It was a wonderful vacation. Liked everything! 1. Location - 5 minutes to the beach, restaurants, a large supermarket across the road (which has everything), to the old town, lighthouse, fortress - 20-25 minutes walking along the embankment. The windows of our room overlooked the pool, it was quiet, we slept great. And you could see the dawn 2. Breakfasts. Everything is delicious and there is a choice - Greek salad, very tasty pastries, vegetables, olives, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, fruit, yogurt, milk. We ate our fill. 3. Staff. Very nice, they helped with everything - calling a taxi, and telling us how to get where. When we went on excursions, they offered a lunch box. 4. Cleaning. They cleaned every day (very well), changed towels. And what touched me was that every time they laid out towels in the form of bows on the bed) 5. Beach. The entrance to the water is gradual, the beach itself is sandy, but there are small stones when entering the water, but they did not cause any inconvenience at all. We went to the beach where you could order food/drinks and use an umbrella and sunbed for free. The sea in this place often has small waves, which made many happy. 6. In the room. There was a small kitchen, with all the necessary utensils, even a washcloth and dishwashing detergent (you don't see that often). The furniture is new, modern. There was a hairdryer and soap. On the balcony there is a drying rack, a table and 2 chairs. 7. Territory and pool. The area is not large, but well-groomed. The pool is clean, there is a separate area for children where it is shallow. There is a small children's playground.
I don't have a single complaint about the hotel, everything was great.

Hotel of average conditions. Our room was internal, therefore also quite quiet, of adequate size for two, with a kitchenette (which we never used). Also equipped with a very small balcony no. The decent sized bathroom with hairdryer. Really plentiful breakfast. A few meters from the seafront with equipped beaches. Only the center of the "nightlife" is a little further away, but not excessively: with a walk of about a quarter of an hour you can easily arrive. Very friendly and welcoming staff

As a family we stayed for 2 weeks at the Eltina hotel. Everyone in the hotel made us feel welcome. The room/apartment was large enough for 3 people. We even had a kitchen and nice bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice. We walked about 30 minutes to the center of Rethymnon but it was a nice walk along the promenade. The beautiful beach was also reachable within 5 minutes from the hotel. We had a great stay at the Eltina Hotel!! Very hospitable!!

It is not so easy to write a helpful review, perfect hotel for someone could be the worst for onother one. But... Eltina Hotel is great for long stay, is located 100meters from the beach, next to supermarket but few kilometers from central bus stop, taxi costs 6-7 euros to get there. Atmosphere in the hotel is great, staff helpful and smiling. The room was cleaned every day. Hotel has an outside pool so You can relax in the water if you don't want to swim in the sea. Of course Eltina Hotel is not a five star hotel but is a really nice place. Room is equipped with a stove and oven , tableware so the guests can cook dishes by yourselves.

Fabulous hotel with good rooms. We got a small two room apartment with a lot of space. First we got one at the first floor but people could se everything we did. So we wanted to change. They were very helpful and fixed it for us. Fine breakfast kind staff and a clean swimmingpool.

Extremely beautiful!! The owner is so friendly. It’s really clean and the environment is perfect. The breakfast was also really nice. It’s only like 5 minutes by foot from the beach and it has a supermarket next to it. The pool has 2 levels and it’s clean too. 100% recommended.

I already uploaded plenty of photos for travelers proper info , I booked the room via booking.com , all the photos they have there are fake and photoshopped for sure . I was supposed to stay 2 nights instead I left the next morning , the supposing superior room I booked was a small simple room next to an old elevator that every time somebody used it , made a horrible noise like a church bell was ringing inside your room , the building is old and filthy , the staff has no idea about hotel keeping and customer experience , the breakfast we paid extra for was disgusting and very small , the rooms are labeled as " soundproof " that's why it was so noisy outside that we did not sleep at all , the staff wasn't eager to admit the serious issues the rooms have , I can write a whole essay about it , I simply advice you to stay away and also that they should have their ad banned because it is fake , even the entry on the map is false the " hotel " is at the city centre of Rethimnon if u notice the map indicates that it is 38km outside the city , all false all fake , notice the pictures and determine by yourself the quality of that place , it is an embarrassment for Greek tourism , avoid it at all cost , this experience inspired me to make honest but hard comments about places like that one to protect all the travelers from awful experiences like mine . I apologize for this waterfall of comments but I can't tolerate anymore this kind of theft !!! I hope my comments were helpful for all of you .

For us it was a terrible experience in this hotel.We went on leave to relax, only that I had a real disappointment about the conditions offered by the accommodation.The pictures on the Booking com are just wonderful and not the terrible rooms.Old rooms do not appear on the site and exactly an old room I also received a lot of noise from cars running non-stop.I paid more for an old apartment, than for a new room.I spoke at the front desk and nothing changed for the better. We are very disappointed with this experience and I want to share with you this cruel reality. I do not understand why they do not put the pictures in the old rooms?! Disappointed by the hotel, the agency with those who bought this stay and Booking.

Yes this option is definitely very very close to the beach.. i choose it because of the swimming pool, but i dont even try it because there's no sun after 15:00 and did look so interesting anyway.. i think it is expenssive even after the price bargain.. anyway, prices keep rising in Crete, the island becomes a Tourist Colony, so locals don't fit.

I have visited hotel Eltina in June 2017, it was one of the best parts of our holiday. An amazing staff with Dana, Irini, Nikitas, the owner and everyone from the family put all the energy and effort to make this hotel works for clients. The decoration of the hotel, every detail is carefully planed and arranged, very modern and new, latest trends, room acesorisses, children facilities, pool area, cleanliness, everything is perfectly planned just to make you stay feel comfortable and pleasant. Very good location, next to the beach, quiet, close to the city center, next to the supermarket. The breakfast is excellent. Overall service is perfect. They tried to help with any inquiries or questions, more than helpful. Very friendly and an amazing staff, they did everything to make our stay excellent, even more than we asked. They definitely made our whole holiday amazing! Absolutely great place to stay! We will definitely come again!
