my guide recommended to visit. The food is always fresh, diverse, and jolly delicious! The staff is excellent - very heartfelt and helpful persons. There are no toothbrushes\slippers\toothpaste in the room. I also had to buy a better shampoo & soap. But that's not a big deal. Generally, I definitely recommend you to stay there.…

(Polska wersja poniżej) I would like to highly recommend Dimitrios Beach Hotel as a great place to stay for your holiday trip. We've spent there 11 days and I'm very satisfied. At the begging lady in the receptions quickly gave us few tips and 1 page to fill up due to Covid restrictions and she showed us our room. Room was nice and cosy. There is a separate toilet and big shower. Nice balcony with table and chairs. Small fridge is hidden in a wardrobe so you can drop bottle of water or beer. Room was cleaned every day, towels changed as well. There is a aircon and Wi-Fi in the room - works not bad. Breakfast 7-10 / Lunch 13 - 14:30 / Dinner 19-21 All inclusive outside bar is 10-22. Regional drinks and beer. No limit at all. Food is very good, you can choose from plenty of dishes - can't try all of them! You can also have ice creams which are delicious as well. We had a very pleasant stay, Crete is a beautiful and diverse island nature wise. You can see beaches, mountains, wildlife and more. The hotel is placed near a one way road going to the boulevard, the road can get quite busy during the day and evening. Near the hotel there are local restaurants, a supermarket, a pharmacie and a very good bakery which we can recommend. Our room was neat, clean and it looked quite new. It had a few downsides. The shower for example was not working properly, switching from hot to cold and vice verse. Also the bed was very hard for our taste as it is a mattress filled with springs. Also because I am very tall my feet would not fit, that is however very common for me. The restaurant was very clean and pitoresque. It was lovely to sit there. The food was good but not great and not very diverse. The first four days during our 12 day stay we ate at the restaurant and tried most of the dishes. After that we went out for dinner, which must be said is not expensive at all. The bar was good, it had a nice variety of drinks, though for an All inclusive holiday I thought it strange we had to pay for drinks after 10 PM. The personnel was very friendly, the brother and sister (Mario and Nicolette) were really great in particular and we had a lot of fun with them. As for the pool I must say it was a nice spot. You almost cannot here the traffic on the outside and you feel very secluded. We liked that very much. Because it is not that large of a pool there aren't a lot of sunbeds. Also people go lay their towels down to claim them very early, which is quite annoying. On the other hand, we were really disappointed that you didn't mention that your bed was uncomfortable; we always find a solution if we know about the problem. The same goes for the shower; there is nothing we cannot fix but we prefer being informed before and not when the guest is gone. About our All Inclusive policy you should have been informed when you booked, we are really sorry it didn't happen and you were caught by surprise. I really recommend this hotel, the staff is really friendly, communicative and open to any suggestions. We felt like home and very wellcomed here with our 2 girls. Everyone was smiling and ready to help us anytime. The rooms are very clean and there was enough space for the 4 of us. Everyday cleaning and desinfection. There was very quite and relaxing to stay here. The food was also very tasty and various and also suitable for kids too. The beach is also very close to the hotel approx 5min walk to the beach.

We spent 10 days here, all inclusive. The hotel is about 100 meters from the beach, with easy access to the sea. Especially this beach section has a better entry than the hotels left or right (stoniness). We could park our rental car either in front of the hotel or about 120 meters further on the beach parking lot (in the postseason no problem). The hotel does not have its own parking lot, but if we looked at the parking lots of the surrounding hotels (since you really should have only a small car and may rank rank it well), we were very glad, that we could park this way. The food in the hotel was very good, always fresh and never swept! The plates were always filled up before they were empty. The staff was permanently at the table service ready, no waiting time. In addition, we were received very warmly and looked after, almost as if you belong to the family. No bad word, no consolation or "disregard". Just honestly, sincerely! The guests are either individual package or group travelers, rather couples, little children. So the hotel was very quiet, no parties are celebrated until late into the night. Me and my partner stayed here back in May 2019 for a weeks holiday we went all inclusive and we was very happy with the hotel, staff and food throughout the week. We didn’t see any children here, so it’s probably more suited to couples and friends. But if you were to take the kids I can imagine it would be a problem. Overall a great holiday.

We had a wonderful week at this hotel in Rethymnon last week. Everything is at the height, the comfort of the rooms, the cleanliness, the quality of the food, but it must be especially mentioned the personnel who act and behave extraordinary with the hotel guests - special thanks to Marian and Nicoleta who create a special atmosphere around the hotel bar. The hotel is located in a quieter area of the city, is close to the beach and you can find around beautiful shops and taverns The atmosphere at the hotel is friendly and we spent an unforgettable holiday week. In conclusion, the hotel is a serious option to consider when planning a vacation in Rethymnon which I definitely recommend Ευχαριστω πολυ

We spent a week at this cosy hotel with a 1 year old. The hotel is a wonderful and relaxing experience, The staff is incredible, the short distances to the restaurant from the rooms (which had amazing food), the very clean room, corridors, pool area and the genuine cosy and friendly atmosphere makes this hotel our number one choice from now on. The only negative was that upon arrival we were given a room that had a strong smell of sewer coming from both the drain in the shower and the drain in the toilet (they were in separate cubicles) . The smell kept us awake most of that first night. The girl at the front desk was familiar with the smell problem when I mentioned it and we were upgraded to a larger room with no sewer smell the very next day. We´ve stayed in many great 4 star hotels and resorts but this one is our number one choice from now on. We truly loved everything and especially the people working there. We spent 10 amazing days at the hotel. The room and everything in the hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly, Katherina welcomed us and she was very kind. We were travelling with 3 small kids and the hotel Is very child friendly, it was a great holiday for all of us, we will be back for sure:)

A week in Dimitrios Beach Hotel passed to fast for me and my wife. The hotel is close to the beach (about 50 meters away), but a little far from the Old Center (about 3 km), where u can get, though, bz taxi for only 5 euros. Rooms - clean every day, new furniture, but a little bit strange style, with a kind of... open space with the bathroom (some may not like it). TV with a lot of options, AC for free. Only the safe costs 2 euros/day. Food - a lot of options everytime, good variety, we liked it a lot. Bar service - perfect all the time, our romanians, Nicoleta and Mario, being so kind with all the clients. Also, owner of the hotel, mr. Dimitrios is every evening there, taking care that all the people feels good. Every week, there are 3 events into the bar zone: Cretan dance, Oriental dance and some guys singing, of course, greek music. Good atmosphere all the time! The only minus was, for us, the bad wi-fi into the room. Worked ok only in the front desk zone.…
