We got back yesterday from a week in this beautiful hotel, as soon as you walk in the door you were greeted by a friendly face in a spotless reception area, checked in and went straight up to our room, the decore was lovely threw out and the standard room was perfect which was a good start, straight down for dinner and yet again greeted by more smiley faces who couldn’t do more for you. The food was brilliant and catered for everyone. Me and my partner enjoy trying new things as well as favourites from home with a Crete twist, desserts where my favourite with a great selection. Our stay went far too fast but whilst we were there we treated ourselves to a massage in the hotel spa which was amazing we came away feeling extremely relaxed and no longer any aches and pain. On a daily basis we felt more like family with the staff and like we were the only ones there, we have already discussed our next trip there. See you in 2023 Bio suite Hotel xxxxx…
We were staying in Sissi for a week and wanted to explore the other side of the island so we booked two nights in Rethymno. Our friends had recently holidayed here and recommended Bio Suits Hotel to us. What a recommendation! Set back on a quiet road with free parking for our hire car. Literally 5 mins from the gorgeous beach and 15 mins into the Old Town. A really stunning hotel with excellent facilities. The pool is a good size (not many sunbeds however) and at night it lights up with colour changing LEDs and little twinkly stars - so beautiful! The wifi is really good and the little finishing touches are excellent. It made our stay in Rethymno very special.
We have just come home from our stay and loved every minute. Every single member of staff was absolutely lovely and were always happy and polite! The hotel was lovely - clean and comfortable. Food was great and a good choice every morning and evening. Location is fab with loads of shops nearby and right next to the beach. We really enjoyed out stay here and would 100% come back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay 😊
Stayed here for four nights Sept 22. Arrived very late after a flight delay but fortunately the bar was still open for a cold beer. Nice comfy clean room with good air con. Nice pool area which never got too busy and gets the sun all day. Good breakfast with lots of choice. There is a bit of noise from the poolside entertainments some evenings but it stops about 2230ish. Just a short walk into town and very friendly helpfull staff.
We have just returned from an amazing holiday at Bio Suites Rethymno. I chose this hotel due to its location as we wanted to try a resort that none of us had been to before and we liked the idea of being close to the old town and the beach. The location really is excellent and Rethymno is a beautiful place to visit. The old town is stunning and has a good mix of traditional tavernas and lively bars. During the day it is quiet and relaxing and in the evening it is lively and vibrant. The hotel location is perfect as it is on a quiet road set back from the seafront. The walk to the beach is 5 minutes at most and 10 minutes to the old town. There are still plenty of quieter bars, restaurants and shops in the immediate area too. We loved this hotel!! It has obviously had a lot of investment and looks very modern and fresh. Every area of the hotel is spotless too. What really sets this hotel apart from anywhere I have ever stayed before is the staff. Every single team member goes out of their way to make sure you are looked after and we felt so welcome and appreciated. We travelled in a large group of 13 (seven adults and six children aged 4 - 15) for a 50th birthday and they really helped to make my husbands day special by sourcing a personalised cake and flowers for us and even sending him a card, decorating our breakfast table and playing happy birthday so the whole restaurant sang to him. The pool team (Zacharenia, Marianna, Eno and Iona) are an absolute credit to this hotel and are such good fun. We stayed bed and breakfast with one of the families opting for half board too. The breakfast selection is really good with plenty on offer. If you are expecting English style bacon and sausages you will be disappointed, but that is the same the world over you can’t fail to find something fresh and tasty to eat. Our friends who stayed half board said the evening buffet was small but very varied and changed each day and they were happy with all of their meals and their kids were too. The food and drinks at the pool bar are very good quality and not at all expensive. Usually hotels charge a premium for this but not here. We paid the same for drinks as outside the hotel and actually found the food to be slightly cheaper but still very good quality. The facilities here are great too with a nice pool, small baby pool, jacuzzi, pool tables, a children’s playground, a gym and a spa. The pool area isn’t huge, but we never failed to get sun-loungers at any time of day and if you ask the staff will always try to help make room for you as they have spare loungers stacked up. There is also a section of beach dedicated to this hotel and it’s sister hotel (Bio Beach) where you pay just 8 euros for 2 beds and a parasol which is an absolute bargain). Also you can get free pool/beach towels from the reception and exchange them for clean ones each day. There is waiter service at the beach too from the sister hotel so you have access to the same great food and drinks at the same prices as the hotel. The rooms are very nice, clean and modern. Our group had booked a variety of rooms and we all checked each other’s rooms out. The studios are really nice and perfect for a couple. I booked a suite with it being a special occasion but if I was to stay again I would book a one bed apartment for slightly less money as we had no kitchenette in the suite but had a bathroom and a shower room which seemed a waste of space to me. The families staying in the one bedroomed apartments did comment though that wasn’t enough storage space (wardrobes and drawers) for a family of four so had to live out of their cases for the holiday. They don’t have entertainment for the kids during the day, although ours were all just happy to play in the pool, but they do play music which is nice and varied and not too loud. In the evening they do have a different act each night of the week such as a magician, dancers, Greek night etc but isn’t the best to be honest so we went out every night. I definitely don’t want to leave this review on a negative point, so just to summarise this is a fantastic hotel with amazing staff and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We all said we would happily return here and would not hesitate to recommend it to our family and friends. Thank you to everyone at Bio Suites for making our holiday perfect!…
Hotel was amazing, very clean and rooms were spacious! Location was great for excursions and we visited old town as well as Arygloupolis, Springs of Argylopolis, Preveli beach, Monastery of Preveli and the Village mountains .We also went to the Middle Mountain zone village Gym and pool were always clean Food was amazing all the time The only draw back was the spa! At one point they state that you can use when you pay for treatment! Then when you book the treatment; they say it’s excluded so be mindful Our 13 year old had a chocolate massage and he hated it as he said it felt like he was being wiped with no pressure at all though he asked for intense pressure!
Lovely hotel, very clean and rooms are spacious and well furnished all staff are friendly and very helpful plus reception staff too. 5 mins walk to the beach lots of bars, restaurants and shops towards the old town. We got half board, food is lovely always something new to try. Entertainment is on every other night this includes a BBQ Greek night. Only reason for not rating 5* is because pool is small well there is also a baby pool but the surface gets wet and very slippery with no warning signs. Spa has a small jacuzzi.
Stayed for 10 days with husband daughter (12) son (6) So first of all the hotel is very clean and looks modern. Staff are lovely. Unfortunately we found the food awful my husband and I were able to at least choose a couple of bits for dinner but our children there was spaghetti and chips very little choice for children. The breakfast we had once and not again! Also I feel too many guests for space in restaurant. The hotel is more suited to German/Dutch clients very few English so the children struggled to make friends which is one of there favourite things to do! Personally we thought the hotel drinks (wine) were quite pricey Not enough sunbeds for amount of guests No childrens entertainment either This is not on the hotel but for us we really didn’t think Crete rethymnon is for children even in restaurants we struggled to even get a kids menu! We stayed on the second floor facing the street we found the noise from the street very noisy For us we would not return…
We were spending the day at Rethymno beach. Although our beach loungers were rented from a nearby restaurant, we wanted something a little different and wandered along the seafront. Bio Beach had a nice looking lounge/restaurant with great views across the beach. It looked smart but prices seemed reasonable so in we went. Firstly, the staff were excellent. Smart, knowledgeable about the wines and food and efficient. We shared salad and what in the UK would be called ‘dirty fries’. So tasty and with great wine too. Even though we didn’t spend too much money, we still got the complimentary raki at the end. Lovely (and the hotel looked good too - maybe for another trip). If you’re at the beach and want a civilised inexpensive lunch - this is the place.
Great and clean hotel. We had all inclusive and this was for the lunch a little disappointed. I suggest to go for the a al carte menu in that case. Food is good then. Big compliments to our three very lovely poolgirls: Zacharia, Ioanna and Marianna. They made our stay a real feast. So overall rooms are clean and good, food could be a little better concerning the buffet.
