Nestled in a prime spot, it offers easy access to the beach and local charms. The cleanliness of the hotel is a standout feature, often highlighted by travelers, and the range of amenities, including a well-furnished gym and diverse dining options, add to the allure. Commendations for the staff's professionalism and warmth abound, particularly for the restaurant and spa personnel. This is by far the best holiday me and my familly had in a long time! Since the first moment we stepped in the hotel everything went smothly, receptionists were so kind, considarate and welcoming. We were provided with a quick refreshments while we were waiting to check in. Guy who helped us with our luggage was so sweet and helpfull and also fluent in english! We stayed for breakfast and dinner and the food is 100/10, even for me as a vegeterian there were a lot of meat free and delicious options and desserts, where to begin.. by far the best baklava I’ve ever tasted! Also, one thing that I’d like to point out, is very fast reffils even 10 mins before closing - you can find every tray full whenever you come for your meal, great plus! Both reastaurant menagers where sooo kind and sweet and thoughtfull❤️ They remember your sitting preferences and always try their best to provide you the best table! (Including the 2 very kind ladies who are helping them). Every waiter always had a smile on their face and it just makes your day even better! ( our 2 main waitters most of the time were Giorgius and Kostas - they were so professional, sweet and funny!). During the dinner time, every night hotel provides different shows with high qualitty music ( I would like to mention pianist Iason, this is my personal prefference I had a blast! ) I also would like to mention Nensi, beautifull blond girl who was ckecking on us during our stay, she provided us with some great tips and was so caring and loving all the time❤️ As for cleanlinnes, eveything was 10/10, our cleaning lady, Sevasti (room 214) was so professional and thoughtfull! We stayed by the small pool most of the time ,since it is more quiet, and the girl Emanuella who is waittres there was sooo kind and loving she even made us a list of recomendations with her prefferences for beaches and she made our stay even better❤️ Beach is only 5 mins by foot ( you pay for 2 beds and umbrella~ 10e) and the city center is ~ 15 mins by foot which is great! The small building also has well equiped gym and great spa!
Staff really went above and beyond to make you feel valued that you’re not just another guest.
To summarise my rewiev I’ll say that me and my family never go to the same hotel twice but after day 2 we already agreed to book it for the next summer!

Lovely hotel; very smart and quite big with a beautiful pool. Busy area but we were not aware of any noise in the room. it was two blocks from a public beach and you could walk into Rethymnon in about 20 minutes. There is a parking lot (8 euro a day) which is worth it as parking is definitely not easy here! The staff were very helpful and we had an amazing upgrade to a suite with a really big balcony overlooking the pool, so felt very spoilt! The restaurant is a buffet but the food is very fresh and is constantly refilled. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent with a huge amount of choice. The bed was very comfy although a duvet a bit hot even in May and the bathroom was big with an excellent hot over-bath shower.

Hotel itself is located couple of blocks from beach, but walking time is just some minutes. The reception staff was friendly and our arrival to hotel was at middle of night because of flight. Hotel has arranged sandwiches and water at room because restaurants were closed.

We had a superior room with outdoor jacuzzi and the room was just as it was described. Room was nice, clean and the most important – it was quiet. Of course some noise came to room at mornings when other quests went to breakfast, but since these jacuzzi-rooms were in separate corridor – the amount of noise were quite small. The room had separate yard where the jacuzzi was and there was plenty of room to have two sun beds. The palm that was in yard, shadowed the hot sun just perfectly at afternoon. Bathroom was spacious and hot water was available all the time. The Jacuzzi what we had was excellent, it was filled when we arrived and maintenance staff checked it daily. Water is changed when guests change, and water is kept clear with filters at pool and chemicals. You can set the temperature for water as you want and have great time at your own balcony.

We had half-board at our vacation and I have to say that breakfast was excellent. It is hard to think what was missing there, bread, bacon, fruits… You can sit either outside or inside – inside there was always room – outside was more crowded, but staff did their best to arrange needed tables. Dinner included to half-board was good – not exceptional. Only weird thing was that drinks did not included at all and you have to pay even the water bottle – and how to pay these drinks were never explained. Easiest way is to sign the recipe and pay all at you room bill at once when you sign out. Of course you can try to pay drinks after the dinner, but it is the hard way.

The hotel has a pool and sun beds around it. Here is the same problem as every tourist hotel has – some people bring their towels to sunbeds early in the morning and then leave for breakfast, beach, or some other activities and all the beds are “reserved by towels” and only few people are actually in the pool area. Of course pool was fully crowded if the beach has “red flags” because of the wind.

Staff was very friendly – I have to say that service was very good in this hotel. Cleaning was done every day , bed was made and towels were changed whenever we wanted.

As earlier said – hotel is located couple blocks from beach and if you want to walk to old town – there is about two kilometers walk there, but it is acceptable. Near hotel is lots of supermarkets if you want to buy drinks or food to room. If you get the room at street side – there might be lots of noise that disturbs you but I suggest that pay a bit more and get superior room or room with poolside view and get rest at night. There was program at every night at poolside if one is interested something like that (Greek night, the magician, live music etc)

Overall, I can recommended this hotel – our vacation here was very relaxing and successful.

An unforgettable family stay where everything was perfect: a very warm welcome and staff always listening and smiling, the restaurant is quality and diverse with always local specialties to discover. The rooms are nice, well equipped with their small terrace and especially air conditioning (extra charge at the end of the stay). The pools and their many deckchairs are large and well maintained, the small pool is in the shade mid-afternoon, it is very appreciable. Special mention for the spa and its great team that has a nice surprise for my daughters for their birthday. Little downside on musical entertainment, not always at the Inn's standard. We will be back with great pleasure!

We had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel is impeccably clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The pool area is kept spotless, offering a perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing all the comfort you could ask for. The pillows and mattresses ensure the perfect sleep, and the room comes with a generously sized balcony with comfortable chairs and a cosy corner for relaxation.

The staff, from the administrators to the receptionists and waiters are incredibly welcoming and professional. Their warm smiles - special thanks to Mihalis, Baso, Nancy for making us feel comfortable in the restaurant - and attentive service made us feel right at home.

The food is nothing short of spectacular, with dishes that go beyond expectations. Every meal was a culinary delight, but the desserts truly deserve all the stars—absolutely delicious! Kudos to the Chef! The restaurant is well-organized, even during busy times, and the staff manages the flow of people with ease and efficiency.

The entertainment provided was classy and added to the overall experience, making evenings at the hotel enjoyable.

Overall, Theartemis Palace is a top-notch destination where every detail is carefully considered. Highly recommended! You guys rule!

such a gorgeous hotel and provides such kind welcoming staff, the hygiene is excellent, any mess in the rooms is cleaned by the janitors and they make the rooms just feel fresh each day. the bathrooms have lovley showers which just felt so refreshing after a long day at the beach, the sink has lots of space with a large mirror. the wardrobe has so much storage and multiple functions to use. the beds are comfortable and very clean. in the main entrance there is always assistance whether that’s behind the bar or at the desk it’s phenomenal. the pool is so gorgeous with lots of sun beds available. the restaurants are so efficient and quick with outside and inside seating, once you have finished a meal they will in seconds take it away for you. the buffet has so many options family friendly. the extra add ins are great like the spa! the hotel connected to the theartermis is also great. i often used their indoor pool as its cooling and chilled. overall amazing experience

Very friendly staff. Very good daily cleaning. We booked half board with the idea of ''we'll see'', but in the end we made good use of the dinner buffet in the hotel for 5 of the 7 days. The breakfast is also top notch. The old center is easily accessible on foot. It's nice to be able to change the towels for free every day, which can also be used on the beach.

Totally a 4* hotel deserved. We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and everything was perfect. We didn't have any problem. The staff helped us with everything we needed. The checkout is available until 12:00. We had the flight at 2pm next day, so we left our luggage in a special room and enjoyed for one more day. They have a private shower at the swimming pool so we didn't have to get a later checkout (until 6am, the later checkout costs 60euro).
Thanks to the staff.

This was our second time in this hotel and, just like the first time, we were very satisfied. We were given a very warm welcome and taken to our room. The food is very varied, so there is something for every taste. The Greek specialties, which offer a small insight into Greek cuisine, are particularly noteworthy. The staff are always friendly and courteous, and always had a smile on their faces.
The room was very clean and modern, which made us feel very comfortable. The built-in air conditioning meant that you could sleep and stay in the room without any problems even on hotter days.
As the hotel complex has two pools, they are not too crowded and you can use a lounger without any problems. The complex also has an indoor pool, which makes swimming possible even in bad weather.
Of course, there was also an opportunity to change your bath towels, so you always had fresh towels. In the evening there was entertainment almost every day, which varied in music and dance, and was therefore nice to watch.
The walk to the beach was about 250m, so it was quick and easy to get to. The location to the old town was about 15-20 minutes walk and was also easy to reach along the beach promenade.
The location of the hotel was therefore perfect for us.
We really enjoyed our time at the Theartemis Palace and will definitely plan a third visit to this hotel.

What a wonderful experience.
Clean, friendly and helpful staff, room with a great bed and balcony, good breakfast.
The hotel is located 1.1/2 km from the Oldtown and 200 meters from the beach.
A taxi to the center costs €6.00 or a 20 minute walk.
The city of Rethimnon is a location with something for everyone, a large shopping area with good food/drinks

Hi, normally I would say that all-inclusive would include all meals. But in this case, it was the room an breakfast so really, B&B. But the room was wonderful with really good shower and the breakfast probably the best buffet I've ever eaten from anywhere in the world. Hope this helps. C
