I would not exaggerate if I say that me and my wife had the time of our lives on a holiday in this hotel. A family owned hotel that goes beyond of the contractual services offered to the guests. The stuff is one big family and they are really attentive, friendly, smiling and giving out a lot of positive energy which creates a very good atmosphere from breakfast until dinner and late night drink. Me, my wife and our 1,5 yo toddler had a lot of fun in the pools which are just fantastic, the beach is few steps away, clean and mostly sandy. Food was absolutelly delicious, big variaty of different dishes for adults, children, vegeterians or meat lovers. We were very happy with the choices of vegetables and fruits. Room that we got was a standard one but it was spacious and equiped with small kitchen to prepare baby food, cofee or tea, we had a baby bed ready when we arrived. Our checkout was much earlier than our departure but we could enjoy all inclusive services until our bus picked us up, our luggage was locked up, we were given keys to the room and had access to a private shower so we could just enjoy ourselves until we headed back to the airport. I can also recommend the services of a photographer to captcher the precious family moments on the beach. A nice lady with good taste for photography whose husband is working as a manger of the hotel. Nothing less than a perfect holiday, I would come back and stayed longer than just 8 days.

We've been to quite a few hotels in various islands of Greece in the last years, as a couple. This was our first trip with our 1 year old daughter and we expected dificulties but the hotel is very family friendly with easy access for strollers and a few pools for kids.

Also the beach is very close and accesible at just a few meters from the restaurant.

We received an amazing room with a full bed! (not 2 beds side by side). The room also has one single bed sofa and a baby bed so plenty of choices to put your kid to sleep.
The room is quiet, clean and everything is in working order.

The food is amazing with plenty of choises from Greek and European cuisine. There is even a late dinner up to 00:00 that came in very handy when we arrived late in the night

Everybody working at this hotel is very friendly, always smiling and not too obtrusive. And even the other guests seem to be the same!

There are so many other positive things that I didn't even start to talk about. Everything is built so that you just relax and enjoy.

We will come back here for sure!

I spent here a week from the 30th of august until the 6th of september with my wife and our 5 yo. We really enjoyed our stay. The beach was at a 2 minute walk distance from our room and we where able to find a sunbed in the first row every day after we had breakfast. People did not go out to reserve a sunbed with their towels which was really great. There 3 pools and a childrens pool and if for some reason we wanted to dip in a pool instead of the sea we where able to find either an empty pool or one with just a couple of people in it.

One of the things that makes this place special compared to other places I have been is the people. They greeted us on every ocasion with a smile even if they have been working all day every day. And this is true for every person here be that reception, dining area, beach bar, pizza corner, cleaning crew or the animatior lady for the kids.

You have access to food the whole day. There is a restaurant ( with awesome sea / sunset view ) for breakfast/lunch/dinner and there is a pizza / crepes / burger / salad / gyros corner that is open between 11:00 and 18:00. Huge plus that twice a day somebody visits the pool areas and the beach with a fresh batch of water melon.
You can have Ice cream / slushy / soft drinks / coctalis / beer / vine all day ( for the internation branded drinks you have to pay, local brands are inlcuded in the all inclusive ).

If you arrive late and you miss the dinner there is a late dinner that lasts until 00:00. In our case that was spaghetti with 2 different sauce ( one of them was vegetarian )

The animation is great with mini disco / face panting for the smaller ones and water sports for the bigger ones.

After a couple of days you almost feel like a family member here :)

We want to come back.

We stayed here for the first time and I would definitely come back.

Our room was very spacious and was cleaned every day. The only negative thing about the room was unfortunately the location, we had a terrace, but unfortunately not a nice view. We looked at a “courtyard” overlooking the other balconies, and facades, so unfortunately the chance of a beautiful view was not given. But since we only stayed for sleeping in the room anyway, that was not so bad now! Therefore everything is fine. 🥰

The staff was always friendly and accommodating. The Cleaning staff was always trying to keep everything clean which was really top, you really can't complain! At the reception everyone was very nice and accommodating. Questions could always be answered ☺️ It definitely works great here with English.

The staff at the restaurant were always nice. The plates were cleaned regularly, so you could always take a new plate at the buffet.
At the bar the bartenders were always very funny especially in the afternoon and definitely always did a great job 🥰 the two men were always funny and for a fun to have (unfortunately I have no names).

The location right on the beach was of course the highlight and my most important point personally. The beach was incredibly beautiful. I definitely recommend water shoes, as there are many stones in front of and in the sea and it is definitely much more pleasant to go into the sea with them. The beach chairs have to be paid for, which we knew in advance, but I still think it's a pity as these belong to the hotel. But we factored it in and it was okay. ☺️

We would definitely come back. 🥰 Thanks for the hospitality and the great food!

We stayed for a week in August 2024.
The place is not all-inclusive as the majority of things cost extra: beach towels, coffee at the bar, majority of drinks are all charged extra.
The place is quite run down and dated. There's often a bad smell in rooms from the piping system. The air-conditioning is very dated and not sufficient, it even doesn't allow you to set the temperature. Food is very monotonous and low-quality, mostly deep-fried dishes. Hygiene is deplorable, i.e. single ice cream scoop used by all hotel guests for self-service ice cream (sic!).
I wouldn't stay there again. I wouldn't recommend staying there to anyone. Avoid staying there if you can.

This hotel is perfect for families with children. It has everything you need at the hotel, plus the service is very good. The food is good and they have different international food every night for dinner. I would like to thank the staff that cleaned our room, and the chefs very much for making our stay perfect.

Pros- The food, the staff, the location. The location is perfect because you dont have to cross a road to get to the beach.

Cons- you have to pay for better internet if you want to use snapchat or se movies because the free internet was not really good.

I highly recommend this hotel, especially to families!

We’ve had amazing time in Dimitrios Village Beach Resort.
The staff was amazing, friendly and welcoming, they do their job well and are always ready to help.
Food is extraordinary, wide selection of food throughout the day, drinks likewise.
It was our first European all -inclusive so we didn’t know that it’s normal to pay for sun bed and beach towels on the top .
However, we did not need any of those as we had our beach blanket and towels.mini disco and entertainment was favourite amongst children, pizza and crepes amongst us.

overall the service people and place was very nice a we’ve had pleasant stay.

Pension with a magnificent view of the Mediterranean, well located despite the bus dropping you off at 150 m, the wifi works very well. Otherwise it's the first and last time they'll see me. Noisy, 2 swimming pools for adults with a capacity of barely 20 people, invade buoys and air mattresses. I counted 52 deckchairs for 169 rooms, which requires us to pay a deckchair on the beach (7 euros a day). the sheets have not changed in 13 days, I will end up with a positive thing, Mario and Nikos at the bar are on top.

Inn very nice, not too big so does not factory. We were upgraded and our duplex was very nice and clean. The pools are nice though a little small, we are quickly on top of each other. Indeed we have to get up early to book a deckchair but it is not only the French as I could read! Germans were booking their deckchairs the day before! The chef is adorable and goes to great lengths to satisfy the Inn guests and a big thank you to Camélia at the restaurant who was very adorable with our children and us. The Inn’s shop is pretty but it’s a shame that we were sold a perfume with a leaking bottle, and not great after-sales service, considering the number of things we bought, a Paypal or Paylib refund would have been normal. Pension’s pleasant beach and perfect location as it is a little off-center compared to the very touristy port of Rethymnon. Incredible cleanliness and this is important.

Very good hotel (resort).
We stayed at hotel as a couple for 2 weeks. The room was very big with balcony, big bathroom and toilet room. The room was very clean (cleaned every day). Thanks cleaning lady for the service.
At the reception they offer rent a car at the affordable price. We rented it and explored the Crete. We found very nice beach Bali (30 minutes/kilometers from hotel).
Near the hotel there is supermarket where you can buy bus tickets to the Rethymno. The bus stop is at the supermarket.
The restaurant was nice and big with the sea view. The food is very good (very tasty and nice decorated), thanks to the chef. At the hotel were many families with small children. The restaurant offers many different food for the children.
The hotel is at the sea. You can use many free sunbeds at the pool area or rent them at the beach for affordable price (7 EUR per set).
The offer many different free drinks (beer, cocktails, juices, ...) at the bar. At the evenings there is dancing music (sometimes live music). Thanks to Mario turists have good time.
We recomend hotel to everyone. Thanks all personal from hotel for our beautiful holidays and hope to see you again.
