I stayed there for 4 nights in August with my two children... Wow! What a amazing hotel definitely hidden pearl of Rethimno. Hospitality 11/10 nothing was to much trouble for lovely Eleni, alfresco alacarte breakfast including freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruits and local pastries was outstanding. Rooms tastefully decorated with breathtaking historical features beautifully displayed. Thank you & I be back...
If you have car. Forgot it. Hard to park. Our bed was lumpy. It had a good location in old town, but you don’t want to bring a car. Park somewhere around Old Town and take a cab to hotel. The staff was friendly and inviting. Oh, the WiFi was sporadic
On a day trip to Rethimno yesterday I fancied a light lunch and in a narrow side street were empty tables. I asked the woman at reception (because this seems to he a hotel too) for a cheese and ham omelette and when it arrived it looked like a greasy thin pancake folded in two. In a basket were two small slices of white bread. No presentation, no imagination, and from me no enjoyment. When I paid the woman gave me a handful of 20 cent coins in change. Luckily it was a one off because I certainly wouldn't return
A beautiful old building in the old town. Located in pedestrian area so you must park outside but staff are helpful with parking directions. Lovely individually decorated rooms some with balconies. Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff and extremely comfortable rooms and excellent value! Breakfast is also included when you book directly with the hotel website. Highly recommend!
Hotel Leo is an adorable hotel located in the heart of Old Town Rethymno, with a very short walk to the beaches and great restaurants. The staff there were amazing and very accommodative. We arrived late our first night and they were nice enough to wait for us. The breakfasts each morning were delightful, with fresh fruit and eggs and a full menu. We will absolutely stay here again in the future and couldn’t recommend the hotel highly enough. 5 star experience.
