Absolutely Stunning hotel We stayed for one night for my husbands Birthday The staff are superb and so friendly. Our room was beautiful with a Spa bath and lovely outside courtyard area . Lovely toiletries. Because it was my hubby's birthday they gave us a bottle of sparkling wine which was brought to us in a ice bucket with a platter of fresh fruit. We also got welcome drink on arrival. The grounds are stunning and the two pools are beautiful. Breakfast was in the courtyard outside and was fresh and beautiful loved the cheese pancakes and fresh cheeses. Thank you to the Staff who made our stay so special ❤

This hotel was our splurge at the end of our 2 weeks in Crete. We were overwhelmed by the warm greetings of the staff at check-in and were delighted to be given a gorgeous bottle of bubbly along with a platter of Greek delicacies in honor of our anniversary. So unexpected. We booked late and were only able to secure a basic room, but it was perfect. Plenty spacious, view of the pool, wonderful amenities, and an extremely comfy bed. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Location is unbeatable, right in the center of old town, and the pools were a welcome sight after a long day of sight seeing. Reception was there for our every need and truly made us feel like family. Special thanks to Dimitris and Helen for their kindness and warm hospitality. Such a memorable stay, thank you!!
Excellent service, right in the heart of pedestrian old town, Near all restaurants and shops. Upgraded our room. Ample breakfast buffet. Only challenge was that hotel does not have access to parking. This is somewhat problematic as one has to find paid parking lots some distance from hotel and then manage to drag your luggage to the hotel.
Rimondi Boutique Hotel was an absolute DREAM! I had my wedding in October 2021 in Rethymno, Crete and myself, my husband, and our guests all chose to stay at Rimondi for the week. The service, kindness, and overall helpfulness of the Rimondi staff was nothing short of amazing. We traveled from the USA to Crete and it being our first time to the island, we fell in love with it, its' shopping, its' people, its' food, and its' hospitality. Our room was spacious and beautiful and the location in Old Town Rethymno is PERFECT. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!
We loved everything about this hotel during our 4 night stay. The rooms are lovely, we had one of the executive rooms with a private balcony overlooking the pretty courtyard. The location is great with plenty of very good restaurants a minute walk away and just 10 minutes from the bus station, also the breakfast each morning was delicious. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all, we would highly recommend using it as your base to explore the area.
Well, what can you say about this fab hotel? The Rimondi Boutique Hotel was recommended to us by our fab U.K. Travel Agents - Visions Group and was based on our criteria of requiring a hotel that: 1. Was known for its excellent customer service 2. Only had a limited number of rooms 3. Was situated within walking distance of a number of restaurants and Tavernas. The Rimondi Boutique Hotel met all of the above criteria. The hotel is situated around 250 metres from the famous Rimondi Fountain. Despite being close to the centre of the Old Town (and its numerous restaurants and bars) it feels as if the hotel is in an ‘oasis of calm’. The passageway that separates the two 17th / 18th century houses that comprise the hotel is very quiet so you can be guaranteed a good night’s sleep. The two buildings are really very pleasant. However, what makes the Rimondi Boutique Hotel so special is the quality of the service provided by Eleni and her team. My wife and I are regular international travellers and we believe the service offered by Eleni and her team was as good as any we’ve experienced. We will certainly be returning!…
The hotel is located in the best area in the centre of the old town of Rethymnon, only a short ten minute walk to the beach. It is on a quiet street so very peaceful yet with many shops, bars and restaurants around. It is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in, you feel utterly spoilt and privileged, the staff are wonderful, and the buffet breakfast extensive and delicious plus a la carte eggs cooked to order if you are on the estate side. Loved the spa room with private jacuzzi and stone vaulted ceiling, slept like a dream in a very comfortable bed. We cannot wait to come back again.
We stayed 5 nights in the Rimondi Boutique Hotel. Having visited SLH Hotels across the world quite frequently, our expectations were quite high. As a first goodie we were given an Upgrade to a pool suite, which was really nice. But for sure the best experience was the staff - so kind and caring! We were there with our little two year old son and they took all opportunities they had to entertain him - without being intrusive. They were extremely polite and are for sure an asset of this hotel. The hotel itself is located directly in the heart of Rethymno old town. Very central but also very calm. Walking distance to all sightseeing activities and with a lot of good restaurants around the cornee. We enjoyed every single day of our stay!
The hotel is located in the heart of Rethymno's Old Town, and an easy walk to some of the finest restaurants in the city and the beach. We have just returned from our second visit this gem of a hotel - the previous time was in 2019, prior to COVID - and found the standards even higher. If your reviews went to ten stars, this hotel would qualify. Physically, the hotel is just beautiful; the ambiance gracious; and the standard of comfort and cleanliness the highest. All of the staff, whether housekeeping, wait staff, or reception are the most professional you will meet. There is nothing that they will not do to ensure you have the best hotel experience. Quibbling is easy, but I would just say that a better coffee service at breakfast (not brewed, poured into an urn and kept warm) plus a better quality bread would be appreciated. Please note this hotel is ideal for couples or singles looking for a quiet and peaceful environment. It is definitely not suitable for families with young (under 12) children. Go and enjoy this Greek gem!…
