We spent a wonderful two weeks in this hotel. The food was ok, not very sophisticated but tasty, the coffee could be better (because it is instant). The staff was really friendly, especially animators from Poland (Natalia, Marek and Kuba). Really great people, they told us where to go to see the best places in Crete. The mini disco every evening was something our son looked forward to all day. And we still listen to the songs today :-) The rooms were clean, the hotel modern, 4 swimming pools and lots of activities for children. We will definitely come back there again one day.
I dont now what was better everything was much more then we epected,1)room:clean,cozi,easy for families,10to10.2)food amazimg everything was delecious and fresh, chef was amazing 10to10.3)stuf,friendly a lot they make you feel like the only person of this hotel 10to10.4)pools for us and our kids fun all day plus that at the pool area its always something to eat (pizza pasta crepes ice cream)10to 10.for sure we visit again.
I would not exaggerate if I say that me and my wife had the time of our lives on a holiday in this hotel. A family owned hotel that goes beyond of the contractual services offered to the guests. The stuff is one big family and they are really attentive, friendly, smiling and giving out a lot of positive energy which creates a very good atmosphere from breakfast until dinner and late night drink. Me, my wife and our 1,5 yo toddler had a lot of fun in the pools which are just fantastic, the beach is few steps away, clean and mostly sandy. Food was absolutelly delicious, big variaty of different dishes for adults, children, vegeterians or meat lovers. We were very happy with the choices of vegetables and fruits. Room that we got was a standard one but it was spacious and equiped with small kitchen to prepare baby food, cofee or tea, we had a baby bed ready when we arrived. Our checkout was much earlier than our departure but we could enjoy all inclusive services until our bus picked us up, our luggage was locked up, we were given keys to the room and had access to a private shower so we could just enjoy ourselves until we headed back to the airport. I can also recommend the services of a photographer to captcher the precious family moments on the beach. A nice lady with good taste for photography whose husband is working as a manger of the hotel. Nothing less than a perfect holiday, I would come back and stayed longer than just 8 days.…
We have spent 10 wonderful days with our kids in this extraordinary place. Comfortable rooms, 3 pools at choice, a beautiful beach! Staff is extremely kind and professional, the resort is kept so clean and tidy. The last, but not the least, a fantastic cuisine! Delicious and tasteful meals, quality of which may be compared only with the best alla carte restaurants. The greatest compliments to the chef!
We really enjoy our 7 days in this hotel The staff is kind and everything is well organized, tasteful decoration and Not a thing wrong with this wonderful hotel . Great comms, thank you Kumbara end Kumbara, well maintained, secluded enough, and an easy Perfect.
Me and my family had a wonderful time spent in this hotel. The staff was nice and always helpful. All the employees managed perfectly the special circumstances of the Covid situation. The food as well as the accommodation was great. Everything clean and tidy. I strongly recommend!

We've just spent a 2 week family holiday at Dimitrios Village Beach Resort, with our 3 children 18, 14 & 7. Overall we had a lovely holiday, considering we were there the last 2 weeks of October the weather was amazing, plus the added bonus of not too many tourists. The staff were all really friendly and accommodating. The restaurant & housekeeping staff were fabulous. (& the Greek lady at reception ;) ) The rooms are fabulous, spacious and super clean! The resort is best suited to families with young children, the children's pool & play areas (both indoor and out) are great for keeping the little ones occupied. There is however very little for older children - a table tennis table (there were never any balls and the shop had sold out), 2 pool tables (all the ques were damaged) & some electronic games (@ a cost) The food is OK for an all inclusive, they seem to have toned down the flavours, don't expect to experience true traditional Greek food (even on Cretan or Greek night). Luckily there are a few great restaurants within walking distance of the resort and the centre of Rethymno is walkable too, or a taxi only costs around 7 euro each way. There was a great Magician one evening & traditional Greek music one other - This was the only entertainment on offer in 2 weeks. Not a problem for us. If you are a beer drinker then you will be just fine, the rest of the drinks are mediocre to absolutely disgusting - avoid the cocktails!!!! Cheap and nasty. All the non-alcoholic drinks besides the slush were sugary and carbonated - not a great option for children, fruit juices are not included in the package. Our only small gripe would be the bar, the awful drinks & one of the barman - The main barman played his personal playlist over and over again every single night almost on repeat, he seemed totally oblivious to the guests in the bar. The host who welcomed us each evening to the restaurant & also at the bar was absolutely brilliant, always smiling and attentive, we hope his marathon went well!!! All in all we had a good holiday!! If you have young children and want a carefree relaxed holiday then this is an awesome choice.…
We came for a family vacay abroad and our expectations were not set that high because of the very affordable price. Our expectations were definitly exceeded by far! Generous and clean rooms,a very nice and friendly atmosphere, the facilities and garden areas are lovely and perfect for families (but there were also many couples), and right by The beach. We really enjoyed our stay. We were not very impressed with the buffé though. There was a lot to choose from but the quality was not that high (although we know we set a rather high standard when it comes to food). The snack area partly compensated as we could enjoy pizzas, gyros and crepes at almost any time and they were generally tasty. But to be fair, we travelled around the island by car on several days and we were honestly not especially impressed with the food in other taverns either. The buffé did however not lower the overall experience, as the hotel as such and the staff made our stay really pleasant. We could easily come back and would definitly recommend! Thank you!…
What a fabulous holiday! We arrived quite late on the Saturday evening but were welcomed very warmly. We were even able to eat, which was very welcome as we thought we’d missed the dinner. The staff here are marvellous- everyone: the maids/bar staff/front of house/the chef/ waiters/waitresses/bar staff we’re absolutely the best. Thonasis has a way about him that makes everyone feel like he knows them personally and this makes a huge difference on a holiday. The actual hotel is very well planned, and has 4 pools but all are quite separate from each other. The beach is in the doorstep and has many sunbeds and umbrellas. It’s a lovely touch to bring melon around to sunbathers. Our 10 year old son had so much freedom because the resort and the lay out of the hotel is so good. The food is superb with lots of different themed nights and it is so varied you cannot fail to be impressed. I could go on and on and on about this place. Do not hesitate to book here ... we are leaving tomorrow and I would love to stay longer. Thankyou to all, what a great team x😊…
